Ordered a piece of granite cut to size .. when we picked it up, brought it home & it was 2 inches too short ... took it back and asked for our money back .. they refused, we reported them to credit card co. and got a full refund. Initially when we went into the store, 3 employees behind counters just kept starring at their computers .. not a welcome or anything we had to actually ask for help ... not one of them even offered to help us. I could not be happier with my new countertops. I went to five other places in town and found that Stone an Cabinet Outlet had the best prices for the exact same products. I found all of the people that I worked with to be incredibly helpful they were very thoughtful about measurements and actually triple checked before making cuts. I am so Appreciative because they actually close the gap next to my oven and the counters look so much better than my last countertops! I will add pictures when I put in my tile but looking good! This Company has been a terrible experience both times I have had to deal with them. This last time was enough make me end up writing this review. My Clients paid them $3500 for these tops. The installers complained about having to do the prep work on the newly installed cabinets. Mind you that this was a complete kitchen remodel, down to the studs on walls and ceiling. A $30k venture. The slabs were four pieces and looked like they were cut with a full butter knife. There are chips along the seams. One Sean was uneven to another and you can gee it when you rub your finger across it. Please look at all the pictures and blow them up to observe the cut lines. Also look at the pieces and how they do NOT transition, at all. Looks horrible! The installers also chipped a brand new upper cabinet and part of the brand new plank flooring. I am beyond ticked off. I recommend you AVOIDING this Company at all costs. read more

Have done a couple remodels using their cabinets and counters. Great selection of stock cabinets finishes and sizes to accommodate most spaces. Really appreciate that the cabinets are made from solid wood and plywood construction as opposed to particle board that you'd find elsewhere. The good: fantastic selection of granite slabs in lots of colors. I purchased 2 eight foot sections of 3cm thick granite with installation for $1282. Really can't beat that. The last place I considered was over $2k just for the materials. The bad: one of the installers barely spoke any English. We were able to communicate on a basic level throughout the installation process at least. The ugly: my floors and stairs were completely covered in the wet saw mud from the cutting process when they left. An entire section of my succulents on the side of my driveway (which were entirely out of the path of their work space) were also completely trampled when they left. The moral of the story here is that you are paying for very affordable granite and installation. If you are needing white glove service, this is not the place for you. I would recommend putting down cardboard or some other floor covering if you have nice floors. Mine were in not so great shape after the installers left. Overall, I would use them again however. read more

I wanted to upgrade my existing plastic laminate countertops in two bathrooms and the kitchen. This place had the best price by far. The only problems were with customer service and dealing with the installation crew. First, when we went in there to talk to them and take a look at the granite it was like going into the DMV. There were two ladies, one of which was busy helping another customer, and the other seemingly too occupied with other office tasks to talk to me about options. I waited and was eventually given a quote. The quote was incorrect. It did not include removal and disposal of the existing countertops. It did not include backsplash. And when I asked about how the undermount sinks were going to be supported, they could not intelligently answer the question. The deposit was 80%. But like I said earlier, the price was much cheaper than the other prices I got, so I went with it understanding that I would have to manage the process until completion. The installation crew barely spoke English, left a mess, and had to be supervised. One of the tops came out too large with a bigger overhang on one side of the sink. They didn't understand that I needed at least one working sink throughout the process. They were going to leave one of the backsplashes uncaulked, claiming that the wall was a problem. They wouldn't set any fixtures. I also had my favorite pocket knife go missing. Bottom line: cheap, but a PITA to work with, and keep an eye on your stuff. read more

Nice showroom and decent selection if you're just looking for ordinary stuff. Products seem to be very run of the mill, mediocre quality. Showed the guy my plans and he gave me almost no feedback. Told him we'd like one extra tall cupboard that sits on the counter but is the same height as the other cupboards, to hold our dishes and glasses. He immediately told me that we'll have to get custom cabinets for the entire space...and that they only carry 'regular cabinets'. I've seen that type of cabinet other places so I know they don't have to be custom made. Basically, he had no interest in the job. read more

I had purchased granite countertop and their granite had many cracks filled with epoxy. Told them about their granite quality and they said all granites have defects, and we're not willing to replace it. Later I talked with Home Depot and Lowes, they said that their granites don't have any cracks like that, and that they must have sold the bad quality/reject granites that they buy it cheap and then fill it in. I am not at all happy with it after spending about $2000 on their granite countertops. I bought from them because my installer recommend them. I would not buy again from them. I would rather pay a bit more and buy from a good reliable store that gives warranty on their products. read more

Went here for a bathroom remodel. Totally regret not finding them for the last two house remodels. I've been to probably a dozen granite shops around pdx over the last 7 yrs for bids. This place by far had the most selection, great prices, and good service. Even better the guy let me walk back into the warehouse to actually pick my slabs once I decided on the color. Then you are not surprised by diff from the sample or natural imperfections. Install was incredibly cheap and well done. I couldn't understand what he was saying, but know he fixed some of my cabinet installation I screwed up prior to his counter install. KEEP IN MIND: this is "budget" granite. 2cm thick and minor imperfections compared to the 3cm Home Depot stuff that actually comes straight from precision countertops. BUT it's less than half the price and NOBODY except a counter contractor will know the difference! read more

The prices are great, my counter tops and cabinets are great. The customer service and installation crew is terrible. The 2 man installation team did not wear masks, I could not understand them, they chipped and gouged my new sheet rock banging the cabinets on my walls and ceiling. I shut my bathroom door everyday and when I came home there was pee on my toilet and floor! One of these men tried to order me to answer him now in my house lol he's lucky I just wanted my cabinets done! Mis-measured 2 cabinets and drawers, and because of this I had to shrink those cabinets by 12 inches. There's gaps at the top of my cabinets where they meet the ceiling. Another cabinet needed a "finished" backside because it used to have sheet rock behind it but we demolished that sheet rock. So instead of giving me a heads up about the $300 cost they said nothing! They also tried to charge me for the cabinets they mis-measured! I cut my losses and they did too, I paid them $72 of the $300+ they never fixed the paint and sheet rock and I'm fine with that cuz I never want to deal with them again! Maybe get the cabinets and countertops and have someone else install them. $9k in cabinets and countertops looks like $5k! Garbage read more

The price was good and the finished product looks nice. They did not cut my backsplash to accommodate the farmhouse sink that I own (was available to them for measurements and such) so it hangs over the edge of the cabinet in front and exposes the under side of the sink. A little notching of the backsplash would have corrected that problem. They seem to have little regard for customer service and seemed annoyed when I came into the store or called them. If you can afford to go elsewhere for a better experience I would do that. read more
