This place is not even worth one star, but the view was fantastic and honestly that is being generous. God's creation should always receive 5+ stars, but places like this really ruin the experience. We rented Wet N' Wild mainly for the indoor pool and sauna. What a huge disappointment. The decorations were cute but for the love of Pete it looks like they have not dusted in years. If you are not going to clean, then do not have so many decorations. The dishes were dirty/dusty that we washed things before we even used them. Even though there are signs saying to keep the place nice, respect the visitors after you. What about us? I guess we did not matter. The hot tub was cold, the sauna had dead bugs, mold was on the wall in the indoor pool area. The privacy wall was broken by the hot tub, the railing on the deck on both levels is separating as well as a very loose railing going down the steps to the lower level. Safety issues you would think. On the first night we called and mentioned all these things and they came the next day and fixed the hot tub and dusted a picture that hung over the bed. (Eyeroll). We were gone for the day but when we returned it was 85 degrees in our cabin and the air stopped working and you cannot open the windows. So, I guess if we wanted a heated hot tub, we were not allowed to have air. We followed the directions to lower the temp only three degrees at a time, but nothing ever happened, so we called. She said that someone would call us and come fix the AC. We waited till about 1:00am. It was so hot it was worth staying up so we could sleep comfortably. No call no show. For the amount of money we paid for 2 nights with the $150 cleaning fee! What a Joke! I was never so glad to leave the next day. DO NOT RENT A CABIN HERE! read more

Our family just rented the Rushing Falls cabin for 4 days and loved it. Virtual Check-in was easy and very convenient. Once we entered the cabin we were presently surprised how clean the entire cabin was and impressed with how clean the bathrooms and kitchen were. Cabin was well equipped and we brought extra towels and cleaning supplies just in case but didn't need them. After being there for a day we got a follow up call from the rental agency checking to make sure all was good which was a nice touch. We very much enjoyed our stay and went in knowing this was a cabin in the woods and not our house which helped with our expectations. We would definitely stay here again. read more

Super disappointed! My family and I stayed at "Almost Heaven" for 6 nights. We arrived on 8/18 & walked into a disgusting cabin! It was so bad we immediately called the office whom have always been very nice. There was food stuck all over the kitchen floor and the floor was super sticky. The stair case was sticky & there was dust everywhere. Dust all over the fans & on top of the refrigerator as well. I'm guessing the pictures online were taken when the cabin was first built because it looks nothing like it now. The tv remote didn't have any batteries, so we had to call for that as well. Nor did the main bedroom tv work or the downstairs bedroom television. The inspector came out and mopped the floor and cleaned the stairs. Now granted the tv batteries had to come from maintenance. Little did we know upon further inspection there were men's underwear hanging in the down stairs shower with what looked like urine beside the toilet. When I say gross, this cabin tops off gross. So among the kitchen floor, the men's underwear with the urine stains on the floor there was more. Impossible I know. The main floor & down stairs carpet was even worse. Dark to almost black from everyday wear but I'm guessing it had to be the same carpet from when the cabin was built. The screen that surrounded the hot tub was torn from top to bottom. The faucet downstairs had separated from the wall causing a gap. The blinds were missing on the door completely down stairs. Missing blind pieces in the main family room and the main bedroom. Both rocking chairs up stairs were broken. Many of the bathrooms didn't have towel bars but the broken parts were still attached to the wall. AND a leak beside the hot tub that dripped all over the sun room floor after a late evening storm. So back to the batteries. . . Maintenance decided it would be a good idea to drop off batteries at 11:30PM. He came banging on the door which scared my Mom & Dad who were sleeping in the main floor bedroom, almost to death. He leaves them on the porch. The next morning I called the office & spoke with a female whom I explained ALL ofthe above to who told me "she wasn't laughing at me, she was laughing with me". Granted very nice but not super helpful. No offer to have management call us back or anything. I get there's not much in her control she can do but she was "sorry about that because these things mentioned made their company look bad". I'm thinking based on ALL the issues with this company they just doesn't care to get anything fixed or replaced. I get it's old but there's NO EXCUSES to why the cabin was so insanely gross. read more

Never stay at cabins in Pigeon Forge. We arrived at our rentals cabin on June 27th. They don't clean their cabins. We stayed Indigo Moon . 1st we didn't have towels. Dishes were dirty etc... but the ultimate was the nasty mattress with fresh urine all over it. We had to sleep in chairs until someone would come a verify in the Morning after 1000am. Went to the rental office and was told by Susie McCarrell that in order to receive our refund we had to remove the post from the internet. Susie didn't care about the customers sleeping in on a urine filled mattress. So I removed so I could get my refund. Then reposted it. read more

This company has no regard for the health safety if it's guests, only how much money they can scam out of us all. Our bedding was unwashed and saturated with the previous guests bodily fluids, the dishes were crusted with old food, the dishwasher is broken with who knows what rotting inside (the smell was putrid), and the water smells like hot raw sewage. Paid an extra 250 for a romance package they switched out for another package without notice, then set up in the dirty kitchen and unsanitary bedroom. The entire exterior of the cabin is encased by cobwebs and dirt, reminiscent of a horror movie setting. The property itself is quite lovely with the waterfalls, too bad they've ruined the natural scenery with unkempt cabins and litter. No attempt was made to repair or replace anything during our stay or offer to move us to a new location (based on the reviews of others, being moved most likely wouldn't have resolved anything). We did receive two emails within three hours, eight days after check out, demanding we contact them and pay for additional nights that we did not request or book when we made our reservation. No minimum night stay was stipulated at the time of reservation, nor leading up to our stay, or duration of the stay, only over a week later. It took two hours arguing with guest services (after the demand for additional payment for nights not booked or stayed) to receive a refund for less than half of what we paid, when it should have been a full refund due to the deplorable conditions of the cabin. Ours is not the only experience like this, their Facebook reviews are filled with similar accounts. My goal with this review is to try and prevent others from falling prey to this company's greed and neglect. Beware, they also have 2 "sister companies" with the same cabins for rent. read more

We decided to stay at Love for Two for our honeymoon. Amenities included were: Wi-fi, Jacuzzi tub, hot tub, pool table, fire place and stocked kitchen. First, know that you need to bring trash bags, laundry detergent, coffee and filters, and shampoo. They did supply one trash bag, dish soap, dishwasher soap, tp, paper towels and hand soap. I say this because we weren't sure what we needed to bring. Our cabin had a coffee pot and a toaster! The day before our stay I received an email about our tv needing work. No big deal, but they did notify us a day before our stay. We appreciated the heads up! So we went to check out everything. There were cigarette ashes on the floor beside the chair, and dirt on the floor. No big deal, I swept that up. Checking out the bathroom there was black mold/mildew on the floor. Needless to say I skipped my shower. I had no cleaning products with me and there was none there. We went to hop in the hot tub. Remember, it's our honeymoon. We were excited about the romance factor! Well, the hot tub jets didn't work. No big, we'll get it fixed and hop in the Jacuzzi tub. Filled the tub, and bet you not... those jets didn't work either. So we had to call the service desk again! Slightly annoyed we figured we'd just sit by the fire. They said maintenance would be up sometime the next morning. Went to get all cozy infront of the fire place. Guess what didn't work either. Yup. That's right, the fireplace did not work. It was late, we went to bed. Got up the next day and stopped at the service desk. That morning, someone came and fixed the hot tub. It still didn't work 100% right, but I'm not that picky and can deal with it. That evening the maintenance man came and looked at our fireplace and Jacuzzi tub. Apparently they were waiting for an okay from the owners to fix the jacuzzi. Also, they knew about the fireplace too. The maintenance man was wonderful and friendly. Unfortunalely he was the one who had to scrub the black stuff out of the shower. Pool it is! We had fun with the pool table, but I hope you're not a stickler. To shoot the ball from the outer corners, the back end of you stick has to be raised 90° not a big deal for us. We laughed it off. We wanted an unplugged honeymoon. Which was wonderful. Except we had to have Wi-fi because of my husband's job. I couldn't find the connection and called customer service to see if they knew where the modem was so I could restart my connection. She told me that wifi wasn't an ameniti. Had I known that, we NEVER would of rented there. That was a must due to him having to work every few days. A few emails here and there, but emails of importance. Literally everything my husband and I were looking forward to was a disappointment. We ended spending more time out of the cabin than in it. I gave them a 2 star because they did compensate us. I can't even say it's the owners fault. The cleanliness factor was passed by Brianna who did our inspection. Yes, they're waiting on owner approval for the jacuzzi but they could of notified us. This was a huge disappointment, especially for it being our honeymoon. They did offer me a 15% discount for our next stay. Even at 25% off our next trip I don't know that I'd be willing to risk ruining a vacation. I hope that of I do, that I can give them a 4 or 5 star review. read more

RUN RUN from this company. We haven't even made it to the cabin and we've been hung up on my Steve because checkin states 4:00 pm and I asked the area the cabin is located so that we could shop close by waiting for the cabin to be ready. Steve lies and said he had no idea what part of Pigeon Forge. I told him that I didn't expect the exact address just something close by. He answered by making excuses. Unfortunately, I have had issues since reserving with this company! I chose to make the reservation on line. I was given the price per night with discounts and fees, but when I hit the payment button my total never showed up. Luckily I always take a picture of totals, because when I received the confirmation it was for over $200 more. I made calls and I was told that the price per night changes every minute and I would have to pay it. I sent them the email showing the picture of the total cost of rental, including all fees and rent. I stated that they should cancel the cabin unless I got it at the indicated price. A price should not change when you hit the submit payment button. One day before arriving, I was notified that the fireplace doesn't work. The fireplace was important to us so I called and asked if we could change to a different available cabin since I had found a review with the same issue. The First Lady said that I could change it when I arrived but I would be charged an additional charge. Nope, not acceptable. I'm not paying for something that is not my fault. So I asked for a management. I told her that I would give up a bedroom for a cabin with a fireplace. We found another cabin and agreed upon it; although it was smaller and had less amenities. It is now 5:20 and I still haven't received the directions to the cabin or the key code to get in. 4:00 was checkin and I understand maybe 30 minutes but this is not good business practices. After calling the company 4 times, we finally received the information at 6:00 to go to our cabin. The first customer service Rep told me that it was being inspected and would be ready around 4:30. Upon arriving to our cabin (Bear Country cabin), we were pleasantly surprised that it looked beautiful and clean; however that was short-lived because our main bedroom light does not work or outlets. We do have 2 lamps that work so that isn't a big issue. We moved to this cabin because the other cabin's fireplace did not work... this fireplace does not work and the living room TV does not work. The TV and light issues existed prior to our visit, but we were never notified as a courtesy. I will update this review after our stay is complete, but wanted to warn any poor soul that is thinking of staying here to find another company. read more

Old papa bear lodge" is the absolute worst!!! My family drove 10 hours for these "luxury cabins" walked in to a filthy cabin that wasn't clean! We were charged an extra 200 for a "Covid cleaning fee" but the floors were sticky with unknown substances all over, the tubs had dirt inside we had to leave the mountains to get our own bleach to clean, The main bedroom bed was broken in half literally, there was poop on the toilet, dust and dirt everywhere, appliances in kitchen dirty and microwave dish cracked!!! NO CLEAN SHEETS, called GUESTCARE AND A MAN NAMED FRED HUNG UP ON ME AND NEVER SENT ANYONE We have kids and this was a horrible cabin and a waste of money! I wish I could leave 0 stars read more

This place is not even rate able! You have to atleast give 1 star to write the freakin review. In my opinion, they are not worth a half a star. This place is horrible! I have had issues with them since I booked the cabin! The cabin was absolutely filthy! No sheets on the bed, the cabin had not been cleaned after being told it was cleaned and then after calling letting them know it had not been cleaned, they said someone would be out to clean it within 2 hours. No one ever showed other than main to deliver towels. I asked to speak with management and got told they would not speak to me until check out. This place is a joke. DO NOT STAY HERE!! Worst customer service ever!! Arrived at High Bear Nation and the air conditioning was broke the house was 86 degrees. It was cooler outside then in the home, immediately contacted guest service was advised they would put in an emergency ticket and get someone out 2 hours later no one shows, called back and was informed that had 4 hours to get there. I can tell you the 4 hours came and went. The company would not offer other accommodations or do anything!!! We had to leave and check in a hotel the home was not adequate for accommodations. 10:30 am the next someone from the company called to say they were working on getting someone out to look at the AC. WOW!! Over 16 hours later, they also offered no solution but to stay in an unbearably hot cabin. Very unprofessional company, under maintained homes. This was obviously it a new problem with the amount of wires hanging out of the units. The property was delivered uninhabitable, it want a mishap that happened during they stay. Additionally our check in was suppose to be 4pm but we did not receive the check in instructions or cabin address till after 5PM. Very disorganized and they don't care their affecting your vacation. Avoid this company they would not give a refund or offer another accommodation which we would have be en ok with. They just stole our money and didn't care!!! Come celebrate your American Patriotism with a little American Romance! This was an amazing cabin that was home for the last week in May 2017. The 5 minute drive to the Parkway (so much to do there) was the best part being able to scoot into the busy nightlife and then back home to quiet serenity. The cabin had everything including washer/dryer and all the comforts of home in the kitchen. Each morning we made breakfast instead of going out each morning and enjoyed a quiet rain storm on the back porch overlooking the mountains. The drive down Peak Loop Way is a private little road that keeps away traffic and noise. Having our dog, PJ, was a nice way to make the cabin more personal (home is where the dog is). The owners have done a great job decorating the place and it is clean and cozy. Please, don't like it too much, we're going back again soon. read more

Termites, no wifi, broken grates on floors, hot tub doesn't work, doors don't open, stained carpets, poor service. Would not recommend unless you only plan to sleep here. Even then, camping in a tent is more comfortable. read more

I was a guest invited to attend a family reunion which had been planned for several months. This was a large group, approximately 37 people including children. We wanted to stay together so we reserved the Landmark Lodge in Pigeon Forge, TN. The listing offered many amenities which included a pool, two hot tubs and a game room with video games. Check in time is 4pm. We could not check in until the person who made the reservation arrived at 5pm. Once checked in we were told that the lodge was not ready! An inspector had to check the property first to see that the prior renters left the property in order. Check out is at 10am - they had all day! Many of our party were waiting at the lodge as the office told us we could wait there. Then we were told we had to leave as the inspector would not come on-site if she saw cars in the driveway. We drove next door to a pizza shop (the pizzas and wings are fabulous!). ​ We saw a car arrive at 7pm - several minutes later another car arrived with cleaning equipment). We did not get into the lodge until after 10pm! Several families had driven 10 hours or more, or flown - we were all hot and tired. We found several rooms not cleaned and the pool was grey with a heavy scum covering the surface. My bed was concave - not a great place to sleep when you have a bad back, which I do. Both hot tubs needed cleaning. We made the best of it the first night. Tuesday morning many calls were made to the office which resulted in my getting another mattress, hooray! Several bedframes were found to be broken which maintenance repaired. Cleaning the pool was next, however, filling the pool didn't begin until sometime after 11pm. Maintenance said the pool wouldn't fill until Weds morning, he'd be back. Early Weds morning we found water had flooded one 1st floor bedroom, part of the kitchen, the hallway and living room. Frantic calls to the office resulted in our being told maintenance didn't come in until 10am but we'd get help then. All of us grabbed towels, moved furniture, mopped up all the water - maintenance didn't arrive until after 1pm when all of the water was taken care of by us! He did turn the filter on. The pool was ready to use on Thursday. Only one hot tub worked. By the way, there are no railings for the pool steps, no printed guidelines posted for pool use, no life vests for children, no floats. No steps for the hot tub - anyone under 5 feet, 2 inches will be challenged getting into the hot tub. Oh, one more thing, a drawer in one fridge was broken and was not repaired. Also, there is only one clothes washer and drier on the third floor!!! Get ready for a work out! Lucky for us we used a travel agent who is getting all of us refunds for part of our stay. Currently spending a week in Pigeon Forge with family and rented a cabin through Cabins of Pigeon Forge. Initially, we were disappointed that our cabin, "Appalachian Dream" did not have mountain views as advertised. The next morning, I called and voiced my disappointment. The staff went right to work to find us another cabin. They offered to move our reservation from our current 4 bedroom cabin to the luxurious 7 room cabin at the same price. Wow! This 2nd cabin was a dream! Heaven's Corner. We had incredible views that exceeded beyond our expectations. I stayed at Pigeon Forge Cabins - Paul Bunyan's Treehouse this past weekend in Gatlinburg, TN. We had such a great time. Driving up the mountain was a little scary at first, we drove in after it was dark out so it was hard to tell where we were going. Once at the house there were three bedrooms with a double bed, two master (one of the second level with private bathroom, one on the first level with a private bathroom, right outside the kitchen, and one down stairs slightly smaller). There was also a kids room with two single bunk-beds. In the game room on the bottom floor included a large TV, plenty of seating, pool table and air hockey.There was a Jacuzzi outside. Make sure you bring all supplies for eating, as well as cleaning, towels also as they had very few. We did a wine tasting one day, which was fun but the wine was cheap and the same at each winery we went too. Also these weren't true winery's, more like gift shops that give wine tastings - you paid for what you got. Within the actual town itself was kind of like the Myrtle Beach of TN (I believe this was Sevierville) - Gatlinburg on the other hand was a cute town I would have loved to walk through if we had more time. read more

A disclosure should be put on the website for the horrific drive up the side of a mountain to the cabin. The bridge to cross to start your drive up the mountain has no sides on it. One wrong move and you are overboard! Then it's straight up from there! As long as you don't need your breaks to come down the mountain and you like to live dangerously, then I would NOT recommend staying here. There are plenty of other "mountain" retreats near by! Ended up staying at a hotel rather than risk losing my breaks coming down out of there everyday. I do understand there is a cancellation policy but they basically were paid for no one to stay in the cabin. No refunds!! read more

I stayed in the Ever After cabin. The cabin was nice enough, though the pictures of the view were misleading. We paid $50 extra a night for the view of the smoky mountains that ended up being blocked by many other cabins. There is very little privacy in this gated "community" of many rental cabins. We also had an issue with the hot tub. It was not full and was very loud. When we called guest services, they said someone may be able to get there within 4 hours. Nobody ever came to fix it. After our stay and compensation, we came to find out there was a part they had to order for the hot tub, meaning they knew before our stay that the hot tub did not work. Disappointing considering that was a main reason to book that cabin. We were not offered another cabin or nearly the compensation I expected. I'm still working with guest services to see if they'll correct this. read more

After staying at the Raven's Eye cabin and after a horrible experience 2 years ago, we tried it again recently and the experience was just as bad. I was surprised but not shocked considering prior to my trip I communicated with the staff and expressed how I wanted everything to be better and cleaner than 2 years ago. First, of all it was about 6pm before we even entered the cabin and that was to no help from the staff. We never received communicated on the gate and cabin code. There was trash still in the outside containers and trash on the floor in the cabin. The shower heads I assume from the water pressure caused the shower heads to tear up. The bathrooms were not completely clean. The air was not working appropriately which caused it to be hot during the day. There were bugs throughout the upstairs and downstairs. There was a dead bird outside the entryway downstairs and seemed like the same bird. I was 100% disappointed because I was assured things would be fine but not overly surprised. I do want the company do give me a full reimbursement for the horrible experience. I hope this reaches the right hands and I hear from someone. read more

DO NOT STAY HERE!!! We rented a cabin with this company last year, and we were downgraded at the last minute and told this house was our only option. Not having much of a choice so close to our trip date, we stayed Big Bear Retreat for our family getaway and we could not believe the condition of the house when we arrived! It was apparent this "Luxury" cabin had not been cleaned in a LONG time. The floors were sticky and black. My 3 year old's feet were black after just a short time in the house. We had to keep shoes and socks on the entire time we were there. The cabin was INFESTED with roaches! They were in the bathrooms, the kitchen, crawling down the living room walls and across the floors. They were even in the dishwasher!! We bought a bunch of food to host an early Thanksgiving dinner and were thoroughly disgusted with the condition of the kitchen we had to cook in. The Fridge was busted and the shelves were falling out of the doors. The kitchen hadn't been stocked with adequate paper goods, trash bags or even hand towels. The pool table was stained and gross, the air hockey table was broken and falling apart. The dining table on the back deck was a safety hazard, the glass top was broken and falling off! The back deck had a lovely view of strewn garbage, bottles and solo cups. The front entry was surrounded by garbage and debris. To top it off my husband was bitten numerous times by a mystery bug that produced huge welts and were severely itchy. This place is gross, and not worth your money. DO NOT STAY HERE!! read more

We stayed in the million dollar cabin, it was very spacious, just like the pic showed.. We didn't have any problems finding the cabin, the car gps brought us right to the cabin with a scenic drive up the mountain. The cabin was nice and clean. The view was awesome from all 3 levels.. It was just the wife and I for our anniversary and that weekend they had all their cabins on special 50% off so why not get a bigger cabin, regardless their pricing was fair.. We are def going to come back with the whole family! Thanks Guys read more

We enjoyed our stay at the cabin (Heavenly High). It was clean beautiful views as promised. The only thing that was in question was when you left the cabin the door didn't lock when you where out enjoying the activities of the beautiful towns and surrounding. Didn't realize this till our last evening luckily nothing was disturb during our stay. Our only complaint is it was difficult to find the office to check in and no way to check out because your check out time was 10am and the office hours was not open till 10am and it is not always in the same building. We will be back again. As I said the cabins were beautiful and clean. The staff was pleasant and helpful.. read more

We stayed at Mountain View Escape. The cabin was a great price, but they do add maintenance and hot tub cleaning fees. One of the tvs did not work, I called twice but it was never fixed. Wait time with customer service was long as well as when checking in at the office. Parking was also very limited at cabin. But the cabin was beautiful as well as the scenery. We had limited towels, so better bring extra. Only a short drive to restaurants, etc. This was our first visit to Cabins of Pigeon Forge. read more

Didn't check in until 3 hours past the check in time. Paid in full and everything and paid for what? A quarter of the day? I want my money back. This place was the most unprofessional place I've ever talked to. Left us in the dark after we just drove 5 hours. We are tired and my kids are hungry. I just want to enjoy my stay but can't. Paid $1600.00 for a six bedroom cabin and will never do it again. We could not check in until Friday at 4:00 and had to check out at 10:00 on Sunday. The cabin was ok but definitely could have used a few upgrades. It also could've used a good spring cleaning. For $1600 you do not expect to have popcorn left over from the people before you. You should be able to look out the windows and not have fingerprints and dirt all over them. All the appliances coffeepots toasters we're all miss matched. Least I can do with this scale, should be at least a negative 5 .I emailed the office where we checked in because they contacted me after seeing my review, and it's just gotten worse was offered a small refund and 20% off my next stay. Refused to accept another stay even if it were free. Customer service is really bad and still have not gotten the issues resolved. Was told I couldn't get a refund until I took down this review. I guess they really don't care if they have anyone renting their cabins. If you want to rent a cabin in the smokies don't go through any agency's related to Venture resorts! Also be sure and check any reviews left here or on Google or even the BBB! read more

We stayed in the Cabin Patch cabin over Christmas. Really worried about this company based on many negative reviews. We were going to try virtual check in, but we were already on the road and you need to be able to print the agreement and return it. We called ahead and were told our cabin was available earlier than the 4 checkin. We had a flawless checkin. Attendee was pleasant. Directions to cabin accurate. Upon arrival to cabin, everything appeared as pictured. Kitchen well equipped. Heat worked very well. Downside. There were only 2 showers, instead of the 5 listed in amenities. Master bedroom has a sunken jacuzzi tub, did not use because there was some yellow gold stains or drainage seeping out of the jets. I wouldn't use the grill, kind of nasty. Was looking forward to sitting on the rocking chairs listed in amenities, but did not have. View from deck, just okay....too many power lines to get a nice picture. Look down from deck and quite a bit of trash and garbage thrown down hill. Cabin looks well used. My biggest Disgust were the amount of Japanese beetles flying around and dead on floor. There was a broom for cleaning and at least twice a day we swept up bugs, but no dust pan to sweep them in. Plus if you glance down into the vents, it appears that others have just swept them into the vent. Beds were comfortable, furniture just felt dirty. This cabin could've been luxurious at one point, but over the yrs with careless guests it has taken a beating. I wasn't entirely disappointed. Based on the other reviews I anticipate the worst and hoped for the best....satisfaction fell right in between. This cabin is privately owned and I give the owner a zero star for poor upkeep. The check in process. The staff at the office. The phone call the next day to see how everything was, was a nice touch. read more

We stayed at the Million Mile View cabin. The cabin was very clean. I was impressed how it was full of dishes and pot and pans. The view of the mountains was beautiful. It was very quiet and peaceful. The only thing that we found wrong was that the arcade game machine and the air hockey was broke. We reported the problem to the staff at check out and they handled the situation very professionally. I would recommend them to my friends and family. Yes I would go back and stay again. read more

We stayed in the Cozy Creek Cabin for our Honeymoon in late October. This was one of the most isolated cabins at Bear Creek Resort in Pigeon Forge, so we were really happy with the location. Not a great view, but very private - which... it was our Honeymoon soo.... we were a-ok with that! A couple of things that kept me from giving this 5 stars: 1. The couch in the living room was unusually uncomfortable. The cushions kept sliding off and it was almost like the sleeper didn't close all the way so the cushions were on an angle. Our couch at home is much better for snuggling. 2. The bed in the bedroom was uncomfortable. Typically - when you pay for a week away - you at least get to indulge in a bed that is better than the one you have at home! We were both very ready to sleep in our own bed after 4 nights of what felt like sleeping on springs. (And sounded like it, too.) 3. It would have been nice to have a list of things to remember to bring - like coffee filters. I knew that we'd likely be provided dishes, but they only provided dish detergent for the dishwasher and a bit of dish soap. Some complimentary laundry soap or at least a heads up of some commonly forgotten things would have been nice. On a positive note: We decided to grill at the cabin one night and discovered that a previous guest must have left the gas on for the grill - so there was none for us. We called to have it replaced, and even though they said it would be 2-4 hours to replace it (a negative there... how would you know it's gone unless you're ready to cook!?) but they got there in about 2 and were very helpful in replacing the gas tank. All-in-all, we had a great experience and I'd definitely recommend these cabins again to friends - especially those with kids or "adults" who aren't looking to party. Many of the cabins were VERY close to other cabins, so if you're looking to have a roaring good time (especially at night), then I'd not recommend these cabins. read more

Well here's the thing. This place has got some REALLY bad reviews but it's because the cabins are independently owned and the resort just manages the properties. So maybe the resort should charge the owners a maintenance fee to keep the cabins up and updated. BUT Our stay was wonderful. It was clean, the heat worked perfect, the fire place worked almost TOO well, the jacuzzi was perfect, and the view was amazing. The only 2 downsides are that the TV channel package sucked and the daily cleaning fee is pointless if they don't clean every day. Other than that, I would recommend but make sure everything is cleaned before arrival. read more

We stayed at the Belvedere cabin and for the most part it was a wonderful cabin. The cabin was clean and comfortable, with plenty of room for everyone. The view from our deck was gorgeous and we felt pretty secure being in a gated community. However, when we got there we found that there was only one set of towels for each bedroom, not enough for the 11 people in our party. Also being in the master bedroom, we found that it took forever to get hot water, as well as some minor issues. To their credit, the staff rectified the majority of these issues, although when we left, it still took 30 min to get hot water upstairs. I don't know if there was a seperate water heater for upstairs or not. The staff offered us a 30% discount towards our next stay, which was good. We may stay there again-or we may not. read more

Overall I was relatively satisfied with my cabin rental at (Above Heaven) but I was disappointed with the number of times I had to call for service. When we arrived the cabin showed signs of having tons of visitors. We had to wait on a service man to arrive to give us the wifi password. I don't understand why the front desk didn't have that. He arrived at 11:39pm..yes at night. We called at 5pm. I also had to request a set of blinds be hung because our neighbors could see straight into our den. A number of blinds were broken and needed to be replaced because they were worn. The TVs (2) had to be setup and we only had a dry towel for the kitchen. Usually they provide at least a set. I truly think if the owner knew that it needed attention we wouldn't have issues. The cabins should get regular inspection from a third party other than housekeeping. For example we had to call the front desk and have someone cut the poison ivy off the deck because it prevented us from using the hot tub. I do appreciate how they addressed all our concerns when we called. read more

My family stayed in a cabin a couple of weeks ago. There were several issues with the cabin that we rented that needed to be addressed. Unfortunately, our stay was only four nights and there was not ample time to get everything resolved and fixed during the stay. I understand that there are hundreds of cabins that are managed by this company and occasionally there are likely things that are missed or overlooked. Kudos to Darren in customer relations for reaching out to me after our stay. His commitment to resolving the issue was 5 star. I am confident that he will see that the issues that we experienced with the cabin will be fixed expeditiously. I have had other family members that have rented through Cabins of the Smoky Mountains previously and had great experiences. My rating is based on the cabin and the condition for this stay. Even though I am rating 3 stars overall, I would expect that this is an exception to what is typically the norm for this company. read more
