We ate inside, which the right side of the joint is where you order and you can dine inside on the left side of the place. They actually have quite a nice dining area! The seating is also very nice and cozy. Sitting down with our pita bread, it was pretty nice! Everything tasted so fresh and the pita was so soft (especially cause it just came out). Falafel was nice and crispy. It was really good. Although, I wish all the hummus was all on the bottom and which it was spread out more nicely. Maybe i'll get more next time. I was extremely full by the time I ate 3/4 of it. I didn't want to save it cause I was afraid the pita might get soggy, so I forced myself to finish it and became extremeelyyyy full haha. I ordered the Kufta Plate with Hummus, to go. It took a really long time even though I was the only person there. When the food came out, I asked for some Sumac. The older gentleman who brought my order out, told me that it's already incorporated and the food is seasoned to perfection so I don't need it. Great! I like the confidence! Feeling reassured and excited, I brought my Kufta Plate back to the office to eat. I dig into the food and immediately notice a complete lack of flavor or seasoning. It was so bland that I was momentarily afraid that I might have contracted Covid. I reached for the pickled turnips and peppers, I could taste those perfectly fine. They were intense, so I knew it wasn't Covid. My co-worker tried a bite and he immediately spat it out. I feel bad leaving a bad review because the guy seemed nice, but this was by far, the single worst Mediterranean food I have ever had. It's one of the worst meals I've had in general.

Pro tip: if you can get there early enough, you'll get the best pieces fresh off the spit, and that's when the shawarma really shines. Also, definitely add the batata harra to your rotation. Not a lot of Arab/Lebanese spots do it well or even offer it, so I'm glad this place does. It's easily one of the underrated items on the menu. Tony and his son are always there taking care of people, and at this point they honestly feel like family. That kind of hospitality is a big reason we keep coming back. Reliable food, welcoming people, and one of those local spots you're always happy to support.

(I do tend to be extremely particular about West Asian/Middle Eastern food, given that I am West Asian/Middle Eastern myself and have high expectations when eating out - hence the preference in extra seasoning! ) I was slightly disappointed that they didn't have ayran (Middle Eastern yogurt drink), as most spots tend have this on their beverage menu. The tabbouleh is awesome - this is pretty much identical to mine so of course I would love it. The first time I came, I got the spicy falafel; The second time I got the regular. Just based on those two visits, I would recommend the regular. The spicy wasn't actually really spicy, and the patties were almost burnt. It tells you how good everything was that I still came back though. Second visit I got the regular patties and I really really enjoyed the bowl. Every ingredient is fresh and delicious, tahini is great, and there's a shaker of zataar for seasoning on the counter. Great prices, great owner, great food. Big thumbs up. Gotta try one of the fresh made flatbreads or wraps next time.
