One of my new favorite DDD inspired visits. I always try to have the food that featured on the show as I feel that's what led Food Network there in the first place. While many DDD locations fall a bit short, this is not the case here. The food here was spectacular. We tried the Dragon potatoes and their house made cinnamon bread French toast. The Dragon potatoes were full of great flavors especially when combined with other items on the plate. You could almost scramble them all together and call it The Mess of Cortez. A nice piece of toast and this a meal for the day. The portions size was very shareable. The highlight was the French Toast. This was hands down the best French toast I've ever eaten. The flavors explode without being overwhelming. The bread was firm and not made soggy by the egg wash as is usually the case with French toast. Although firm, it was easily cut with just the edge of the your fork. While I did put a little maple syrup on the toast, it was not necessary. The Strawberry and raspberry puree lining the plate was all of the sweetness I needed. It was so good I asked for a little more, just because. This is a very cozy and welcoming restaurant with helpful friendly staff. One word of warning is they only take cash. I'm usually ready for this, as I find this more and more because credit card fees are outrageous and I'd rather pay cash than a 2-4% surcharge. BE PREPARED! They do have an ATM, but those are costly too. I'll be back!

Came here for brunch while visiting with a friend and they suggested this spot. There's lots of parking and from the outside the place did not look super busy but stepping inside almost all spots were full! We were sat quickly and took a few minutes to look over the menu. I ordered the breakfast sandwich. The bread was crispy and airy and the avocado and bacon were delicious. We loved the potatoes and how crunchy they were. Overall, I really enjoyed our meal and the restaurant was clean. I thought it was so cute that they sold their own t-shirts and mugs.

So good, so fresh, so fast! I've been coming here for years and they never disappoint. Today I had lunch. I chose the Lettuce Wrap and it was perfect! Tender seasoned chicken, delicious brown rice and the peanut sauce.... So good!

Came here Saturday morning with my boyfriend and his mom and it was busy, but we had the option to sit at the bar which sits 5 people. There is a parking lot, drive thru, and they only accept cash. Service was friendly! We ordered the Carnitas Quesadilla, French Toast, and 2+2+2(not pictured). Also got cafe con chocolate which was a hot drink served in a glass cup, house coffee, and iced coffee. My boyfriend and his mom have been here before but it was my first time. The food and drinks were really good, but the prices were pretty high. $3.50 for black coffee seems too much to me. I did enjoy the Cafe Con Chocolate tho and would order it again. Overall not sure if I'd come back for breakfast because I'm more of a chicken fried steak orderer, but if you're in the mood for French toast or pancakes, then this is your place!

Nowhere did we see nor was it ever said cash only. Would have been nice to prepare for that. Over priced for mid grade food.

We had lunch today at Sin of Cortez. Service was fantastic and I must say, the BEST BLT sandwich.

    Are they still cash only?

Cash or check. A sign on the cash register reads: "Cash or check only; sorry, no plastic." There is an ATM, just inside of the entrance, so you can withdraw cash.

Are they having to go orders?

They have a great drive-through that's the 1st thing I noticed when I arrived. Yes they are taking to go orders and always have. Wonderful place to eat great food.

I scoured the menu and was excited to find so many hash choices. I was moved by the Irish Burrito, but ordered Linda's omelette; while my daughter went with the eggs Benedict. In a town that takes its breakfast seriously, and where I've probably worked my way through more menus and reviews than I should admit, this one quietly climbed right to the top of my list. My omelette was exactly what you want when you order one. Fluffy without being dry, full of flavor without trying too hard, and cooked like someone in the kitchen actually cares about eggs. The ingredients were balanced and fresh, not just thrown together as filler. The hollandaise sauce was original, I couldn't find a lemon, cheese or any other overwhelming base, it stood out. The hash was perfect. My daughter's eggs Benedict looked like a postcard version of what that dish should be. Perfectly poached eggs, rich hollandaise that didn't feel heavy, and ham that actually tasted like ham instead of just salt delivery. One of those plates where you steal a bite "just to try it" and immediately understand the decision. The real surprise for me was the potato pancake I picked instead of the usual hashbrowns. Light, airy inside, crispy outside, and seasoned just right. Honestly one of the better breakfast potatoes I've had anywhere. If potatoes had a hall of fame, this one would at least get a nomination. The place itself has a warm, comfortable feel. Wood tones, rooster themes everywhere, a relaxed local energy where people look like regulars and first-timers feel welcome anyway. Service was friendly and efficient without feeling rushed. In a city full of strong breakfast spots, this might actually be my current favorite. That's not something I say lightly.

Perfect ambiance, not overstimulating, and space is nice and airy. It's my own ritual; I always order beignets, and they are consistently good, light and fluffy. Their hollandaise sauce tasted house made so I asked my server (Katie, amazing, 5 stars. Super personable and friendly) and sure enough I learned B Street is a scratch kitchen (absolutely everything is made in-house). IMPRESSIVE.
