While I'm waiting, I start wandering the aisles and accidentally pass the toilet section. Suddenly... the toilet lids start opening. On their own. No warning. Just a row of toilets waking up like I triggered some kind of porcelain Jurassic Park. I don't know if these are the same Japanese toilets from South Park, but I immediately understood why people talk about them like they're luxury vehicles. I half expected one to greet me with: "Welcome back, sir. Your throne is ready." Unlike the South Park episode, no one handed me champagne and the toilet didn't start playing music, which honestly felt like a missed opportunity... then again, maybe the champagne only comes after your first test run. Anyway, back to my story. Gus reappears from the back holding a single cartridge and goes, "This one should work." I take it home, pop it in, and just like that... the tub stops leaking. Gus came in CLUTCH. Some heroes wear capes. Some heroes disappear into the plumbing aisle for 10 minutes and come back with the exact $35 dollar piece that saves your sanity.

Absolutely terrible experience at Home Decor in Woodland Hills today. I went in to buy a tile…read morecutter and the item was locked in a cage. I asked FOUR different employees for help while standing there waiting. The Pro Service department was literally right across from the tile cutters and multiple workers saw me standing there. One slimmer employee with a beard acted like he was going to help, then walked around me and went over to Nelly instead of actually assisting me. It honestly felt like they were more focused on flirting and talking to each other than helping customers. Nelly kept peeking her head around the Pro Service area watching me wait and still chose not to help. I stood there for around 10 minutes waiting just to get someone to unlock a simple item. The only reason I finally got helped was because a very nice manager happened to walk by and stepped in. To make things worse, when Nelly finally rang me up she was rude the entire time. Instead of handing me the receipt professionally, she just told me "grab your receipt" while it printed out. No customer service, no apology, nothing. The manager was the only good part of the entire experience. Everyone else acted annoyed that they had to do their job. Definitely one of the worst customer service experiences I've had in a long time.
