We received very poor customer service from Sam and the owner, Mike. After multiple calls and emails to correct a mistake they made with our crown molding costing us over $2500, they have been unwilling to refund what I paid for the molding and insist on me buying more at cost ($1250) after I already paid them initially. There were also errors with an oak trim piece (3" wide instead of 5") for my range hood and incorrect drawer fronts on our island that do not match the other wall cabinets. The cabinet touch-up kit has items missing and an incorrect color touch up so I have no way to fill nail holes on the trim. They have said these were their errors and that they would re-order the pieces, but they have yet to do so. I would hesitate to trust them if you are considering doing a kitchen design as it is simply not worth the risk and months of delay due to missing/incorrect items. Please look at their reviews as most of the high rated reviews are made up profiles with one or only a handful of reviews. Buyer beware. [Update, I just noticed the owner posted a reply today stating they warned against this crown molding and that is simply not true, in fact, I wanted two-stage crown and they advised against it since I was going with 39" cabinets. He also states that he would still like to help complete the job to my liking and to call him, but I can assure you that we talked twice this week including yesterday afternoon and he refused to refund even just the cost of my crown molding unless I buy more from him. This is no longer an option as I have already spent hours making custom crown and getting paint matched for the trim. He said at the end of the call the "we're done" so not sure why he posted this today. We have not received the 5" oak trim board, missing touch-up items, or corrected drawer fronts. Went to look at cabinets yesterday-minimal staff wearing face covers upon entering. Even after seeing us, multiple staff members did NOT put on face coverings. This business clearly does not have the health of their customers and staff as a priority. Will NOT return, even after pandemic. read more

I'm surprised to read the previous negative review for this company. I didn't let it stop me from calling to inquire if they require a non-refundable deposit for a quote and design. (as stated by previous reviewer) Glad I called. Allison answered the phone and won me over. She assured me that Cabinet Factory only requires payment if you want to take their custom design out of their shop. This is standard for any cabinet design company. She also informed me that the sales people don't work on commission, so I could come in and talk to anyone who was available. This was good to know. For me it meant that they weren't going to be pushy, and they weren't. It also meant that on a day I wanted to visit or call and my sales person wasn't there, I could speak to anyone because my project was shared information. I met with Jeanette initially and she listened to me talk about my project. She came up with a design for me based on measurements provided by my contractor, and showed me a variety of samples. There was no pressure to pay her for the designs. Over the next several weeks, Jeanette worked with me to narrow down exactly what I wanted - and helped me find the brand that fit within my budget with the colors and material I was looking for. Speaking of budget, I did shop around before choosing Cabinet Factory. They are not only competitive, they are affordable. I can't say that for other companies I looked at. In fact two other cabinet places were much more expensive for much lower quality cabinets without as many bells and whistles. Over the course of a few weeks that it took to make up my mind, I worked with Jeanette, Mike and Allison. I highly recommend Cabinet Factory. Best experience ever when buying an island for our kitchen. After going to Home Depot and they wouldn't help and then trying Lowes and they would not help we went to the Cabimet Factory. Within 15 minutes they had it all planned out, the type of island we wanted and it was ordered. Within a week the cabinet was in their store. Two gentlemen delivered the island and had the islant in place within 2 hours. We had an excellent experience and will be telling friends and neighbors where to purchase kitchen cabinets. Ordered cabinets from this place and they made an error on one of my cabinets (came in wrong color). Was told that it would be two weeks, well I am still waiting over 5 weeks later. It was their error and they could care less. I actually went into the store to ask about getting my cabinet, was told I would receive a call later that day........still waiting weeks later. They could care less about the customer! Do not waste your time or money on cabinets here! My kitchen is still torn up and a mess and I'm still waiting on my cabinet! read more

Cabinet factory helped us design our kitchen. They ordered everything for us (and corrected any mistakes quickly and without additional cost). We installed ourselves and yet they continued to be helpful with anything we needed. To top it off, it has been 2 years and they just replaced a door with no charge that the paint had begun to peel off. People are extremely friendly and helpful. read more

Technically, this place sells cabinets. But I'm not sure how they really sell with the grumpy staff they have there. You immediately are made to feel like your bothering the employees by asking questions. Even the attitudinal follow up phone calls stink. The quote I got was $1,400 more than down the street from them and I genuinely didn't want to give them my money after that experience. He screamed at me and said, "what do you want me to do" when they were distributors for the cabinets they sold me. He told me to call the manufacturer myself. Don't give this business any money upfront. I ordered a small countertop from their warehouse store. I ordered a gray countertop, and said that, if they didn't have gray, I'd be happy with white, but I did not want charcoal gray or black. After I paid in advance, they delivered a speckled gray-white-black countertop that looked like some kind of 80s fake granite. It was dotted. Of course, it didn't match my floor so I had to pay another countertop company to resurface it. Mike of Cabinet Factory refused to take it back and give me a refund. He also refused to resurface it unless I paid the entire amount he charged to build it and cover it. So he was trying to charge me for the entire thing just to get the color I originally ordered. Buyer beware at this place. If I hadn't been lucky enough to find acompany that gave me the gray color I ordered for less money than Cabinet Factory charged, I would have been stuck with Cabinet Factory's throwback countertop. . read more

I agree with the guys posting negative comments. from what I read on these reviews, I wish I read them before I went. This place is the pits. When I arrived I inquired about a dishwasher end panel. The guy who was "helping" me actually did act like I was bothering him or interrupting him from something he rather be doing. I pushed that aside thinking it was toward the end of the day so maybe he was tired and grumpy. I ordered a simple dish washer end panel. When he told me i needed to leave a deposit, i asked him plain and clearly "how long will it take to come in", he said "7-10 days" It has now been 3 1/2 weeks and I have nothing. I didn't hear a word from them. Then I called and was told it was on the UPS truck and being delivered today. (that was Tuesday). Today I called, and now they said they "can't find it", that UPS said it was delivered to the warehouse but the people in the warehouse "can't find it" all along they talked to me like it was no big deal and could not comprehend why I was annoyed. While I was also in their shop I was looking at the Quartz countertops because I have to get some. I talked to the sales guy, he gave me some sketchy pricing structure, but I did like the look of the Quartz they had. I was going to go back and order the countertops when I picked up the end panel. Now, I think I will go elsewhere. If they can't deliver on a DW end panel I can just imagine what it would be like to order the other. The ONLY good thing from all this mess is that I used a credit card for the purchase of the DW end panel. Now I can go back and reverse the charges for "failure to receive the goods ordered" pursuant to the Fair Credit Billing Act. From my experience, these people suck and people should keep clear of them. There are other cabinet companies around that actually would like your business and make you feel like they want it. read more
