After having a couple of bad experiences in another place I lived, I'm extremely picky about my aesthetics injectors. Up until a few years ago, I did not realize that people without actual medical training are allowed to inject you with botulinumtoxin and other aesthetics. That's kinda scary if you think about it. I had called another place at the lake that was very evasive about who did their injections and whether there is any medical supervision on premises at all times, which is really sketchy and gave me red flags. I called c3 to ask if their injectors are medical professionals, and the woman who answered the phone happened to be one of their nurse injectors (can't remember her name now, sorry!) She was very friendly and understood my concerns and answered me openly and truthfully about their services and which people do certain procedures. She and Christal are both RNs with medical office experience and have been to master injector classes and do continuing ed for botulinum and fillers. Christal ended up doing my Botox a few days later. She's very friendly and was open about letting me see her fill the syringes. While she did the procedure, we had a short chat about some of the sketchy things people will do to cut corners and make profits at the expense of their clients. That's not happening at c3! I will be back when it's time for a touch up and am happy to find a reputable, honest med spa out here at the lake instead of having to drive all the way to the metroplex. read more

My husband and I tried the hydro massage bed and WOW! I feel like a million bucks. My husband and I were originally only going to do 20 minutes each but we both ended up doing 30. It feels great while you're on the bed but you feel ever better when you get off the bed and realize how relaxed your back feels! The heat lets it get in really deep. If you are looking for total body wellness I highly recommend Collin County Cryo. The staff is professional, friendly and makes you feel like a part of their family. The owner Holly is a registered nurse who takes the time to listen to clients queries and provide not just a response, but an in-depth explanation that is clear and easy to understand. She is very patient with additional follow up questions as well. She actually recommended against some services for my son and explained she could charge us and would like to make the extra money but that it was not necessary for him. Instead she gave us free advise for how to achieve his goals. I was grateful to find a location that cared more about the clients total body wellness and how to get there without trying to charge for unnecessary services. They also work with each clients budget to make it affordable for an individual or family. We have been going 3 times a week for a month and feel great. My personal energy level and mood have improved.I am sleeping longer and achieving REM sleep. I have been doing whole body Cryo, hydro massage and Normatec compression therapy. The Cryo machine can get really cold, but it only last for 3 minutes. The staff talks to you the entire time to keep your mind off the freezing temperatures. There are these nice plush robes to wear while in the Cryo room. All items you need to Cryo are provided and the staff makes things easy to understand. They also go through safety questions every time you step into the machine, even if you have head it multiple times before they still ask. This makes me feel safe about the entire process and make me feel the staff is concerned about my health each and every time I step into the chamber. Don't worry if you are short, as the machine is adjustable for varies heights. They hydro massage helps me relax and relieves stress. The machine is very easy to use with little to no instruction. You can go from head to toe or select targeted areas/sections of the body to massage. You can alternate area, pressure and speed during the entire session. I like that I am in control of my experience. The room is dark with a light blue light and I get so relaxed I have almost fallen a sleep a few times. They Normatec compression therapy can be used on multiple parts of the body. Have you ever been to the doctor and he uses a manual blood pressure cuff that squeezes your arm? Well it is like that and you choose the area. I have done my arms (shoulder to finger tips). It helps with blood flow to get it circulating better. I have also used it on my legs (hip to toe) and have noticed improvements in circulation as well as reducing water retention. My son has used whole body Cryo therapy, hydro massage, Normatec compression therapy and Celluma. He enjoys all of them. Being a year round athlete, we were looking for something to aide in his recovery time, especially since he has just rolled his ankle and was not able to play sports. Holly recommended Celluma to aide in targeted healing of his ankle he rolled during sports. He had done this a few years ago and it took what seemed like forever to feel better. As you get older it takes longer for your body to heal. He has noticed in just the short month receiving these treatments an important in not only his ankle but his whole body. There are multiple other services we have not tried yet, but are looking forward to experiencing them in the future. There are multiple ways to schedule a session from online, in person or calling. I just finished a Cryo T-Shock series and am absolutely impressed with the results! I'd even say it's better than CoolSculpting! Its 1/3 of the price from Ideal Image and 100% customized. They use what looks similar to an ultrasound wand over the area instead of a machine you try to shove ur stomach, or tricep or etc in and can switch from fat burning to toning to lymphatic drainage, to etc all in real time to make sure the area gets exactly what it needs. The service here is affordable and the staff is amazing! They make you feel like they are personally invested in you as a person. I have been coming here for a year off a recommendation of another friend and boy am I glad I did! They offer so much more than just cryo like LED light therapy, infrared suana, massage, etc. Packages available that cut down the cost even further. UPDATE: unfortunately instead of trying to own up to their mistakes and try to be better, they decided to make it personal, dismiss it and make inferences into my motivations. Like most Yelpers, I only review the great and the bad, so yes its either I love it or I hate it. So not sure why that argument is brought up other than to cast doubt on me as a person or my motivations...which is simply to help others avoid what I had to go through. I did complain about the money issue...which absolutely happened...more than once! I and my husband did leave several frustrated voices mails and texts about not being able to book. Which got a response of "what's up?" Via text. The decision to cancel was ONLY made after a month of issues and a late night text which was very unprofessional. I even had an appt the next day, as the person at the front desk during the times I went was really nice. After originally giving my 30 days notice, I did ask for early release as I no longer felt safe there after the text exchange with the owner. It's my truth no matter how much someone wants to cast doubt on me as a person. I did complain several times about the money issue. As for complaining about the owner to the owner...Why would I want to put myself into that type of conflict? I just wanted to get healthier and finish my contract with as little drama as possible....which unfortunately with this "family", the issues just kept on coming, no matter how much I tried to grin and bear it, to get the benefit from the equipment and finish off my contract. I cancelled because it just became too stressful. At the end of the day, they have my money, I have my learnings. I have screenshots of text message "receipts" if anyone wants to DM for more information. I will say that I did discover the magic of infrared sauna there and look forward to finding another place that will be professional with their communciation and not be haphazard with my bank account. ‐--‐‐-------------------------- An expensive mistake!! Pros: facility is easy to find and equipment seems to be clean and work well. We only used the infrared sauna, cryo and massage bed so can only speak to that. People are generally nice. Cons: Very unorganized. You can't sign up for sauna online, so you have to call or text to book an apt. They do not answer their phone most of the time and when texting you have to follow up a few times to get a response. I kept on getting asked about weight loss and diets at the front when I arrived. While I'm a larger person, being talked to by the front desk about my weight constantly was really disheartening, especially when I was there to embrace health. They also double charged us the first month, which was a huge hassle to get reversed and then they recently followed up via text during non business hours (8:00pm!) to say they forgot to charge us a fee last month and could they tack it on this month? Additionally, one of the co-owners and the medical profesional on staff demeans and talks negatively about her team. Again, not what you want to hear when you are trying to have a positive effect on your health and makes one wonder about what is being said about clients behind closed doors. While it has the tone of a joke, it is extremely unprofessional. The experience has been bad enough that while we are on the hook for paying for another month, we don't feel safe enough to go back. Our experience has been very frustrating. When you are trying to improve your health, especially during a pandemic, the last thing you need is incompetence with money, unprofessionalism and body shaming. I hope they take this as an opportunity to make things better for the future. read more

Collin County Cryo has been life-changing for me. Initially I was concerned about the membership costs, I was also worried that I would not have the opportunity to go as often as I wish because of traffic and distance from the Spa to my house. During the pandemic, I have found that access to therapies such as Cryo and sauna have helped significantly with my chronic pain issues. Holly, is accepting, kind and obsessive when it comes to keeping the place sparkling clean. She is such an encourager! I have always struggled with spas, I don't feel comfortable and often feel intimidated. At Collin County Cryo it is the very opposite. I am accepted just as I am (sometimes arriving in my worst yoga pants). One thing that makes this place very unique is how family-oriented it is. I often see moms with their young athletes as well as couples. It is one of the few spas that my husband is willing to visit without feeling embarrassed. If you have old bones like me and you are looking for improvements in terms of pain management without having to resort to medication this may be the perfect place for you. After a couple of years of using their services I feel I know them well enough to write a review with confidence in knowing that they are able to offer consistent quality and will not run away with my membership money (I actually had an experience like that with a massage place). read more

Cannot express how wonderful the staff at CCC are; helpful, kind and incredibly caring. The facility is very clean. I had never tried cryo before but after having done so it has changed my world. After experiencing some crazy health issues, one being with my knee, I sought out cryo just to see if I would receive any benefit from it and surprisingly I have. I can not recommend cryo enough for help with inflammation and even chronic pain.
