We had been working with small local Cabinet maker. Experience was horrible and had to fire him mid project. We shopped around and decided to drive 2 hours to Cabinet to Go Showroom in Plano Texas. Worked with Tracy who was very knowledgable and helpful. Before our trip I had sent her measurements and she had sent a design and Quote. We had given her some wrong measurements so she made the adjustments and we swapped out some base cabinets. The price was good the Delivery timeframe was awesome. We liked the Quality of the cabinets and hardware so We place the order. We went with the Malibu White cabinets. Tracy advised us our order Qualified for free home Delivery. This was nice due to the 100 miles each way to the store. The cabinets were delivered by a team of knowledgeable drivers and placed the pallets in our garage. We had one Item that was Broken ( the front Face of Refrigerator side Panel. I placed one call to on Monday t the 800 number and a replacement side panel kit was delivered 4 days later by Fed-EX. They did not request the Bad part and apologized for the issue. Cabinet assembly was very Easy Watched the Video on lazy susan. I was impressed that cabinets came with Screws to attach to the wall. We did use Kreg Drill bit and Screws to join Face Frames together. Cabinets look Great and soft close Features work Great. Thanks Tracy read more

If I want to put my cabinets together, I would go to IKEA, they are probably the same ones just 1/3 the price. Home Depot has same quality already put together for a lot cheaper. I received them and all were damaged in the same spot. I returned them and was charged a restocking fee for damaged goods. Makes me wonder if they are just going to sell them to another sucker. I stressed the importance of needing cabinets quickly. I selected a cabinet line I was promised would be delivered 2 weeks after order was placed. Later when they were scheduling delivery in Dec 2021, I was told some of my cabinets were on backorder by the Waco warehouse and lied to being told I'd be charged a 15% restocking fee if I didn't accept partial delivery. Mid January I call for an update, and told the cabinets are listed to be available in April and there was nothing they could do. I suggested if we could swap those cabinets with others that were in stock. The salesperson said that wasn't a problem. I'm frustrated I needed to take the initiative to move this order forward. After the cabinets were delivered in February, during assembly, not all the pieces were in the box for my 8 foot panty. There were other issues specific to this line of cabinets that if I had known, might have chosen other options. Anyways, I was directed to contact customer service for further issues instead of the local showroom. That's where the nightmare got worse. CS told me the missing instructions were available online, and the missing pieces, including the 8 foot side panel would be delivered to the store and I had pick up there since I didn't originally pay for delivery. My small car won't fit an 8x2 foot panel. My problem to resolve... again. Later I received an email from CS the 8 foot side panel wasn't in stock with ETA unknown. I was livid... did I order the last 8 foot pantry? Afterwards, Gloria with CS told me my issue was escalated to "urgent" and they would pull from another box the missing pieces. Again, I had to take initiative to progress this. Its now March 2022, I'm still waiting for all my pieces. I've had to explain my situation several times. James with CS told it's being taking care of but then when I called back... nothing. The company, apparently doesn't keep a record of when a customer calls. All these headaches and the company is unwilling to offer any discounts off my purchase because delays aren't their problem, per the small print. It's been 4 weeks since Gloria with CS was made aware of my missing pieces. I'm not even sure if "Gloria" is a real person or just a generic email that several people access because I've had to restate the issue several times to "Gloria". I'm told "I'm sorry, I'm still working towards a solution." Yet I still don't have my cabinets. Avoid dealing with Cabinets to Go, unless you're willing to make concessions and deal with any issues that may come up. read more

The whole operation at CTG is incompetent. We had to request our invoice after paying 3 times for a week before finally getting an invoice. The sales department under measured the crown so we had to go back. They insisted it wasn't their fault and our contractor wasted to much. Our contractor gave us the waste, and it all fit into our hand because there wasn't any waste. Assembling the cabinets we found a defective part, so I called the support line. 2 weeks go by and no resolution except they are out of stock and will have to disassemble another unit to replace my part. I don't believe for a second they were going to do this so I had to fix it on my own and take a abysmal refund for it. Otherwise the actual cabinets are great except for their QC passing defective parts. No one apologized during this entire fiasco of a project with CTG. If anything goes wrong, they WILL NOT MAKE IT RIGHT! read more

The store looks small from the outside but very well organized from the inside. They have several cabinet displays to help you visualize your future project potentials. They have plenty of models to chose from in a variety of woods and colors. Tracy Levar, the Store Manager, was very helpful and super friendly. She put our doubts at ease and reassured us of our future purchase. She explained how the company works and answered out questions. They come out to your home to take measurements and are even able to give you several contractor recommendations whom they have worked with and trust. read more

Over a year later and sill have damaged drawers (they were damaged upon arrival and still installed as no other replacements were available at the time; per the company). HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE - DO NOT FIX THEIR MISTAKES We ordered some grey cabinets from this company back in late December 2017 we received them about 6 weeks later, opened up the boxes to find that 5 or 6 doors had spray or roller blotches on them and needed to be replaced. When calling to get support on this, the reps are friendly but the NEVER call or email back unless you engage them. Their philosophy appears to be to hope you quit contacting them and grow weary of having to drive/push them to support their product. In early July I called them again and blew up, I ranted on twitter and called them getting irate and insisting on a manager helping me. Suddenly after waiting over 4 months I had some doors shipped 2nd day air to me. Unfortunately since I purchased the cabinets CabinetsToGo decided to change their grey color so the doors do not match our cabinets! I called them back to try and figure this out and never heard back from them. A week later I call them again, I get irritated and have to speak sternly AGAIN to find out that they had changed their color. Now they are debating if they want to replace all my cabinet drawer fronts and doors. I mentioned to them what about the cabinet faces that won't match? What about my countertops that are already installed???? I had received an email from CabinetsToGo stating that I could go ahead and install my cabinets (because they would fix the problem). but now what will happen? I am hoping they will pay to replace everything and do the job RIGHT! It is just such a pain to deal with them... I would advise anyone thinking about using this company to think twice, mistakes are common and I personally have no problem with mistakes, so long as customer service is there to fix the mistakes and make things right. I am still waiting to see if CabinetsToGo will do that! If they do I promise I will update my review to reflect that. read more

Wonderful experience! Ashley, our sales rep did a wonderful job with our selections and order process. She stayed on top of the job and made sure it stayed on target. Our crew, JLR Remodeling, were the best! Very professional, great attention to detail and helped make beautiful suggestions on tile and grout plus some fun add-ons for decoration. They made sure they cleaned up at the end of each work day which helped it not seem so chaotic and dirty during the renovation. These guys are top notch with their work ethic and integrity. I was really dreading going thru the renovation, but they made it as pleasant as possible. I will definitely be using them again when we're ready to reno the bathrooms! read more

I won't spend that much money with someone who is condescending and talks down to people. Surprisingly custom made cabinets that fit our kitchen were only slightly more expensive. We used the Plano, Texas Cabinets to Go store. We had seen a friend's kitchen who had used Cabinets to Go. They seemed like quality cabinets. When we ordered our cabinets they were on sale and we got 0% interest for two years. We worked with Tom. He was very helpful in planning the design for our kitchen. We had some modifications and he didn't seem upset in changing the plan. We did not use some of the cabinets ordered because we opened up our kitchen making an island. When we cancelled these cabinets we were charged a 20% restocking fee. This will be on the contract you sign with Cabinets to Go. When we placed our order we were given a May 1,2014 date as our delivery date. Our cabinets were all in and ready to pick up on May 24,2014. We felt that this wasn't too bad. I felt at times that the staff (especially Rob) was irritated when I would call and inquire when our cabinets would be in. I was told that many cabinets had been out of stock since Christmas. That didn't exactly make me feel better. They said they were having trouble with their supplier. I would say that when you place an order, expect there to be some delay before everything arrives. Now, the good part. We love our cabinets! We ordered the Victoria Ivy. They are so beautiful - solid wood. I was a little intimidated when I looked at the stack of boxes. I thought it would take FOREVER to put them all together. Well, I was wrong. Some I had together in 5 minutes. After they are together you have to add very small "L" brackets with tiny screws. This step took longer than assembly. I did have to ask help from a knowledgable friend to set the first drawer rails. After that it was a snap! Understand that I love the challenge of putting things together. I'm sure the price is more reasonable because you do your own assembly. Overall this was a good experience with Cabinets to Go. I think customer service suffered a bit because the staff was frustrated with their supplier. Just keep calling and ask about your cabinets. Overall we didn't feel that 3 weeks was an unreasonable time to wait. I would recommend Cabinets to Go in Plano, Texas. read more

Instead of trying to resolve issues and help the customer if you have any problems at all all they will do is quote policy. The kitchen designer made obvious mistakes in his design and when attempting to resolve the issues he would just throw all of the problems back from the customer. Not only do they constantly quote there 25% restocking fee which is absolutely ridiculous but also their pictures do not reflect the true color of their products. I will never use this company ever again and I recommend that unless you are an expert and you don't make any mistakes not to use this company either. They're definitely not a company interested in any kind of repeat business or positive word of mouth comments. And by the way those sample kitchen prices they don't exist I had a 10 by 10 kitchen and the price of my kitchen was almost two and a half times the price of their quote unquote sample 10 by 10 kitchen so those are just deceptive ways to lure you in. read more

Unless you don't have a job and can get to their warehouse immediately upon the delivery from Tennessee. boxes of solid Montauk cherry cabinets were damaged. Even had a fellow working the warehouse give away my cabinets to another customer. Guess it was pick your own cabinets from someone else's order that day. Tim from the Irving store signed off on my pick up, when in fact I never got to the Plano warehouse to receive yet. They damn near gave that away too. If you notice the employees are stressed out, constantly outside smoking. Lol warehouse is unorganized. Plan on spending an entire afternoon searching for your own shit. And rhe real surprise comes when you open the boxes. Due to unsecured loads in the semi lots of scratch and dents in the wood. Then comes the monumental task of dealing with customer service. My wife and I wanted to update two bathrooms and we started our search for cabinets, however, we had a very bad experience with a major store and left the place very upset. My wife refused to do business with this national chain and walked out in anger. I thought we were stuck without any other options until I remembered finding Cabinets to Go online, so we left that awful store and drove right over to Cabinets to Go's Plano Texas location. From the start we had a great experience with Misael and Tracy the manager at this location. Misael never rushed us in our decision making and helped us with any questions we had. The cabinets fit perfectly when they were installed. One of my favorite features are what I call the cabinet "air brakes" because when you close the drawers and doors they slowly close by themselves. We have older cabinets in our kitchen and it makes our kitchen cabinets seem so boring. Anyway, the major store we went to, initially, told us it would be quite a while to get our cabinets and Cabinets to Go actually received our cabinets quicker than we were told at the other place. The major store quoted us an astronomical price stating that all their customers spend a gazillion dollars in remodels and made us feel like a couple of low life losers. So glad we walked out of that place because we saved $7,000, on our complete remodel, by going with Cabinets to Go. Very great experience. For those customers that reviewed this store negatively due to shipping times I say nice cabinets like these take a little more time to get in than going to a home improvement store and picking them up, but be patient, because you will be rewarded by the final results. My wife and I wanted to completely remodel our 60's kitchen. In planning our budget, we discovered that our largest expenditure was going to be cabinets for the kitchen. We looked at big box stores and perused the Internet in search of the perfect cabinets for us. The big box stores had very little choices for a DIY'er and I'm just not comfortable spending $8,000.00 on something I can't see and touch ahead of time over the Internet. Then we discovered Cabinets to Go. The catalogue was fantastic and we found that we had a CTG Showroom only 10-15 miles away. The showroom was very large, displaying many of the different styles we had seen on the CTG website and in the catalogue. What sold us was the display of the Victoria Ivory cabinets. We absolutely fell in love with them. The store manager, Jamie, walked us through the whole process, answered all of our questions, and went over our kitchen design with a fine tooth comb, making great suggestions that would end up saving us money and making our kitchen more balanced. It was like a breath of fresh air to have a Salesman/Store Manager more interested in making sure we were happy with everything than making more money for CTG. The pickup process was a breeze (they did all the work.) This was one of the best buying experiences that we've ever had! Almost makes me want to remodel another kitchen. NOT! LOL.
