Bread is essential! A blessing. The bakers at C Town bakery definitely provided! Super fresh, hearty and delicious. We also tried several cookies, serve it with hot tea or kahwa...perfection. Owner is kind and friendly. I will be back for sure to try the kunafe and other baked goods.

I'm here just for the manakish. Boy was I not disappointed. With each bite I was taken back to the winding streets of Bab Touma Did not disappoint

Came here to get some Kanafe- they were out and said it would take 30 min to get more - they offered to make me one in 10 min with 5 pieces for $35- that was nice of them but I didn't really need 5 slices. I got 2 slices of aish el saray instead- the slices were huge! $13 for 2... it was so melted because it's was literally 100 degrees in the place- I feel bad for these guys sweating their butts off! Anywho- my dessert was good- and the guys were friendly. The place is in a sketchy area of town - police were at the liquor store in the plaza getting a bum to leave , and they have security walking around -

By the time my friend and I wanted to order, they seemed like they ran out of pita, so they had to make fresh pita. Luckily it wasn't too long! I asked for everything on it and you can technically add more to it aside from "the everything" they mentioned. We ate inside, which the right side of the joint is where you order and you can dine inside on the left side of the place. They actually have quite a nice dining area! The seating is also very nice and cozy. Sitting down with our pita bread, it was pretty nice! Everything tasted so fresh and the pita was so soft (especially cause it just came out). Falafel was nice and crispy. It was really good. Although, I wish all the hummus was all on the bottom and which it was spread out more nicely. Maybe i'll get more next time. I was extremely full by the time I ate 3/4 of it. I didn't want to save it cause I was afraid the pita might get soggy, so I forced myself to finish it and became extremeelyyyy full haha. Still very delicious!

I arrived about 20 minutes after placing the order but still had to wait another 20 minutes, making the total wait time about 40 minutes. The beef shawarma was disappointing--it wasn't thinly sliced as expected but more like chopped or minced beef, and the flavor just wasn't up to par. I also ordered three kibbeh balls but only received two; the third was oddly replaced with chicken nugget pieces. The chicken tawook wrap was poorly prepared, lacked flavor, and was very underwhelming. Overall, the food didn't taste good, and with the long wait and odd substitutions without considerations. I wouldn't recommend this place.

With salad but barely filled half way in the half-sized to-go box, for $18. Came with a side of "pita bread" but it's actually pieces of flour tortilla... what?? Biggest complaint is the wait. With only 2 people ahead of me, having to wait over 30 minutes for my food. I see only 2 guys working in the kitchen and one of them is the cashier, ON A LUNCH HOUR. Clearly, they are making short cuts to maximize their profits. Will not return.

Our lunch was a falafel pita for myself- very delicious and not dry as falafel can sometimes be. My friend had the lamb luncheon plate and was very happy with his meal. The food tasted very fresh and healthy. We will definitely return!

As we were brainstorming what type of cuisine we wanted, we both agreed upon West Asian/Middle Eastern. So, of course, I hopped on Yelp and was delighted to findCafe X2O! Seeing that it was a Lebanese spot, I knew that the food would be pretty good from the get-go. When we arrived to the restaraunt for late lunch, we were seated promptly, given the menus, and water to drink. We ordered the chicken breast kabob plate, the beef shawarma plate, with sides of grilled vegetables, hummus, baba ghanouj, and toum (garlic sauce). Of the bunch, the baba ghanouj and toum were my FAVORITE! SO FLAVORFUL! As for the grilled vegetables, I'm personally not a fan of whole roasted roma tomatoes and a whole grilled zucchini. The chicken kabob and beef shawarma plates were pretty yummy! However, I did prefer the meat and the rice to be a lot more seasoned & salted. They both tasted a bit too bland for my personal liking, however, the proteins were tender and cooked to perfection! (I do tend to be extremely particular about West Asian/Middle Eastern food, given that I am West Asian/Middle Eastern myself and have high expectations when eating out - hence the preference in extra seasoning! ) I was slightly disappointed that they didn't have ayran (Middle Eastern yogurt drink), as most spots tend have this on their beverage menu. That would've been perfect to sip on the extremely hot day it was! I do plan on coming back here to try out their falafel and shawarma wraps. Highly recommend to folks in the area that are curious to try West Asian/Middle Eastern food and are looking for a solid spot to eat!

I was hoping the leftover falafel would taste better the next day, but sadly, it didn't. Chicken and beef kabob were decent. Kinda bummed how they didn't have some sort of combo bowl. You'd have to buy extra meat if you wanted to try different meats together. The extras and sides were quite pricey, too. We also tried a variety of flatbreads. The spinach and cheese was our favorite. We liked the zataar one, and the meat with jalapenos was just ok. The thick creamy garlic sauce went well with the thin, crispy flatbreads, while the runny white sauce tasted bland and slightly bitter (unpleasant with everything, to be honest). Overall, the food is fine, but I wouldn't go again. A few tables were available inside the small, simple-looking shop, but it felt a bit awkward eating there. Staff were not very attentive, but once we got their attention, they were helpful.

The tabbouleh is awesome - this is pretty much identical to mine so of course I would love it. The first time I came, I got the spicy falafel; The second time I got the regular. Just based on those two visits, I would recommend the regular. The spicy wasn't actually really spicy, and the patties were almost burnt. It tells you how good everything was that I still came back though. Second visit I got the regular patties and I really really enjoyed the bowl. Every ingredient is fresh and delicious, tahini is great, and there's a shaker of zataar for seasoning on the counter. Great prices, great owner, great food. Big thumbs up. Gotta try one of the fresh made flatbreads or wraps next time.
