Haven't visited this place in a while. The place hasn't changed. You go up to the counter to order and it is open seating. They will bring the food to your table. I love crepes and they have all kinds. I stick to sweet ones, even to have as my main meal. We had the Nutella crepe and Normandie crepe. The food was warm and tasty. I also got an iced mocha, which was okay. I like my drinks sweet and this was not to my liking, but not bad. I like supporting small businesses, which is why I came back. Wow this place is bad. Upon walking in on a Tuesday around noon ( lunchtime ) there was not a single soul inside. That's a bad sign already. But I continued since I was craving French onion soup. Staff greeted me right away. Took my order and failed to tell me a few things before I ordered. Which is one Of the reasons it's 1 star. French onion soup. Not authentic at all. It's hot water with a beef bouillon cube and some pepper. That's how it tasted. Onions aren't caramelized. Bread used was frozen croutons you'd usually defrost for a salad. Roasted turkey sandwich on a croissant. It's literally cold cut processed turkey that was heated up with butter in a pan. Tasted burnt and terrible. Secondly the cheese is suppose to be cheddar. They put American cheese on it. It tasted SO BAD. Lettuce and tomato was fresh that's all I can say that's good about it. Bread was decent. I mentioned about the cheese and they didn't offer to refund. They brought out instead shredded mild cheddar and another slice of American cheese asking if I wanted that? Wow. The interior is very nice and the bathrooms are clean. This place HAS potential. But unfortunately I will not return due to these issues. But how are their crepes? Such a cute touch and oasis of Paris in an otherwise commonplace shopping plaza. Everything we ordered was good: dessert crepes with chocolate, to breakfast crepes and veggie crepes, cappuccino and iced mocha. I asked for to go just so we would already have the leftover containers, but ate at the restaurant itself. The art and bistro chairs truly give a sense of a French atmosphere, and the mama bear and baby bear sitting by the window were a cute and relaxed touch. My daughter is severely allergic to peanuts, and since they have peanut butter on the menu, I let them know her allergy and asked if they could clean the grill surface first. The girl who helped us had many good recommendations, but we had a few ideas of our own. My daughter decided on the BLT sandwich on a croissant with a side salad. Great sandwich! The croissant was buttery and flaky. The bacon was crispy and lettuce and tomato fresh. I ordered the French onion soup and a Cesar salad with grilled chicken. I have to say I was disappointed the soup had very little onion in it and the broth was thin and not as flavorful as I would have liked it. The salad lacked just a bit as well. Not like the other Cesar salads I've had. I also ordered the crepe Suzette. Wow they sure have incredible crepes. This crepe was filled with orange marmalade and was airy and light. It was so good! Though some of the food was lackluster they definitely have the crepes to make up for it. The beautiful chic interior made it such a pleasant experience as well. Delicious crepes, I have been here several times and always try to order something different. On my recent visit we came for breakfast on a Saturday morning. We were lucky to get there before the crowd. You order your food and the counter and then sit down and they bring the food to your table.. The service was quick, and the staff was great... This is a cute place to come to for brunch with the girls or on a first date.. It makes you feel like you are in Paris, hence the theme.. You can't go wrong with the sweeter crepes and I've tried two of the savory ones and they're very good. The crepes are made well and the portion is great and I like the flavor of the sauces for the savory ones. You pay first and sit and they bring the food to you. The staff is friendly. I've been wanting to try this place since moving into the area and reading the great reviews. After visiting the Michaels down the way, on the way out I saw Crepes de Paris and I knew I had to come back after dinner for a sweet treat. I have a BIG, sweet tooth so I made sure to leave room for dessert. Personally, crepes don't hold too well when you take them "to-go." They get cold and they get hard to cut through and just not as good. So, for this visit I decided to sit down and eat there to get the best crepe experience. Since I wanted something sweet, I went with their Royale Crepe (banana, strawberry, Nutella, with a side of whip cream dusted in powdered sugar). Just a classic crepe; can't go wrong with that choice. The two other people that came by with me also got the same just to start for this visit. As we were sitting there, we realized we didn't get a drink to enjoy as we ate. We looked over their menu and noticed they had many options. They had coffee, bottled drinks, and smoothies. After much contemplation we went with their smoothies. We went back to the register and ordered 1 cappuccino, 1 pina colada, and 1 mixed berries. There was only one girl in the front so upon taking our order and bringing our drinks one by one, she looked overwhelmed and honestly a bit annoyed that we made this order. We brushed it off and that's when our crepes came out. We got all 3 crepes at the same time, and I was pleasantly surprised. I snapped a quick picture and then I was ready to dig in. To be honest, I was underwhelmed. The crepe itself was tough to cut through; kind of like when you take it "to go" and you waited a bit too long and it gets cold. It gave me the impression that they do their crepes ahead of time and just grab as they need them. Not saying this is what they do but based on texture it gave me that impression. With our visit we also took another smoothie and crepe to go and tbh, it was pretty pricy for 4 crepes and 4 smoothies. Overall, it was an "okay" experience this first time. Second time at this location, first was unimpressive, the crepe was very paper thin. I was used to a more substantial crepe at the location I frequented in Mission Viejo. The wait was long, 20 mins at that visit. This second time, the crepes were like I expected, substantial and delicious, however the wait this time was 45 mins, no one bought the water or hot chocolate out, I had to go and remind the server. I also ordered xtra hot, hot chocolate as I remembered last time it was luke warm....yep, came out lukewarm.
