I recently came to Cables and I was not impressed. I used to love coming here . Since the last time I came here to food quality has gone way down, smaller portions but the same price. The tomatoes were not fresh and the meatballs used to be better. I also ordered and ceasar salad for $11 but it was in a plate that looked big but was not deep at all, what a rip off. Cables also has a ventilation problem. You walk in and sit down and all you smell is burnt food, when I got home I had to air out my clothes it was so bad. Have been to cables about every time I come into to town for business. A few times a year. Have never seen a staff so happy to help. Until last time the staff is always friendly and accommodating to my table. Had a server last time by the name of Vee. She was not very personable and very rude. Seemed like she would rather be somewhere else than helping us. Made my table feel like they were a inconvenience to her. Then after we ordered saw her walk to the bathroom and take her phone out before she even made it to the door. Another server brought out our food and refilled our drinks for us. Before she had come out of the bathroom. She came and dropped off the bill before we had even gotten halfway done with our meal. Again usually all staff there is kind and thoughtful. Avoid her section if you can. Disappointed hopefully management will talk with her on how to be a good server. read more

I made a Yelp account just to review this horrible restaurant. The owner is rude, dismissive, and has no professionalism whatsoever. The head chef is a class A jerk as well. The place is severely overpriced and not worth the money. Some of the servers are really good and kind and do what they can to help but others are extremely rude. A friend of mines daughter works here and she has been mistreated, belittled, and made to cry from this establishment. DO NOT GO HERE! read more

I've eaten at Cables a couple of times since moving to Greeley. i enjoyed my meal both times. The first time I ordered the Mac and Cheese, because I'm always on the look for excellent Mac and Cheese. This definitely was one of the best. Just an ooey gooey, cheesey spectacular. We also wen't on a Tuesday, for their burger special. You get a burger and fries for 6 bucks which is as cheap as you'll get at any fast food restaurant, however, the quality is much better at Cables. I ordered a patty melt (minus onion) and received a juicy burger on rye bread with an awesome thousand-island type dressing. I think the only thing I would say negative about it is some of the menu seems a little overpriced, if you aren't ordering the special. read more

We just tried Cables...our group had pasta (homemade noodles) pulled pork Nachos, Black & Blue Burger and Pizza. EVERYTHING was delicious. We will definitely be back. Quality of the food is most important to us but the service was excellent as well. read more

Server greeted us right away with water ready, checked on us every few minutes, food came out hot. Would definitely recommend the minestrone soup as a side for any dish. Ordered the lasagna and it was definitely an indulging Italian cuisine. read more

Where to start? The service was lacking and I try to give grace in this area because you never know when someone is new and nervous but she was really not personable at all. We had not been here in about 7 years. I had remembered getting a great burger way back when. First off stay away from the chips and salsa. Not good. My first sign should have been that it was Sunday at lunch and there were only a few people at the bar. Red flag. I ordered the green chili burger expecting to be getting flavor explosion in my mouth. It was the most lackluster thing I ever tried and the bun was cold. I've never had a burger at a restaurant of this caliber that didn't toast the bun. Hardly any green chili on it at all. The fries were hot and excellent I will say but that was it. Our kids got pizza and the dough was strange and undercooked. The hostess was on the other side of the open wall from our table and kept looking at us. Super comfortable. Just overall a sad way to spend $70. We won't be back. read more

Got an almost raw burger the other night when I ordered it medium. The next burger came quickly and was almost as raw. I love this place on the whole but sometimes it's hard to explain why. It shouldn't be too hard to cook a burger properly but so many places can't figure it out. Cables pub and grill used to be called Cables End back in the day at two different Greeley locations. They used big old cable spools as tables then. Hence the name. read more

We went here for a farewell dinner before my Mom and Dad move to Florida and we were so disappointed. The waitress didn't seem very friendly, and disappeared often. It took awhile for us to get our orders taken and then about an hour to get our food. She never came over to tell us sorry or it should be out soon. We saw everyone around us, who came in after us get their food. The famous homemade noodles were under cooked and had no flavor. Their marinara is really watery with no salt and was too plain. The meatballs tasted likes canned meatballs, maybe too much bread crumbs or something, but they were not good. We ordered some calzones and Strombolis and they looked the exact same. The bread was not crispy or golden and was not seasoned. For the long wait we were expecting something amazing but it was very mediocre. My child had a side of cottage cheese and she said it was really warm, they couldn't even do that right. The waitress did say sorry for the wait once our food came to the table, but her excuse was they had a lot of take out orders. Shouldn't they prioritize their customers sitting inside who are tipping for service? We were really sad this used to be a favorite place to go and it has gone way down hill. This was not worth the large check we received at the end of our meal. If you want a good calzones go to Roma's! read more

Come here often, usually later in the evening when it's quiet. Pricey but bartenders are great.
