Forget the rest, C2 is the place! I get off work late and I tried fantastic sams on Iris but they were so mean to me. I haven't had a hair cut in a long time so I was so nervous. I got my eye brows waxed at this place because my usual place was closed for today and this place ruined one side of my eye brows. I think she was pressing onto the paper too hard and the wax probably got spread on to the brows further and plucked out more than it should have I'm sure. I was precautious at first when I came into the place for a style/cut. But since my usual barber was away and I needed to be cleaned up for this weekend. I decided to give this place a shot & I am glad I did. The young woman who did my cut was amazing & friendly. With all the mixed detail/images of information I was providing. She got the jest of what I wanted. And when she got to work, man were her hands swift and sensual. Like I mean I was put at ease with just how she handled my taper/cut. I have never done henna tattoo before came here I was told $25 for a simple design she told me she was charging me cheap... after I saw a post on offer up with a henna with the price of $20... anyways it look ok when she did the design but once it was dry... it looked so bad... I called today to inquire about appointments and business hours due to my regular salon being closed. However, the receptionist had a shit attitude. I was ready to set up an appointment but then decided not to because if the service is already bad over the phone I can only imagine the service inside. I didn't get her name due to me not being comfortable with her negativity and hostility. I decided to try this new salon out, based on all the great reviews with the stylist C2. I had such a horrible experience, from the time I walked in!!! I should have left while I had the chance! My fault!!! First of all, the salon is not clean nor sanitary! Very dusty, stuffy everywhere, dirty and all the mirrors have fingerprints throughout the salon! First bad impression then the stylist C2 is not too much of a good customer service stylist. Very short and brief doesn't explain the process thoroughly. Anyhow my hair came out horrible and the haircut was choppy! Never had layers the way she did mine and to top it off my hair was so much shorter than I asked! So... I don't want to put a negative vibe here, I'll tell you and you decide my experience . C2 is a good lady, I can bring my son , very accommodating to mothers like me and that's a bonus.. her mother who Is also watching the salon and she watches my son too..its like a family. My son call them Auntie... Attention, Just be mindful that it's expensive. Every little extra things has a price. I like c2, her mom, her service and her salon. AND here's my experience and you decide. Ok. So I went to C2 salon. 1st visit I planned for a blonde ombre and highlights on the top. She charged me $220+ for a bra length hair. but the end result was not I expected. However I like the blonde result :) i like it,But it was not an ombre effect. It's just blonde with a 2 inch brown from the root. (You know what I mean, it's the root issue ,I'll attached the picture) The 2nd time, I went back to correct the hair color + roots and a lowlight. I send her the planned picture for subtle blonde highlights. 1st she told me it's gonna be $80 since I already have the blonde hair. We begun: So she placed some highlights on the top & roots (I think so), 2nd, she toned my blonde and 3rd, add the lowlights. It turns out very good, I still Like it but not what I originally expected again however i like the combination and what she did. It's a Subtle ash blonde. I was so happy about it.. :D. However it looks like she did not include the roots (I'll attached a pic) :( I noticed it a day after. It looks like the hair color is a month old on the top. Coz there's like 1 inch black and half to an inch brown. AND She charged me a total of $187. From original asking price of $80. Good thing I had my credit. I just wished She did my roots properly, bec. For a price of $187, it's disappointing. Should I go back??? What do you think? I kinda want to, to give her a 3rd chance even just for the roots... But still debating about it. She might be upset or not even to pick up my call/texr after this review. Will I recommend her?? Yes. For mothers like me- , bec. She and her mom are very accommodating. Well, Just explain to her properly on what you like even if you already show her the picture , emphasize if what color on the roots and if you want to retouch your roots. lastly bring a lot of cash. I'm only giving it two stars because the person who helped me was a sweetheart. But don't go here. It was dirty their prices on the wall don't even match the prices they give you. I went to get my eyebrows waxed and regretted it instantly. They cleaned up the bottom super half ass, cut my skin with tweezers and left my eyelid sticky as hell with the wax. My eyebrows are literally still on fire from it. Had to go home and basically clean them up myself. Save your money eyebrows and skin and do it yourself. read more

I got my hair colored by Sittu! Very nice person AND I appreciate all her hard work! I had been trying to find someone who can color my hair red given I had multiple colors in my hair. Even though the colors were fading, every stylist I talked to at the time said it can't be done without bleaching out all the colors completely since I had some purple, green, and blue in my hair. They said that the colors would turn a muddy brown. Given I can't bleach my hair again (except for the roots which have never been bleached before), I kept calling to try to find the right hair salon. A wonderful woman I met at an Indian grocery store recommended her friend, Sittu, and my gosh, I'm so glad she did! Sittu used a color lifting product (not bleach) to try to get some of the color out. She then tested out the color on a small spot in my colored hair when I was trying to see if Henna would work instead. She also suggested testing a real bright red hair color on another small spot in my hair too (over the colors that other stylists had said would turn brown), in case the Henna didn't work. She was so smart to do that because, guess what? The Henna didn't work, but the real bright red she suggested did! I was shocked to see a nice shade of red and a bit of a pinkish tone on the colored part of my hair! So, it CAN be done! And just as she said, it wasn't going to turn brown! Sittu proceeded to color the rest of my hair red. It came out so well, and I was so stunned that it worked! No brown muddy colors. Plus, her prices are great!!! My hair is now a beautiful shade of red. Sittu figured out a way to make it work. Thank you, Sittu, for coloring my hair! ^o^ I love the color! read more

I needed a hair cut and I'm new to moval so I found a place close to where I lived and this came up with pretty good reviews. I was only getting a straight cut to chop off all the dead so I wasn't too worried. When I walked in the place just looks run down, just an old salon spot. It took the stylist a minute to welcome me and there was definitely no smiling faces. I went to go take a seat and they have old dingy black couches that have white stains all over them, almost didn't sit down but I managed to on the edge of the couch. The wait wasn't long and I told the lady what I wanted and she did just that. I was just really scared because I only wanted a certain amount chopped and she kept snipping and snipping. On top of that she cut it dry, didn't even bother wetting my Hair to assure an even cut. Lady was really nice and talkative but it was just a nerve racking experience. read more

I've been waiting awhile to write this review because honestly I wanted to see what would happen to my hair and I kinda feel bad. This lady is was in over her head busy and seems like she has no one to help her, but that does not excuse my experience, and i'd like to help other people from being misled. My experience here was awful, first let me say that I had my eyebrows done before anything else. The threading was fine, but she really messed up the tint. My eyebrows were so crooked! One was higher and one was longer. I didn't say anything... she said it only lasts a week so i just let it go. But my time there did not get any better. I wanted a balayage, I showed her a picture and I understood that my hair would not come out looking like that, as I had box dyed my hair an auburn color a few months back. My plan was to hopefully keep coming back for sessions until my hair got to that point. So everything was fine up until she put bleach in my hair.... after she applied the bleach she then got another client that needed her hair and makeup done. Along with two other people that client brought with her, who, she later told me, didn't even have an appointment. She left me sitting in that chair with bleach in my hair for TWO AND A HALF HOURS! I'm no hairstylist, but I'm pretty sure thats not right. She knew she messed up. She kept running over and apologizing, telling me she didn't have any help. Her daughter was even over there doing someone's hair. This little girl just graduated high school... it was weird. Her daughter is the one who took the foils out of my hair and blowdried it. My hair looked horrific when they took those foils off; It was disgusting! I pulled on it and it was elastic and broke off. I had them cut most of it off. As much damage without my hair being too super short, as I've been growing it out for the past two years. Also, let me add that the picture I showed her when I came in was mostly ashy brown, with SOME ashy blonde at the ends. She put so much blonde in my hair, all the way up to the crown of my head. Which was not what I wanted.. I was soo mad! By the time she started dying my roots, I had been there for 4 hours. And my scalp burned so bad from the bleach that the dye hurt me! Thats not okay. In all honesty my hair does not look bad, but it's also not what i wanted and it's horribly damaged. The ends of my hair all feel rough and crispy. I went immediately after and bought conditioning treatments and expensive shampoo and conditioner that was highly hydrating because I was so scared my hair was going to just start falling out from keeping in the bleach for so long, and then putting dye for another hour on top of that bleach.. I also bought the best purple shampoo I could find! Also, let's talk about the salon itself, it's gross. It's dirty in there and the hair products they use are stuff that you can find at WalMart... On the brightside I have learned a valuable lesson. I will never go to a hole in the wall salon again. It is not worth saving a little money when they completely wreck the quality of your hair. And honestly I paid like 250 or something like that... I could have paid just a little more and had a quality experience. I wasn't rude about it though. I blamed myself mostly for not knowing better. I paid the lady and left. And then she posts a picture on insta of my hair saying "5 hours of work later". Yeah lady, thats not cool! It only took that long because you were tending to everyone else that came through the door and trying to do my hair at the same time. It was such a strange experience.... But yeah my hair is naturally curly and it's been a month and my hair still hasn't bounced back. It's just frizzy and there's no longer any curl to it. I've had my hair bleached several times in my lifetime and i've never had such a bad experience, so I just wanted to give a fair warning.
