Cabinet Cures transformed our boring 90's oak filled kitchen ugliness to a much more modern bright and beautiful space! We also had them do our laundry room and powder bath as part of our whole downstairs remodel. Jules really helped us through the whole process. We knew we wanted "light and airy" but she really helped us bring that to life with her assistance in choosing colors, counters, backsplash, and hardware...along with answering the million questions we had along the way as first time remodelers. She has a great eye for choosing things we liked and was so patient with us. As with any big project little bumps and issues came up but Jules and Cabinet Cures made sure everything was just the way we wanted. I would definitely recommend them to anyone with a refacing project!

I couldn't be happier with my kitchen thanks to Cabinet Cures. Julia and the installers were fabulous. Julia was very knowledgable and patient with all my questions. The installers were very professional and accommodating. Our project was done almost two years ago and looks like the day it was finished. The cabinets have held up amazingly and clean up so easily. I have highly recommended several friends to use them!

I LOVE Cabinet Cures of Portland. They totally transformed my dated, 80's kitchen into the kitchen of my dreams. From designer Julia, to installation, it was a fantastic experience and I've been overjoyed with the results. The quality of the cabinets is top notch and the finish is amazing. When the time is right, Cabinet Cures of Portland will also transform my master bathroom. I just think they're great and highly recommend them to all!

Totally on board. Except when you feel like you are paying a penalty in both time and finances by going that route. 2012 was the year we decided to upgrade multiple kitchen and bath fixtures in our house. There are several specialty shops in Portland with a wide range of items beyond what you can find at Lowe's and Home Depot, but I wanted to stick a little closer to home. I was very excited to find this showroom just blocks from I-5 and the store itself is lovely. I've never been an internet shopper and while I research the bejesus out of retail items [1], the actual purchase of anything significant only comes after the all important sniff test. Or in this case, the touch and see test. Especially when you are looking at various finishes, you really need to see these items in person. A good friend, who recently went through a kitchen and bath remodel, recommended ordering through an online site. But, I decided to be a good little local consumer and ordered roughly ten items over the course of six months here. And while some of the in person experiences were swell, the overall experience was not. First of all, they seem woefully out of date regarding communication. Any retail business not taking full advantage of the web in this day and age is really missing the boat. They do have a website, and it turns out there are eleven locations throughout the Pacific Northwest, but it is minimal at best. There is one link to an employee's email, but we had a series of miscommunications by email, phone and in person. Several employees work at the store, but rather than deal with just one person we had multiple contacts. Because we didn't have a simple order (multiple items, some were on back order, etc.), it never seemed like the person we talked to knew what was going on. And when I compared the price I paid to the on-line site, theirs wasn't as good. So throwing a few extra dollars their way ended up feeling like a really bad idea based on the poor customer service. By the end of the project, I was ordering from the other on-line website. A few clicks of the mouse and items would magically appear on my doorstep. Go figure! Because I will always feel the need to see before I buy, I'll still stop by here. But actually buy something from here... nope. [1] It took me roughly 18 mo. and two dozen test drives to select my latest car.

I hired ASD for a complex kitchen countertop and backsplash project after seeing their stunning backlit Crystallo stone installation in a Street of Dreams project. My project entailed a backlit island, multiple cutouts and a curved wall structure. From my first conversation with Marina, one of the owners, I knew I was in excellent hands. She was exceptionally customer-focused, providing multiple updated quotations as my project evolved and offering thoughtful guidance on stone selection and other design decisions. She was patient, knowledgeable, and never tired of my many questions. When I found my Crystallo Quartzite at MSI, Marina offered to pick it up and store it for m and held it for more than two years while I finalized my cabinetry and overall kitchen design. Throughout that time, she checked in kindly and never once showed frustration or impatience. She was absolutely wonderful to work with. ASD's fabrication team is among the best I have encountered. They beautifully fabricated the various pieces of my Crystallo Quartzite, which is an exceptionally delicate and translucent stone. Eduardo and Leo in the fabrication shop were outstanding. They took the time to provide samples, review templates, and patiently create multiple edge samples so I could make an informed decision. Eduardo was nearly ready to leave for the day when I asked for one more edge sample, and he graciously made it without hesitation. It is rare to find professionals who are so genuinely committed to customer satisfaction, and Eduardo exemplified that level of dedication. The installation crew was equally fantastic. They worked diligently, took great pride in their craftsmanship, and were fully invested in delivering the level of quality I was hoping for. Lim, the lead installer, was polite, friendly, and consistently positive throughout the process. The install crew including Juan, Geo, Ivan, and several others--put tremendous care into shaping the edges and polishing the seams to perfection on a very challenging quartzite. Their seam-polishing technique is truly world-class. ASD allowed them to take the time needed to perfect the results unlike other fabricators who rush through projects to maximize ROI. They stayed up late to clean and seal the stone thoroughly before they left. ASD also designed and installed my backlit island waterfall, and the final result is absolutely gorgeous. They artistically assembled slivers of the quartzite to cover my curved wall for a stunning look! Just as importantly, they stand behind their work and assured me they would be available if I noticed any issues after the installation was complete. I highly recommend Artistic Stone Design for any stone fabrication project. Their artistry, professionalism, patience, and commitment to quality are exceptional. I am also grateful to Alex and David for managing my project and seeing it through to completion.

Jake was meticulous and all of the rooms look great with no noticeable flaws. We designed the pattern\layout for the tile under the wood stove and Jake executed it perfectly. I enjoyed working with Jake because he listened to what we wanted, and provided his own ideas that fit into our design. In addition, he identified a few other issues along the way and helped us get them resolved. * A new roof cricket was previously installed by a roofer (not Jake) above the chimney for a decommissioned fireplace. This introduced a leak that Jake identified by noticing water damage in the subfloor and damaged drywall in front of the decommissioned fireplace. He fixed the leak in the cricket and replaced the damaged subfloor and drywall. * The frame for the existing crawlspace trapdoor was compromised/sagging. Jake rebuilt the frame. The trapdoor opens and shuts like a glove! * Moved a floor vent register that was oddly placed, to against the wall. I would definitely recommend!
