Simple biscuit (egg, cheeze, tempeh bacon, biscuit). All vegan!!!

Great food. Tasty coffee! All vegan so no worries about getting any animal products by accident. Very friendly service. A family favorite for brunch.

Loved this place for the past two years! The food is really great and the ambiance is nice to go enjoy a book. The people who work there are friendly as well. However I'm a little disappointed as the last 5 times i've went my coffee has been burnt every time. It's sad to go to a place I love and get sour coffee. Great food though!

I've been searching for an all vegan coffee shop in Chico. Finally found one that has amazing coffee and great food options. I've been loving the vanilla latte with lavender syrup and their savory treats! The simple biscuit is delicious but wish it was a little bit bigger. Not to mention, their amazing customer service! My first time going there, they were so helpful. This place can get busy and the waiting time can be long but it's worth giving a try!

Grilled Cheez with basil and tomato

The three cheez grilled cheez was the best I have had in years! I brought my carnivore Mom and she said she loved it and will get again. I also bought a brownie , it was luxurious and rich. The people who served us were very nice. Little hiccup, we waited a very long time for our food. We think there was a mishap with the new person. Dude it happens , I hope she's okay. Didn't see her after hearing a crash. The ambiance is loud"ish" coffee house normal. Upbeat staff. Food was so, unexpectedly, good. I'm always concerned about feeding non-vegans vegan cheez . If you're vegan, you know it's not exactly the same as dairy cheese, this combination was gooey, comforting and delicious. Great job! I would have loved to have the tomato bisque but it wasn't selling in the hot weather . When I come back to town in September, I hope they have it. Sounds amazing.

Raspberry Almond Scone (top) and Blackberry Lemon Scone (bottom)

Vegan breakfast for the win!! I have such a hard time finding vegan breakfast foods, so this was a real treat!! We had two scones - blackberry lemon and raspberry almond. They were perfect - soft and crumbly, great flavor. Gosh, it was nice to eat a sweet treat like that without having to worry about my dairy allergy! We also shared the Southwest Burrito and The Classic sandwich. Both were delicious, but the sandwich blew me away. Great flavor combination, so creamy. I would definitely order that again! We also tried the Love Bug latte and a chai latte. I love that they use oat milk. Both drinks were great - not too sweet. Service was friendly, though a little slower than we're used to. We're on vacation so it didn't matter.

    Sweet little coffee shop

Hands-down one of Chico's neatest coffee shops! Chico is a city with a coffee option on nearly every corner. We love our Java. And I'm not just talking Starbucks, either - one can find myriad mom-n-pop shops all over. Few offer the charm that TLC does, though. This shop is in a cute older part of downtown, smack dab in the coveted Golden Triangle neighborhood. It's near a small theater and is only a few blocks from the Saturday morning farmers market. The sweet facade with its whimsical hand-painted signage and bistro tables called me in. The venue was warm and toasty on the cold winter morning I paid it a visit. The interior is just as charming with benches to sit and a long bar area to order. I ordered an americano and an amazing pastry which I believe was vegan. Both items were amazing and hit the spot. I look forward to coming back here again.

Spice grrl and simple biscuit. Both yummy

Nice little spot with a few tables in front and a dog friendly patio in back as well. Everything was tasty! We'll go back tomorrow to try more things!

I wish there were an option for a smaller version of the sweet dishes so you can get both! The staff members were friendly and the restaurant was clean. I wholeheartedly recommend this spot!

We started with drinks I got a chai latte and my friend got the watermelon refresher, both enjoyable. Next time I'll get it without the sprinkled cinnamon on top. I got the roasted potatoes with carnitas and eggs. The eggs were perfectly cooked over medium which is my favorite. The potatoes were beautifully roasted while soft on the inside. The pico de gallo also seemed fresh and flavorful. My friend got the chicken and waffles and felt the chicken was well seasoned and crunchy while still tender. We shared the bam bam waffle, it was very sweet, the black berry sauce was a good tart taste to balance out all the sugar. I will say that although the food was delicious and fresh, the price was a little higher than expected. An extra side of syrup was $2 more. A side of eggs(2) was $5. I shared the receipt. All and all I'm glad we stopped here on our way back to Sacramento. Great food.

I scoured the menu and was excited to find so many hash choices. I was moved by the Irish Burrito, but ordered Linda's omelette; while my daughter went with the eggs Benedict. In a town that takes its breakfast seriously, and where I've probably worked my way through more menus and reviews than I should admit, this one quietly climbed right to the top of my list. My omelette was exactly what you want when you order one. Fluffy without being dry, full of flavor without trying too hard, and cooked like someone in the kitchen actually cares about eggs. The ingredients were balanced and fresh, not just thrown together as filler. The hollandaise sauce was original, I couldn't find a lemon, cheese or any other overwhelming base, it stood out. The hash was perfect. My daughter's eggs Benedict looked like a postcard version of what that dish should be. Perfectly poached eggs, rich hollandaise that didn't feel heavy, and ham that actually tasted like ham instead of just salt delivery. One of those plates where you steal a bite "just to try it" and immediately understand the decision. The real surprise for me was the potato pancake I picked instead of the usual hashbrowns. Light, airy inside, crispy outside, and seasoned just right. Honestly one of the better breakfast potatoes I've had anywhere. If potatoes had a hall of fame, this one would at least get a nomination. The place itself has a warm, comfortable feel. Wood tones, rooster themes everywhere, a relaxed local energy where people look like regulars and first-timers feel welcome anyway. Service was friendly and efficient without feeling rushed. In a city full of strong breakfast spots, this might actually be my current favorite. That's not something I say lightly.
