I decided to take a solo trip to the Smoky Mountains for a relaxing weekend. First time in the Pigeon Forge area and was completely over stimulated with all of the attractions and options for adventures! My oh my! Driving onto the property of the resort immediately put me at ease. The resort is located in a central area to all the activities, while being tucked in between a river and a golf course. The check-in was simple and pleasant with warm cookies and coffee waiting on your arrival. This is an ideal resort for solo, couples and/or a family. The options of having access to a lazy river on the grounds along with an indoor pool is great! The condo was wonderful, with the softest linen and a nice spacious bedroom. There is a full kitchen with full size stainless steel appliances. The full living room leads out to a nice cozy patio overlooking the bubbling river and beautiful ducks. This by far is one of the nicest resorts with a complete spa providing all self care services. I would definitely stay here again.

It's a nice place to stay but for as much as they charge they really need to spend some money on doing repairs & updating the resort. 2 days we tried to use the jet tub only for the water to be ice cold. Called the front desk & was told someone would be right down to check into it. 30min later no one had shown up so we gave up. Later that day we tried again & still the water was ice cold. Rooms are nice but there's rust on the vents and they are heavy lint with lint. In the pool area the floor has sunken in a lot of places that can lead to a trip hazard. Also the elevators displays don't work. The carts to haul your luggage to and from your room are severely lacking, people will also take them to their rooms a hang onto them even if they're not checking out till the next morning. It's a shame this place has gone down hill so much as it used to a really nice place to stay when we visited the Smokies.

    The view from the grounds.

The room was wonderful and large, definitely big enough for all of us! Only downside is, there's no on site restaurant. The pools were nice, as was the lazy river, and it was a quiet escape from the chaos of the Parkway!

RiverStone Resort is a hidden gem in Pigeon Forge! We enjoyed 4 days of total comfort -- the lazy river, indoor pool complex, and especially the Jacuzzi were perfect for unwinding after exploring Dollywood and the nearby shows. Our suite was spacious and clean, and the staff was welcoming and professional throughout our stay. Definitely a place we'll return to, and next time we're bringing friends!

Not bad. Stayed here for two nights and it did the job. Condo type set up with full kitchen as well as washer/dryer. Huge plus when traveling with family. A single load detergent is in the room. You can get more at the front desk for free. Spacious, clean room with a balcony. We had five in our party and it was plenty of room. Pool area is ok with a small lazy river. Indoor pool and spa is open 24/7. There are separate room and pool keys which was kinda weird. Parking is pretty convenient. Self park. No charge. They had luggage racks that you can use to load up your stuff and roll to your room. Good location with plenty to do nearby. Reasonably priced.

Booked a room back in Mid-July, amazing room, friendly service, beds were very comfortable to sleep in, views from balconies were amazing, lots of activities nearby, and what's with the spa? It is amazing! No delays and plans were months-out!

I have zero complaints. I usually find things I don't like but I have none. Rooms are SO CLEAN and spacious; we had a 3rd floor condo with 2 rooms for my family of 4 and our dog with washer/dryer, fully stocked kitchen and cleaning supplies for your stay. There is not a full service clean every day (you can pay extra if you want it) but they work very hard to provide you with everything you need. Our condo had a patio in front which was also perfect for our dog. The parking situation was good. We parked in the garage and our F-150 had no issues with space. I will absolutely be coming back!

My short stay at this Condo was comfortable! It was a 3 bedroom & 2 Bath with a wonderful view! The location was on the end and I appreciated the quietness that we had in on this area! My family felt secure and comfortable and it is centrally located to many restaurants; markets and attractions (by car or walking)! The condo is spacious and during the visit we didn't feel we are on top of each other! There were flat screen TV's in each room with Direct TV (HBO & Max Premium Channels)! There is one indoor pool and outdoor pool! Overall-comfortable stay!

This place exceeded our expectations. It was very clean, which is hard to come by these days. We had a 2 bedroom King condo and everything was up to date. No issues with anything and we throughly enjoyed our stay. Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge were extremely crowded, probably won't visit again in the summer!

Stay here at the cozy resort... u will never want to leave.. there is an indoor pool and if you can stay 2 nights to enjoy ur stay

This place is a MUST!! Super clean resort inside and out. Walking distance to all the fun entertainment. We even had geese visitors on the property. The lobby was beautifully decorated for Christmas!! Family friendly and couples cozy

    Water fall into lazy river

Not only was our condo really spotless but the entire grounds were clean. The lazy river, pool, and hot tub were clean and beautiful. The waterfall at the lazy river was such a nice touch. We will definitely be returning to RiverStone Resort and Spa every time we return to Pigeon Forge. The kitchen was fully stocked with all cooking items you would need, the beds were very comfy. The best part: it was so quiet!!!!! We couldn't hear the people above us at all! The long hours for the pool and lazy river came in handy too!!!

The resort is in the mountains, a few minutes from Dollywood. It's clean and rustic but elegant - think Dolly Parton's style and touch. It's family oriented so it's cozy, not really flashy. I bet during the holidays (now) placed is decked out. Kudos to the staff. From checking in, to dining all the way the family activities (smores), everyone was friendly, helpful and genuinely warm making people feel welcome. Service wasn't feigned or scripted - it was real and even when it was busy, the staff took care of business. Room was comfortable and clean. Not extravagant - think Southern charm. Bathroom wasn't cramped, water pressure good and temperature nice and hot. Quiet (we had a corner room) and we couldn't hear anything. Not even when neighbors opening or closing their door. Even had a workspace if you were working while you were supposed to be on vacation. Amenities included shuttle to and from the park. Pool and Spa (didn't partake). Went to the bar/restaurant - see other review and an on site convenience store. Free parking. I'm sure there are more but that's just all that comes to mind because we were for the park. That's also in another review. Anyway - to sum it up, it's not quite a luxury resort - but a place that offers heartfelt comfort wrapped in Southern Hospitality. If you know Dolly's story, it kinda captures her spirit - warm, sincere and touches of joy. It's a definite "yes" if I needed to pick a place to stay when back in that area, even if I weren't going to the park.

The bathroom had a vent with tons of rust, the paint was chipped all over the walls. Beat up and scuffed furniture. The patios were sad and depressing. The patio door was broken and did not lock. The view is "sad creek with creepy parking lot." The hotel also gives a complimentary margarita coupon to guests. We do not drink alcohol. When I went to the bar I asked the manager if we could trade it in for a non-alcoholic margarita or NA beer and they said no, only alcoholic margaritas. How ridiculous! Not even a freaking mocktail margarita! After staying at the Gatlinburg resort property this was a huge let down. We have since learned they are two different franchise owners. Suffice to say, we were going to stay two nights. We paid for two and after one night we left and booked a room at the Gatlinburg location instead. That's how bad it was.

Got there around 10:00 and the room was ready. Great! Got to room and it was pretty small and filthy (table had crumbs/sticky, not vacuumed etc). Went back to the front desk and she offered to switch to same room for no charge or upgrade to a slightly bigger room for $20/night. We opted for that option since as a family of four, more space is worth the cost for us. We got to that room and again, not the cleanest and there was pubic hairs on the bathroom floor which basically sealed the deal mentally nothing good would happen. Because this was a timeshare offer we called them and finally after we left and had lunch they just put us in another room. They did refund the $60 and gave us three breakfast vouchers for each day but even this room was not clean to what "Hilton" standards should be even though the manager walked through the room personally. In the end, this made it very easy to say no to the timeshare presentation as their excuse was Hilton bought the property just a year ago so they aren't all up to standard yet. The lobby was beautiful, the pool area looked nice but my kids said the water was freezing. I would never pay for the $17 dollar breakfast as it's basically the same free stuff you get at every other hot continental breakfast. Basically, you couldn't pay me to stay here again.

Check-in was seamless, and the front desk staff were friendly and welcoming. They have a nice 24/7 drink bar with instant coffee and tea, plus another bar with juice and tea options during breakfast and again in the evenings (7-10). Small touches like that were a nice surprise. As for the room, it was a good size and overall comfortable. The beds were great, though I did notice housekeeping service declined a bit as the week went on. Towels varied in softness, and the complimentary toiletries were below average -- I'd recommend bringing your own. For a listed 3-star hotel, I'd rate it closer to 2.5 stars. The property is clean and cozy, but for the price point, it could use a few tune-ups. That said, I'd stay here again, especially if you're traveling with family or kids. The pool and hot tub area are nice, and the continental breakfast was fairly decent. Tip: If you're staying on the first floor near rooms 110-120, you might want to request a different area unless you're an early riser -- hallway noise can be noticeable from people coming and going in the morning.

Those great hotels are often going to cost a pretty penny while those more affordable ones are going to be a bit rough around the edges. So where can you stay in Pigeon Forge that isn't going to hurt the bank account while giving you a relaxing stay? Well look no further...Twin Mountain Inn & Suites is excellent AND affordable! I'm a Hotels member and when I saw Twin Mountain Inn and Suites' 5 star reviews, I was curious, especially because at the time, the rates were about $97/night AND pets are only $20/night. Not only that, the room had a river view with a balcony, fireplace, and free parking. Now, I've kept this hotel on the backburner on my account. Last time we visited Pigeon Forge, we stayed at Drury and spent so much more on a "Mountain View" that overlooked the parking structure. So, this time, I decided to go with my instinct and book with Twin Mountain. Boy, am I glad we did!! We stayed on the third floor. Don't let the cover of a book fool you. The parking is easy but can get full pretty quickly, true. However, the room was probably on of the cleanest hotel rooms we've ever stayed in. The beds were comfortable. The shower was hot and had good water pressure (albeit, no conditioner or body wash-just a small packaged bar of soap. There were two small bottles of shampoo). There's a microwave and mini fridge in the room. I also liked that there were two sinks, one in the bathroom and one just outside of it (vanity). This was convenient for two people. The AC/heater was powerful, too. The fireplace is timed and creates a cozy atmosphere. The balcony overlooking the river was peaceful and there were two plastic chairs and a little table out there to sit and enjoy the view of ducks and geese. Twin Mountain Inn and Suites is close to the strip but away from the flashing lights and noise. It's a great location! Breakfast is included and had biscuits and gravy, eggs, yogurt, sausage, fruit, cereal, and one waffle maker. There's fresh coffee and a juice machine, too. It was a tight squeeze as it was very busy for 7:30am so I decided to get one biscuit and gravy, two sausages, and a yogurt to take back to the room, which were all very good. There's a drink vending machine outside of the lobby and one near the parking lot. The elevator was convenient and they also had luggage trolleys, too. This was an outstanding stay for one night and I wish it had been longer. I highly highly HIGHLY recommend staying with Twin Mountain Inn & Suites for your next stay in Pigeon Forge.
