The "cabin" was more of a beautifly decorated house with lots of room for three adults, but can serve 8 guests. Being able to take a 1 minute walk to lake and sit and watch a bald eagle and egrets dive for fish, and my sons being able to fish from the shore was an added perk. Loved the place. The owner was so thoughtful and helpful, it was the perfect vacation spot for our needs!!

She and her family joined us, along with our son and family for a total of 10 people. Set in a lovely location among the Ponderosa pines, with the Little Colorado burbling right outside our door. We were ecstatic until we went inside. The 2 story cabin was huge and roomy but it was filthy. Had they forgotten to clean it? I don't think so. It showed no upkeep for a very long time. The main, huge industrial size refrigerator in the kitchen stopped working the day after we arrived, and we had to put all our food in a much smaller refrigerator in the hall. Calls to Cabin Butler went unanswered. The dishwasher didn't clean at all. After some sleuthing, I discovered the dishwasher pods were hard as a rock and wouldn't dissolve at all. We bought new ones and it solved the issue. The stove's left front burner wasn't working at all. However, the biggest issue for me was there were no smoke alarms or CO2 detectors anywhere, despite this: Arizona law (A.R.S. 36-1637) says: Working smoke detectors must be properly maintained and installed in all residential rental properties, including every sleeping room, outside each separate sleeping area, and on every floor. Airbnb policy (this was an Airbnb) states that smoke alarms must be tested and functional. The other major concern was the clothes dryer was not vented to the outside. There was a large amount of lint in the back of the dryer and washer, and about 1 to 2" of lint in the dryer lint trap. Venting a standard clothes dryer indoors creates a severe, immediate fire hazard. Arizona mandates via the International Residential Code that vented clothes dryers be exhausted to the outside through adopted building and mechanical codes. I documented that with photos. Other issues: we couldn't lock the front door, there were no cleaning supplies whatsoever so we had no way to clean up after cooking and eating. No oven mitts, no utility knives or chef's knives. Inside of cupboards and drawers were filthy. Many light bulbs burned out. My daughter contacted Airbnb for a refund, but they said since they were not contacted until the day before we left they could only issue a refund of $18, a FRACTION of the rental. We had contacted Cabin Butler first as we were instructed to do if there was a problem, but never heard back. So it seems that our only recourse is to send reviews to appropriate sites to warn people, although I may contact Arizona's Apache County Planning and Zoning/Building Safety department.

The cabin I stayed in was comfortable with two beds, a fireplace which I used. It was so lovely having a fire going when it started to rain, hail and then magically snow. Sidenote: Magical was the themed feeling for this trip lol. The kitchen is a FULLY stocked kitchen with everything you would need to cook or bake with. I even found coffee for the coffeemaker! I relaxed by the fire and read to my hearts content. I love that you can bring your pet for a $35.00 charge. Well worth it to have my best buddy with me on my bday. FYI: You can buy wood for the fireplace at the Lazy Trout about four to five minutes drive from the cabin. Cannot wait to rebook a stay!!

The bed was very uncomfortable and less as nice as the main bedroom. It had some cleanliness issues as well. The owner was told of the cleanliness issues. The living room furniture needed some upgrading as well. Fireplace was nice. Wifi is provided. Overall the place is cute and just like the pictures.

The resort is off of the main strip through Show Low, Lakeside and Pinetop in a wooded and scenic area. My husband left our cranky toddler and I in the car while he checked us in only to be told in an unkind manner that I had to do the check in because my name is on the Groupon. I went in and check-in took about 10-15 min. due to instructions and descriptions of amenities (which are abundant). They have mini golf, pool, spa, fitness center, playground, horseshoe and bocce ball courts, propane grills all over (tools in cabins), a little train for kiddos to sit in, and games and movies to borrow from the reception center. They also have some spices and other kitchen amenities for you to borrow while cooking. There were family related activities (scavenger hunts, crafts, etc) planned throughout the week at the reception cabin. Everything at the resort is easily walkable and you can park directly in front of your cabin. The cabin itself is nicely updated and spacious with a perfect front porch seating area. Our initial reaction when we walked in was "wow. We would live here." The living room has a fireplace, pull out couch, rocking chair, beautiful skylights and a huge TV/DVD player and a zillion channels. The dining room table seats at least 6 and the large kitchen houses the washer/dryer, disposal, dishwasher, blender, toaster, coffee maker, and dishes, pans and utensils. Our trash can was full from the people before us but was emptied within 5 min after I called the reception cabin. Both bedrooms are large and also have the big Tv's and DVD players. Bedrooms and living rooms have nice ceiling fans and comfortable beds and pillows. We slept great. Cabin 19 must have a different mattress than the reviewer with a firm bed because ours was a perfect balance of soft but supported. The bathrooms were great with a huge jetted tub in the master bath. Our stay overall was comfortable and nice. The grills were easy to use and we took part in many of the other amenities as well. Aside from our initial check in, everyone was very kind, helpful and accommodating. Neighbors were friendly as well and the temp in July was in the 70's, thus everyone was outside. In town, Darbi's was tasty for mid-morning breakfast (and 15% off PVC discount) and Eddie's Country market was great for meat to grill.

Staff was very friendly and helpful with anything we could have needed. Grounds are well kept & clean, as are the activities. Cabin had a full kitchen, two full bathrooms, washer and dryer, bbq on the patio...you get it. Cabin was very nice and comfortably held seven of us. Was very near Pinetop and a slew of restaurants local stores. Safeway was a ten minute drive and Walmart was a 20 minute drive. Look forward to returning.

True to its name,…read morethere is a small pond right out back, and beautiful meadow and mountain views. 2 small bedrooms both with queen beds, a cozy living room and small kitchen with one bath, a deck and a large grassy back yard offer plenty of space for our small family to relax and enjoy the peace of Greer. I found the owner to be very communicative, and gracious. I received the code for the front door by email so we were able to get right into the cabin upon our arrival to Greer. Wifi worked great and while we didn't use it there is an appropriately sized flat screen for TV time, and large wood burning fireplace for the chilly nights. Also, we appreciated that there was a coffee maker and the pantry was already stocked with coffee. Finally, I asked not long after we arrived if we could have late checkout and the owner generously allowed us to stay until 2pm, which gave us Sunday to enjoy Greer and doing some scenic offroading before packing up and heading back to the valley. Really enjoyed our weekend here and would stay at Antler Ridge again.

Wife has bad asthma also we have a new born he was crying all night woke up with a heat rash. Called the next morning to see if the had a different Cabin with ac or a portable one I can rent to or even upgrade to a cabin that has ac. Also wife found a leaf and hair under the blanket of the bed bath towels smelled bad like it was never washed. We asked for a refund for the two night that's we weren't going to stay and moved to a different place. Lauren is a unhelpful caring person she'd told me to just deal with it. I wasn't going to risk my family health will never stay at one of their places again and will never recommended this place to anyone. Thank you Lauren for making our first time in Greer and staying in a Cabin so so wonderful we will away remember you and your great and caring customer service you really know how to take care of people !!!!! Word of advice customer is king and make your job and check possible!!!!!!! Dawn towels were not the biggest concern my son having a heat rush and not acting the same because of the heat and wife with asthma having trouble breathing. That would be a Health Concern to me Because you only have 2 fans in this cabin not even a ceiling fan. All I asked for with a different cabin or fan, probable ac unit that I can rent for the stay and you manger note showing worries or heart for your guest.

He made us feel welcomed and got us settled in our RV site. What we discovered is an amazing beautiful resort. The grounds are kept immaculate. The buildings are well maintained & have a rustic charm. Bathrooms/showers were very clean. Large laundry facility. They offer many activities you can get involved with and have a calendar of Special Events to keep you in the loop. Our early morning walk was quiet & peaceful. Juniper Ridge is an RV Resort 12 miles out of Show Low, Az. We had been wanting to see the resort…read moreso when friends who are working there called we went to see them and the park. The first building you come to after entering the drive to the park is where guests check in. Guests will get maps and other information for the park before even entering. The park has a guard gate with keypad for residents to open the gate. The buildings and grounds are beautiful. There is grass at each site and in common areas. They have many amenities such as a cafe, swimming pool, sauna, gardening area, wood shop, gym, weight room and golf course The sites are owned by residents with the RVs, park models or larger homes. Some are for sale by owner or real estate agencies. The prices are a bit higher than many parks because they will own the site, as well. I definitely recommend this park. It is lovely and everyone I met seemed happy with the park and people working there. Not everything is open (ex: cafe) because of covid-19 pandemic closures.
