Bidwell Perk absolutely nailed it. Everyone working there was genuinely friendly and provided excellent customer service. They clearly use high-quality beans, and as someone who drinks coffee black and is admittedly a bit of a coffee snob, that matters. I also grabbed a ginger snap cookie, and it was everything I hoped for: perfectly gingery without being overpowering, soft, and wonderfully chewy. We were only there briefly (mostly due to the prompt service) since we were just passing through on our way home, but if we'd had more time, I would've happily lingered and enjoyed the space. I'll definitely stop here again the next time I'm in the area.

The coffee and food are good, but every visit seems to involve a long wait with very little sense of urgency. The staff always appear busy with their tasks, but the customer service feels lacking. I've been in several times now, and I've yet to be greeted with a smile. It just doesn't feel like a welcoming atmosphere. On my most recent visit, I ordered the classic breakfast bagel and asked if I could pay for extra bacon and have it cooked a little crispier. I was told no because the entire sandwich is toasted together. I was a little surprised there wasn't an effort to find another solution, like crisping the bacon separately before adding it to the sandwich. It seemed like a small request that could have made a big difference in the overall customer experience. I really want this place to succeed because it's such a great addition to the neighborhood, and I'll probably continue to stop by because it's so convenient. I just hope they can improve the customer service and make guests feel a little more valued.

They are premade & cooked in a microwave. The coffee was good, they have lots of choices of coffee based drinks. It's a brand new place with comfortable tables and chairs outside. I stood there for approximately 5-7 minutes without being acknowledged, greeted, or even told that someone would be with me shortly. Finally, I said, "Excuse me, is this still the line to order?" The employee, whose name I believe was Emil (or Amil), very coldly responded, "Yeah, but as you can see, I'm busy," while he was working with one of the coffee machines. I told him that he could have simply said, "Good morning," or acknowledged me. Instead, he shrugged his shoulders and showed no concern whatsoever about how I had been treated. As a woman of color in an environment where everyone else appeared to be white, I found the experience extremely uncomfortable and felt unwelcome. I cannot speak to his intentions, but the way I was treated made me question whether I was being treated differently because of my race. It would have taken two seconds to say, "Good morning, we'll be right with you." Instead, I was ignored for several minutes and then spoken to in a dismissive and unapologetic manner. Customer service and basic courtesy should apply to everyone. Unfortunately, this was a very unpleasant first experience, and I will not be returning.

My honey got the beef hash and it was delicious (yes i might have encouraged him order so I could try. I give it 5 stars so now i have to go back next weekend Noah and all the staff were wonderful as always. Definitely recommend.
