Check-in was done at the lobby. At the lobby one will also find a store and a coffee shop. Complimentary movies and games can also be checked out at the lobby to enjoy back at your lodging. The store offers a little bit of everything, from clothing to snacks. Complimentary ice machines are available. Bagged ice can be purchased though. Lower-level parking is limited and was completely full in the evenings. We were lucky enough to get a parking spot every time we returned from playing. Wheel barrel type carts located at the gate make transporting luggage effortless to rooms. Adirondack chairs are scattered about the edge of the property to enjoy sipping a beverage, reading or admiring the view. A fire-pit, community BBQ, picnic area and kids play area help pass the time while on-site. The paly area is at the lobby end for those who do not wish to have quarters near noise. The cabin we were given was number 10, a handicap unit. The very first cabin upon entrance and the furthest from the lobby and play area. Our cabin was clean and well equipped. Snug Harbor provided us the peace that we were seeking at the time. My one suggestion would be to offer fresh baked chocolate chip cookies in the lobby to establish a more personal touch.

But here I am, still Yelping because I think I'm helping, haha. Yelp, the original business influencer site... let's hope Instagram & TikTok kids don't start making videos of all the businesses on here, they tend to ruin beautiful places. Either way, you read this long rant, thanks, I hope I made you laugh

To start, the bed and breakfast feels like you stepped out of reality and into the movie "The Holiday." It is cozy, quaint, and quiet in the best way. The rooms are smaller but equipped with what you need. In addition to the ambiance, the breakfast stands out as a highlight. From staying in other BnB's we expected danishes, coffee, etc. They far exceeded those expectations making easily the best quiche I've ever had, apple crumb cake, homemade rhubarb jam and butter and homemade focaccia. I woke up not hungry and ended up eating everything it was so delicious. My only regret of the weekend was booking an early ferry and not being able to enjoy breakfast the second morning. I hope to return one day!

The walking trail on site took you on a nice path along the tree line and the blackberry bushes were taller than me. Rooms were cute and very sound proof, we heard no one else when we were in the room. A cute farm store was there for some basic needs as well. Our hosts Emma and Wiley were so helpful and kind. Thanks for having us. We will return.

The room was large with a balcony looking out to the lake, mini fridge and a wet bar area. The view on the balcony was lovely but the walls that separate your balcony to your neighbors do not go all the way down. Because we stayed at the lodge, our stay came with breakfast. It was a continental style breakfast with freshly made omelet and potatoes. It was pretty good but the wait can be long. I recommend getting in as soon as they open. The stars from the breakfast were the pancakes and their in-house made granola. They had a pancake maker which made perfect little pancakes. And their granola! So delicious. Full of nuts and fruit pieces. They won't tell you the recipe but you can buy per pound to take home. Around the resort, there were lawn games you could play. Bikes, canoes, and pedal boats to borrow. There was a children's activity area and a general store which were closed when we went.

Spot was pretty right next to the lake. Although we ended up with a good spot we did not get to choose. It would be nice to be able to view open sites and pick which one you'd like. They had bathrooms and showers a short walk from the site so that was convenient. They are a little spendy though in my opinion. $60 for a camp site is a little steep. I'm used to paying $25ish for a spot in National parks, etc. I get it they have bikes and games included to use during your day so you do have more amenities. Overall a fun stay.
