After reading all the great yelp reviews, I came by to get new tires. So here's my honest opinion... (1) Whoever said customer service was great, is on crack. He isn't the nicest person to speak with. Sounds rude and comes off being rude. BUT, i think it was becuase of the lack of english he spoke. (2) Price is great if you pay cash. DO NOT go to CA Tire!!! f there was negative star, I would give -5 stars. The owner overcharged the tire price almost $30 per each. After 2 weeks installing at CA Tire, I went to several other tire shops for my second car and found that the same tire could be installed $30 less than what I paid at CA Tire. I can live without $120 but hope there won't be victims like me anymore. read more

Seriously the best tire shop I've ever been to, they fixed my tire in 15 minutes and they didn't over charge. In the past, tire shops I went to always try to change my tire instead of fixing it. I didn't have an appointment so I drove up, parked, the guy came out immediately, asked what I needed and immediately started helping. I had a flat tire. First he tried to repair my tire, which was really nice of him. Unfortunately it couldn't be fixed (thank you Los Angeles potholes -_-) . Let me start by saying, this was an overall great experience at an affordable price! Found this place on Yelp, which happened to be four minutes away and saw it had other great reviews and decided to check it out. Pulled up and it was pretty dead, but saw a man sweeping outside. Drove up into the driveway, explained that my tire PSI was low and had a nail. He stared, nodded, and said "ok." He then went around and jacked up the car, then continued and finished sweeping. Tire issues always come at such inopportune times, and they always make me anxious since driving around could cause a leak to become a flat. I drove out my car at close to 5 PM and saw that horrifying tire pressure alert. I knew it was a leak, b/c I refilled my tire pressure yesterday. I called Chris, he told me to come right in even though they were closing soon. I've never seen someone so masterfully pop out and fix my tire in a matter of minutes. There was a nail embedded in my tire, and he patched it up before I could even reach for my wallet to pay. He also did this excellent repair job for only $20!! I'm so used to paying $40 - $60 for this kind of tire touch up, and waiting at least 2 hours. Chris has exceeded my expectations, and is a gem for tire repairs in Ktown. Man was smoking while putting air into our tires and was rude when we asked if he could check for nails. When we still had issues with the car he basically said "too bad" . He wasn't even using a meter to check the tires, he was lazy and just using the hose. Do not recommend. The best part is the gentleman at CA Tire asked me if I'd ever been shown how to tell when you need a new tire? Of course I had never been shown. He showed me the horizontal line underneath the treads. When the treads wear down to the horizontal line, you need a new tire! They get 5 stars on their service and honesty in my opinion.
