Popped in for a quick drinks and apps. It was seat yourself and the service was quick. We had a couple of apps and one cocktail each. I got the Espresso but it was not made with real espresso which was a bummer. The frittes were so yummy and the steak appetizer was good as well. It's located in the cute downtown area of Ft Collins

The Crown Pub in Old Town is an English-style brewpub. The moment you step inside, it feels like you've been transported straight to a traditional pub in England. The warm, inviting atmosphere captures the essence of old-world charm with a modern twist, and you can't help but feel at home the minute you walk through the door. The food here is always delicious with a creative spin on classic pub fare. The fish and chips were delicious. While I haven't tried any of their beers or cocktails yet, the beverage menu definitely caught my eye--it has a unique global take on cocktails, which adds another layer of excitement to the experience. The staff is always welcoming and friendly, and you can tell they genuinely care about making your visit enjoyable. The service is top-notch, and it's clear that they take pride in their work. If you're in the area, make sure The Crown Pub is on your list of places to visit. Whether you're looking for a cozy spot to enjoy a meal or simply to relax with a drink, you won't be disappointed. It's a place that's as memorable as it is charming.

I switched the steak fries for these thinner ones. Yummy stuff. Reliable service. Cozy go too!

All seasons kind of place. The whole town can shut down with cross country skiing going on in the streets, and this will be the one single restaurant OPEN . Totally Fort Collins!

Been here several times over the years. We enjoy the pub atmosphere. It's cozy and and great place to have a beer or cocktail . Perfect Guinness and feels just right to sip on an old fashion with house made cherries . We had the shrimp Picatta and the steak over mashed potatoes. Both were very good. The steak was cooked just as we asked and was very filling. There are several good choices on the menu. Sandwiches, salads, steak, chicken, fries, and a great appetizer selection. We always enjoy our visits here.

We walked past this place a few times and thought how cool is that front door. But it wasn't until we asked our server at another restaurant where she liked to eat. She said that this was the place. So we had to try it. The pub steak is where it's at. It doesn't look amazing in the pic but it's because of all of the amazing sauce on it. It was melt in your mouth. The combination of the Gorgonzola cheese and the balsamic reduction was perfect. My mouth is watering just thinking about it. The fries were delicious too. We got the appetizer so we would have more fries and get to try the sauces. Delicious. The cinnamon sugar crème brûlée was amazing. I am normally a plain or with fruity crème brûlée person but this was delicious!! The atmosphere is pretty cool and chill. I will say, if you sit at a side table under those green lights it's SO HOT. We moved to the window and it was great.

I used to come here a lot more often but then it seemed that service got slow and is still slow. It took a while to get our check and to have someone come to wait on us, when we saw people chatting up at the bar that worked here. no one is urgent or in a hurry. Too laid back for me. Go only if you have a whole lot of time to waste waiting.

Ask the Community - The Crown Pub

Ok to bring a well behaved baby in during the day for lunch or a very early dinner? I know it's a pub, so not sure that's allowed.

Not only is it allowed, but it is encouraged. We need more family experiences in pubs. With that being said, if the child is unrolling, please use your judgment take them outside for a while. Everybody can have a fun time!

I'd like to come here for my birthday, but would have to bring my son. Is this place kid-friendly? He's five and pretty well-behaved.

Yes absolutely! My kids grew up going here and now they come with friends! Kids are welcomed!

If you want a late night whiskey or beer or maybe a hot dog this place is fine. But if you want a warm meal then go somewhere else. I don't even think they have the equipment for it. Last two times I accepted the food and said nothing. Thought it was quirky or just my mood. Tonight was just stupid. My daughter and I rode our bikes here and we both ordered potatoes. They were uncooked. Not even warm enough to melt butter. I had mine taken back and reheated and even with the oven and everything they were unable to melt the butter on top of the potato. My daughter didn't complain and just picked at hers while we waited. After spending an extra 10 minutes in the oven the butter was still not melted. I'm not 100% on cooking but I'm pretty sure thats not how it works. They took off $5 for the potato (out of the $25 price) and then the waitress tried to defend it by saying it was the type of cheddar that kept it from melting. I really hope they fail and we can get a competent dive bar here because it is nice to get a late night drink.

We originally planned to stay for happy hour, but ended up spending nearly three hours there because we were enjoying ourselves so much. Social is one of those rare places that completely lives up to the hype. From the moment you walk downstairs, the atmosphere transports you to another era. The speakeasy vibe is authentic without feeling gimmicky, and every detail has clearly been thoughtfully designed. It's a super cool speakeasy with a warm, inviting interior that makes you want to settle in and stay awhile. We shared the charcuterie board, which was excellent, and enjoyed both the champagne and the bourbon. Everything was high quality and thoughtfully prepared. What started as a plan to enjoy happy hour turned into one of the most enjoyable evenings we've had in a long time. We'll definitely be back now that we live here in Fort Collins. If you're looking for an unforgettable experience in Fort Collins, Social is an absolute must-visit. Highly recommended!

They're rated really high -- actually one of the highest-rated restaurants in Fort Collins -- and from a food perspective I don't really understand why. Sliders with sweet potato fries -- fine, nothing extraordinary. Potato éclairs -- . It was really just mashed potatoes with some topping on it. I honestly didn't even finish it. Mountain oysters -- huge letdown. They came out so overcooked they were basically crunchier than potato chips, with the batter crumbling off. I've never had them before, so I didn't get a good representation of how they're supposed to be -- these were just super-cooked batter. On the space: we ended up sitting in three different spots to eat. We went outside by the street first -- super loud, and people were smoking, so we headed back in. The open spot inside was right under the AC and about forty degrees, so we moved to the back area. The back was fine -- covered -- but pretty dirty, with mop buckets and clutter sitting around. The one drink I had was a good value since we were there at happy hour -- some kind of fruity whiskey drink. It was fine, but nothing I'd seek out again. I hate to give such a friendly place a bad review. It'd be a really great spot if you're a college student who wants some cheap bites and a drink -- but honestly it's just bar food, and the ceiling is probably a 4 on a really good day. I wouldn't get excited to head down there, and parking is a bit of a hassle too. Would recommend only if you're after very cheap eats in that area -- check them out for happy hour. But I would not return.

Burger perfect medium. Fries were crispy, above average. I ordered the Mushroom Avocado burger, also medium. Burger was juicy, flavorful, and the tempura avocados were an interesting twist on the un-fried norm. First couple bites had some crisp but mostly the avocados got soggy halfway through. It is a fairly noisy place so I feel the upstairs was a little quieter and I was glad not to have been seated in one of several booths near the entrance with so many people standing and waiting on seating. Our server was nice and attentive, and the food came out rather quickly. I had an pleasant DC Oakes IPA and the Bomb Diggity hamburger with sweet potato fries. The burger was very tasty (a fat bomb) and with the fries was a substantial amount of food - I was only able to eat about half of it all. However, that burger had to be the saltiest burger I've ever eaten. Curious, I went to the DC Oakes website to find nutritional information about my meal and there is no nutritional information. A third-party website (Marcos.menu) offered the following on the Bomb Diggity: Calories: 1200; Protein: 50g; Carbs: 55g; Fat: 85g. Nothing about sodium. My wife is on a sodium-restricted diet and she knows not to order anything like this burger. But still, nutritional information would be nice to know. When do you plan on putting this information on your menu for your customers? I will return to sample more of their beer and food selections.
