We shared the bam bam waffle, it was very sweet, the black berry sauce was a good tart taste to balance out all the sugar. It's like they made it from canned tomato sauce. Disgusting! The soup wasn't the best. It tasted like they keep a single pot and add stuff to it every day. Re-heating and adding more to it every morning. I had to chase the server down and ask for it because she had forgotten to bring it out. Not good. I also had a strawberry milkshake. It tasted like vanilla ice milk and had some strawberry syrup drizzled on it for flavoring. When I stirred it in, the drink became slightly pink and had the slightest hint of strawberry. Not very thick either, but it was thick enough to collapse the super-cheap straws they use. I had to ask for water for my dog four times and when they brought some, it was in a plastic bucket that had been used as an ash tray. A specialty of the house are their "thin" pancakes. Crepe-like but not a crepe, it is a pancake and you can get them plain or blueberry, I recommend the blueberry but I'm partial to blueberries. I don't ever order pancakes EVER but, this caught my eye so I gave em a try. I order pancakes now. Well, I order pancakes at Debbie's. Parking can be an issue, they're a small place and parking is limited but thankfully you can park on the street if the lot is full. If you're traveling in this area, this is one of those local gems you definitely don't want to pass on.

Perfectly poached eggs, rich hollandaise that didn't feel heavy, and ham that actually tasted like ham instead of just salt delivery.
