Horrible cabinets. The cabinets are not flush with the ground and the spacing between them is wide at the top and narrow at the bottom. It looks as if a toddler put them in. I have contacted the company and am awaiting a response. I have attached pictures to show how off the Cabinets are from our floor. Also, our walls were scratched up during installation. read more

BEWARE! Kaitlyn is wonderful, and I have purchased vanities from her before, but the most recent one purchased had a hard-to-remove, blob of cemented glue (from the counter top install, I assume) that I could not remove without damaging the already installed cabinet. When I contacted her, there was no desire to resolve and she blamed me for installing the cabinet. I will not purchase additional cabinets from Kaitlyn ever again. Cabinet world did an amazing job installing our quartz countertops! Wen and everyone helping him were awesome and helpful through the whole process. The purchasing of the quartz at a very good price and the scheduling of the install were made easy by everyone there. For install day, they did a fantastic job making sure all the pieces were installed perfectly. Would highly recommend them for any and all products they provide. And as a bonus we also purchased our vanity through them and they cut the holes for the sink the same day and we took it home, all within about 30 minutes. Me & my wife just finished visiting this Cabinet World and we have never dealt with anyone so rude. The Asian lady was not willing to help us when we asked her some questions about the cabinets. She said go home, look for the brand of the cabinet and order it yourself somewhere else. Not willing to offer any alternative. Poor salesmanship surprisingly this business is still open. When buying our new kitchen cabinets during COVID-19 we felt safe (masks, hand sanitizer, even gloves offered too while I was looking around) and well cared for. Kaitlyn listened to what we wanted and helped us plan our kitchen down to the last detail on a computer. She is great with numbers and visualizing space. There was a large screen on the wall for us to see what she had planned using our ideas. Kaitlyn helped us create spaces that were visually pleasing and had a lot of storage. These cabinets are made of wood, not chipwood! They were the only place that had cabinets ready quickly for our work. The price included delivery. We had one cabinet that had a tiny little scratch and she replaced that door kindly without question immediately. We LOVE our cabinets in our new kitchen and highly recommend Cabinet World! Bathroom makeover. Replaced my old vanity with a new one. Cabinet World has a wonderful style selection of real wood cabinets in a variety of colors and offers all the needed accessories, faucets and handles. Various basin designs are available in store or can be ordered. The stone countertop selection is very nice. I chose Cabinet World because they had countertop remnants so I was able to buy a custom finished 38" stone vanity top w/back splash (instead of having to buy a full 10' slab). Everything was reasonably priced. Kaitlyn and Wen are wonderful to work with. They listened to what I wanted and provided me a wonderful new look in my bathroom. read more

We had been shopping for kitchen cabinets for months & accidentally stumbled on this cabinet store almost too late. We were 99% certain of our choice to go with other cabinets before we found this store. Cabinetry World is directly across the street from Lowes on Bayshore......we saw their sign when we were pulling out from the Lowes parking lot. I highly recommend you work with Sophia...there is another girl who works there, but I found her to be less helpful. Not only did I find cabinets here that I liked, for the price, far better than any other cabinet shop, Sophia was amazingly helpful. After taking delivery we needed to exchange a few cabinet sizes, it was absolutely no problem. The delivery guy Phillip is also super helpful. I know that if I need help in the future, they will do their best to help me. We purchased the M5 Cherry cabinets. The doors are a modified shaker design. Their cabinets are plywood boxes, drawers are dove tailed, price includes the handles & the cabinet are priced incredibly well. If you are looking at other shops on Bayshore/in Bayview, I HIGHLY recommend you stop in here. These cabinets are made in China, but I feel the highest quality we saw & best pricing. I like the kitchen and bathroom cabinets and countertops I purchased but they are not the manufacturer and I did not use them for installation. I guess I paid a penalty for that. I don't know the names of the people I dealt with but they were the polar opposites of the people the other reviewers dealt with. Ordering the cabinets took a long time because they were very slow with using the layout software. We were designing a large kitchen but it should not have taken over an hour. At this point, they were pleasant enough. After they got my deposit, things changed. We made some adjustments to the designs, which increased the cost of our kitchen, but that didn't make them any easier to deal with. I wish whoever had helped the other reviewers had helped me. Instead, I had a guy who kept yelling at me when I could not understand what he was saying. I had to ask him to calm down several times because his yelling was getting us nowhere. I tried getting him to write what he needed from me, but it was illegible. There was a woman there who spoke decent English but she did not come downstairs until 30 minutes into that ordeal. I know she heard that man yelling. All I needed was to order a larger countertop. It shouldn't have been so difficult. So, I like my cabinets, but I would never deal with this place again. We have another kitchen and bathroom to renovate, and I had hoped I'd found one vendor to deal with, but nope. read more

home depot rough estimated 9k ... i assumed it would cost 7k due to less upper cabinets then in their rough estimate. SOPHIA was a find!!! i went in and she gave me all my options. and a print out of measurement and graphic of the look complete in 20 minutes. of course i picked the upgrade wood, full extend, soft close with side finishing, crown molding... (and with my 33%? to be negocaited) CASH discount... it was $2700 out the door.(instead or 9k or 7k) beautiful creme antique- ready in 1 wk.(faster then home depot) there were some cabinets that were back ordered... they let us know when they were ordered. (sorry for typos- i just wantedd to leave a review) ASK FOR SOPHIA, SHE IS ON IT! everthing run like clock work. ps some cabinet are stiff to open. hand adjusted hardware i have used was bars in the past for smooth openings. RUN DON'T WALK AWAY FROM CABINET WORLD !!! I met with Judith the designer from Cabinet World and was really excited to have custom cabinets for my laundry room. She was very nice. She wrote up a design I asked her several questions and was assured everything would be fine. I called her with additional questions but after she gave her my deposit to move forward she did not return my calls to address questions regarding a cabinet that ended up being a major problem. I waited 2 months to have them installed. On the day of installation within minutes of arrival the installers informed me and showed me the measurements for the cabinets were not going to work. I would not be able to open my backdoor or the door leading to the laundry room both fire safety risk. Clearly Judith's measurements were COMPLETELY wrong on every level. The installer's manager was called me after I called him twice and after his installer left my house to tell me the cabinets won't fit! Really, I know that! And he instantly said I will refund your money! Wait a minute what happened to them making this right. After I patiently waited for this installation! He had no intention of making this right, NOT a single offer to make this right. After questioning him on this he said, well I could send my installer back to measure? An installer might be able to measure correctly but he's not going to be able to redesign cabinets to meet my specific needs and make it look professional!!! He didn't offer to have another designer redo the project correctly. Are installer now serving as designers too? In fact, he said he didn't know the designer. So that tells you this is a unprofessional fragmented company. What a nightmare, a total waste of time, money and energy. I am taking the refund and will look for a local cabinet design company that takes pride in their business. FYI. I see why Judith showed me a catalog not samples of the wood because the wood is cheap looking plywood with thin plastic veneer. Maybe, unknowingly she did me a favor. I purchased vanities for all 3 of my bathrooms at Cabinet World. I shopped around extensively at different vendors in the Bayshore area, and I found their selection and quality to be the strongest by far. I especially appreciated the fantastic customer service Kaitlyn provided (note: customer service is usually horrible at most of the Bayshore home improvement stores!). However, Kaitlyn was patient with me, helped me think through design and weigh price vs. aesthetic trade-offs in my rental property. I am disgusted by this place. We ordered a kitchen cabinet and received the wrong color. We talked to the woman who works there (who, from the beginning, was nasty) and she informed us that we could return it. We drove the cabinet back, she promised us a full refund. She then proceeded to scam us, telling us that we can't return the cabinet. It was a 2 hour ordeal, but we refused to leave. She ended up giving a partial refund, NOT the whole thing, even though it was entirely their fault. Again, I'm disgusted. DO NOT shop here. You will be ripped off and disrespected. read more

This is the time where I wish yelp had a negative star option. Do not trust anything from this place. The quality is terrible (you get what you pay for), but whats worse is their shady practices and customer service. We picked out an item from their showroom and they ordered it for us. What we received was a different color, (we only realized this when the item was already at home). When we brought it back to return the very rude lady in the front did not want to accept saying that there is a "no return policy". Then she said that she will accept but charge us 25% return fee + 6% transaction fee! We were charged $ for bringing back a wrongly delivered/ordered item and wasting our time in the process. Avoid at all costs, there are plenty of great cabinet and furniture stores in the city that will not try to defraud you for a every nickel a dime in our case ($150+). read more

I highly recommend Cabinetry World if you are re-modeling a kitchen or bath on a budget. The cabinets, countertops, and tiles are great looking at very competitive prices. I recently renovated an eight unit property and spent countless hours researching cabinet and countertop suppliers. Though I initially made the decision to go with Cabinetry World because of price, I have been extremely impressed with the high level of customer service throughout the entire project. CiCi, Sophia, and Wen are really good people and have been terrific to work with from the start to finish. As someone in the construction business, it is not always easy to find companies who actually do what they say they are going to do. I truly appreciated the way CiCi and the others patiently worked with me as a customer to meet my project timeframes and address any issues that arose, My overall experience -- on both supplying cabinets for 8 kitchens as well as installing countertops and fireplace surrounds -- has far exceeded my expectations and I would certainly work with the company again! read more
