This is a cute little coffee shop that we visited while we were in town waiting on our RV repair at Winnebago. I was happy to see that they had unsweetened almond milk, my husband ordered just a regular drip coffee, and we split a chocolate chip cookie. The place is really cute with a lot of variety of seating, including saddles at #1 high top table so your kids can act like they're riding a horse, lol. It's very country, country music and even some games for the kiddos. There was one large couch that would hold about four people, but otherwise the rest were wooden chairs. Wife and I ordered our own separate meal. Wife was unable to finish her soup and offered to split it with me. The manager scolded me and stated that they do not allow sharing. Was in disbelief to the point of never returning again. Noticed that we were the only customers in their coffee shop... Go figure. I came to Iowa to attend my graduation and of course I love to try out new things where ever I go. Cabin Coffee seemed like one of those places I really need to try out since their drive-thru was always busy every time I drove passed it. I now know why its always busy, they have excellent coffee and a great selection of food for breakfast! On top of that, customer service was excellent. They've got sweet baristas, very personable. You can also see their coffee collection through a window by the couches where you can play different games like mancala, apples to apples, jenga, and connect 4. They've got a little table for kids to sit at with toys and a mixing station. You'll have to ask for cream though, which I like because then it's cold when it's in my drink. If you go to caribou coffee their playlist reminds me of theirs. They have multiple of the same songs. They've got the good caramel not the fake syrup that doesn't change the color of the coffee. You know what I'm talkin' 'bout. The cold press is so good, I wish I asked which beans they used so I could make my own at home. Their bathroom is very clean and fits the theme of the rest of the coffee shop and the top of the mirror even says "hey good lookin". It's a cute spot and I wish I had one near where I lived. Remember coming here 2 years ago when our Motor Home was in for factory service. Liked it then but not today. Ordered an egg and cheese with bacon on a toasted bagel. The bagel was warm, but not toasted. Tasted like a doughy, brick. Could hardly find the cheese and bacon was soggy. My husband had the same thing on a croissant, soggy and salty he said. read more

Sweet family-owned coffee shop in a log cabin. There is a drive through and it is an easy stop to grab a coffee to go, but the log cabin decor makes it fun to sit for a spell and enjoy a cup-of-joe. Lots of blended drinks of flavor options. Truthfully, I like my coffee stronger but this gets five stars as the nicest coffee shop for miles around.
