I was told the tile I was buying was from Italy and that it was one of the best ones. Found out it was from China and bad quality. Lying to get more money. Scammers! One week later the tile that was installed crack out of no where. Bad quality tile. And now they don't even want to take my call. read more

I met with Sergio and his wife who own and operate the business. They were so helpful in helping me pick out tiles which flowed wonderfully with the design I was looking for and then explained to me the strengths and weaknesses of each material option so that I could make an informed decision. The owners are quite helpful, not mention personable. I did not have a lot of money to spend because my first contractors were scammers and messed up my bathroom. But my friend recommended The Tile Store and they helped me select attractive tiles, in my color scheme, that were budget-friendly. Then their crew installed the shower wall tiles, shower floor tiles, and bathroom floor tile. It looks GREAT!!! We just finished A fantastic bathroom renovation .. we've been in New York working & are new to The valley and retired ..so we have plenty of time to look for tile! I got all the best samples and I thought the best prices from a few really big tile stores! And...I thought it'd be great to go to a small business.. so I heard gr8 things about JC Designs in Tarzana.. my husband and I couldn't be happier! Joanna was so adorable helping us with our accent tile! They had to import it twice from New York! At No additional price for us! And then We brought in all the tile that we were going to use ...and she and her adorable husband Serg found everyone of the tiles we used at a MUCH better price ... so we were so grateful! We had four tiles all together and they kept in touch with me..To make sure that the tiles would be there ready for the contractors! They were always reassuring me with texts and phone calls to let me know everything would be ready! The New Contractor ... Preferred Home Builders changed the design ..and we needed more accent tile ..and JC Designs were adorable in easing my mind.. and making sure New York sent it that afternoon ..so that the job would not have a break in it!
