Boat left 30 minutes late. We were charged $10 extra per person ($50) for a taxi ride that would have cost $20 round trip. They also only run return rides on the hour and expected us to wait around for 40 minutes for a ride back to our hotel. Snorkeling was very short and they did not disclose that we would be transported in an inflatable raft and not an actual boat. My boyfriend and I just got back from Cabo- we went snorkeling,horseback riding, boating....did a city tour But our FAVORITE activity of the whole trip was the CAMEL RIDES(and if your into bed strong hairy men with soft lips-be sure to snag a smooch from Hercules) We had Christopher as our guide-he is the most knowledgeable and funny tour guide that either of us have experienced. Everyone we met at Cabo adventures really seemed to be invested in making sure we had a great time as well as making us comfortable with the animals and environment. The camels are very clean and obviously well loved and taken care of The lunch buffet and free tequila tasting at the end was PERFECT and I only had to swallow two worms so overall not a bad deal. Update: Watch out when you get your bill for your excursions and review it carefully! I was overcharged approx $150 for 2 excursions here by the concierge team at my hotel, and I was told I could easily take care of it once I fully checked out and got home. That has not happened at all, and it has been an ongoing struggle to get a straight answer. I have been working with Cesar from my hotel and Aldo from Cabo Adventures via email to get a refund for the difference between the discounted price I was entitled to and the regular price they charged me. The refund I'm requesting amounts to less than 8% of my total bill for the hotel, and I'm frustrated that I was asked to pay in full before we were able to resolve the overcharging. When you book excursions with Cabo Adventures, be sure to verify the prices and get it in writing on your receipt! I won't be visiting here again or recommending it to others until this overcharge issue is fully resolved. ----- Swimming with a beautiful dolphin (Kahal) felt both exciting and inspiring. Eric helped us get acquainted with him in the water, and you could really tell he had a good relationship with the dolphin. Saul took some classy & also some funny photos of us that will definitely end up on our Instagram! The pricing was fair: $170/pp for 1 hour of time. The photos/videos were $200 and included some really cool shots! Then we decided to try indoor skydiving, and it was fantastic! Easy to get started but tough to master. Margarita was a great teacher, and Emmanuel made sure we were safe in the wind tunnel. Miguel ran the controls, and we felt very safe in their hands. I hope to try it again next time! read more

We always trust Cabo Adventures for our daily outdoor excursions whenever we happen to venture to Cabo San Lucas, they are the primary booking source of outdoor excursions at both of the all-inclusive resorts that we stayed at during our two different trips to Cabo. They are convenient, clean, fairly affordable option where all of their employees are bilingual which for this American is an absolute must. Another great aspect of the service with Cabo Adventures is that they provide a shuttle service which picks you up from your resort, along with a number of other hotel guests to take you to one of their two headquarters, one of which is located along the wharf in downtown Cabo San Lucas, while their second location is in the hotel zone in San Jose del Cabo. Both locations are air conditioned, have clean bathrooms, provide a snack bar with Starbucks coffee, and even have pools for dolphin excursions. But I did notice, not an ounce of WiFi at their headquarters, which for a company as large as Cabo Adventures is rather disappointing. On our most recent trip to Baja California, our main goal for our multi-day vacation was signing up for a motorized power snorkeling, as we saw many other travelers doing the last time we went scuba diving but the water was so choppy by lovers rock where they normally do it, it was cancelled at the very last minute. Apparently there was a miscommunication as when we get back to the hotel room later that day did we get a note that that that particular excursion was cancelled for the day. I can't blame Cabo Adventures for the weather causing cancellations for the excursions they provide, but I do wish they made the appropriate announcements over cancellations and other excursions were increased so we could enjoy as many alternatives as we can. I say this because there weren't many options left. So with this in mind, we had to chose swimming with the dolphins at the huge dolphin tanks they have at their headquarters where they even have an observation deck to see all of the action. We chose their swim and ride with dolphins experience, which lasts roughly twenty minutes where you can swim and take pictures with the dolphin they have on site. We split up into five different groups in the large tank where each group got to play with their own dolphin and things were explained to them with their own trainer. It is hot out there in the exposed atmosphere and although they give you a life jacket, you are required to take a shower as the sunblock with affect the water in the tank that the dolphins swim in. After our time out there, I did notice that other groups did have extra time in the water as it would seem as if we all paid the same entry fee but apparently there were in fact different tiers. After the fun and merriment were over, they get you at their picture center as they were 314 dollars for a packet with a video, while the cheapest option was about 200 dollars with no video. As you wait for your souvenir pictures and video, they give you two free quesadillas to nosh on in their baha bar which is a nice touch. We always use the services of Cabo Adventures when we do our regular excursion of zip lining high in the desert area of in Mira Flores in Baja California, where they drive at least a full hour away from the main headquarters in an air-conditioned shuttle, where after the fun of hiking, zip lining and even riding in an All-Terrain Vehicle with our guides, they again give you two free quesadillas as you wait for your rather expensive pictures to be produced. That of course is where they get you as you want to capture your experience and so the big sell will always happen at their photo center, whether you are snorkeling or scuba diving or doing any other excursion they will always make sure your experience is recorded. Keep in mind, they will have to have your snorkeling or fly boarding excursion if the waves are too rough in the ocean as this has happened to us on two separate occasions. I do want to say they need better tipping system for your guides and shuttle operators as a traveler one never brings cash on you as your excursion mostly involves water. For our dolphin adventure, it turns out we were the last program of the day so we had to wait an extra hour for the shuttle buses to come pick us up to take us back to our hotel. Nevertheless, despite the erratic scheduling, the fun adventures and solid service that Cabo Adventures provides is an option that I will always take advantage of whenever I am vacationing in Baja California! read more

This place seems to have all the adventures in Cabo on lock. They picked us up from the hotel no problem but I missed the $20 fee for that. We didn't get to choose who we sailed with but it worked out great. Out Captain was fun but strict. The food wasn't 5 star but it was good to me. The Guacamole was on point... needed a little salt. It was about a 30 minute sail and we set anchor in a neat little cove with other ships. They allowed us to swim and paddle board. Drinks flowed even to the point where a few folks had too much . TLDR: Costs - 2 adults ATV TOUR $318 / 1 print photo $40 --- My fiancé booked the ATV Tour with a guide at our hotel the Riu. Originally it was supposed to be $260 ($130 per person) but my fiancée was able to bargain and get the price to $208 which was still very expensive. Also, our guide was upfront about the additional fees which is a $20 entrance fee per person and $35 for insurance per person. So in total we paid $318 (in American dollars) and that's not even the best part. Our pick up time was 11:10 AM. Our driver was late and didn't pick us up until 11:30. With the other hotel pick ups and the transfer to the other driver it took us a little over a hour and 30mins to get to the Tierra Sagrada. Once you get there you have to check in and that's where you pay $20 for the entrance fee and $35 for the ATV insurance. After that you wait a bit for your ATV guide. Our guide was Richard and he was cool. He took us to the ATV area where you lock up your belongings, get a quick lesson on ATVs and get padded up. Riding the ATV was fun there's a guide in front of you and behind you so you feel safe. You ride in a single file line. This was my first time on an ATV and I enjoyed it. We rode the ATV for a little over an hour. I was honestly expecting it to be shorter but it was a nice long ride. Not sure what we were touring exactly just felt like a good ride on a warm day. There's a photographer taking pics of your group along the way and a drone following your group which was cool. I had my go pro strapped to my wrist which I'm grateful for because those pictures were pricey. More on that later. After your ATV tour you get the sand off and take a little bus ride to their buffet area. Before you eat you're suggested to check out your photos. For $140 you can get all your photos digital, but if you pay $170 you get 4 prints and the drone video. None of the photos they take is worth that money and neither is the drone video. We did end up getting one photo of us for $40 in paper sleeve thing. Another couple on the tour purchased the full package and sent the drone video to us which was kind of them. The buffet area was beautiful and the food was okay. I was expecting it to be seasoned since we were off the resort but that wasn't the case. Once lunch is done you do the tequila tasting. I'm not a big drinker so my fiancée had double. Finally you take the mini bus back to the entrance to get picked up to go to your hotel. We got back around 6 PM. Don't forget you're expected to tip the drivers, tip the guide, and tip the food servers. They say it's optional but stress it ever so often. All in total the entire experience was okay. I enjoyed myself on the ATV, however they need to get better with organizing the pick ups and drop offs. Also, with the price we paid I expected better food at least. If you've done an ATV tour before this one can be skipped. If you haven't done one and don't mind paying out the ass then this one is great. read more

I was told that the shuttle would not be able to pick us up from our AirBnb due to our location. With that said, the shuttle service was able to pick up everyone else from their resorts, even some that were out of the way. The tour guides are the best part of the experience. I did Arch + Camel and UTV tours. All the guides were exceptional especially Bill during the camel ride. Personable, humorous and fun people. The value and price gouging on certain things hurt the experience though. They basically don't allow you to take your own pictures during primary parts of any activity then try to sell you their own pics at the end for at least $100 USD. There's also fees like entering their ranch area 'Tierra Sagrada' (sp?) and UTV insurance that should just be included in the price. The pressure to tip at every turn of the trip (shuttle ride, tour, shuttle ride back) is also there. The ranch based experiences (zip line, camels and off-roading) also are ~1 hour away from downtown Cabo not including time to drop off and pick up people from other resorts. So those experiences should all be done in one day if you can since the driving eats up so much time. I think they should have photography just as an option when booking the trip at probably 50% of what they charge now. I think they would get at least as much buy in doing that way (out of a group of 10 maybe 1-2 buy photos from what I saw... I'm sure if it was a reasonable option up front they get more than that) and it would remove the sleazy feeling of trying to upsell during the experience. All fees should be included in the price up front and not as separate line items. Tips should be once at the end of the experience not at multiple points. read more

We were in Cabo San Lucas January 5/6 of 2022 and wanted to go whale watching. We researched several companies operating in the area and decided that the best one looked to be Cabo Adventures - a part of The Adventures Group which operates in Cabo, Puerto Vallarta, Cancun and Bahamas. So Cabo Adventures a Luxury Whale Watching Tour. So we booked with them. They have a really nice building right in the marina which was easy to find and it was easy to check-in. They had seating to wait until the tour started and it was only a short walk to the boat. The boat was a nice catamaran that had plenty of seating, a nice open forward deck, and a small kitchen with two bathrooms. Our crew of Jose, Joel, and Jacob welcomed us aboard and catered to our every need. The crew was extremely attentive and brought us drinks during the excursion. The crew was knowledgeable about whale locations and was able to find some very curious whales that were swimming up to the boat and underneath the boat that gave us amazing views of these magnificent animals. Everyone on the tour had an amazing time! So Cabo Adventures offers different tour such as sailing, ATV's, Camel Safari's, indoor skydiving, bike beach adventures, and snorkeling. We plan to be back in Cabo San Lucas in March and plan on doing the sailing with Cabo Adventures and also planning a trip to Puerto Vallarta and will use this same company as they are awesome. read more

As much as I loved our atv tour guide and the food at the end, the activity itself is already WAYY overpriced for Mexico (Was about $700 USD for 4 people). What they don't tell you before the trip and what was the biggest turn off about the whole thing, were the PICTURES!! They purposefully don't let you take any cameras or phones on the ride because they have photographers that take around 10-15 minutes before the actual adventure taking photos of your group, as well as throughout half of the rest of the trip. They then tell you that putting away all phones and cameras is mandatory because at the end of your trip, you're met with the options of choosing a $200 photo package, or $50 PER photo. After spending so much on the trip and tipping everyone along the way, you'd think that photos would either be included, or at the least, more reasonably priced. Staff became passive aggressive when I took my phone out around the computer we were viewing and wanted to see my camera roll to make sure I didn't take any pictures. We went on the luxury sailing excursions and had Vic as our guide. Vic was a really fun personality and great host. They even attempted to raise the sail, even though it was low wind, because someone was very interested in seeing it. We saw a ton of wildlife like manta ray school jumping out the water, whales, lots of fish snorkeling, and seals. They took us by the arch first which was very busy and underwhelming. But then took us south to a local beach where we snorkeled and ate lunch. The food was surprisingly really great for this type of excursion in comparison to others I've been on in the past. Cabo dolphins is an amazing adventure for the entire family. We loved our dolphin trainer Maria, our paparazzi Michelle, and our beautiful dolphin Nakai. We swam, we learned, and we had beautiful photos taken. We loved every moment with them all. Things to know when you're going: no hair ties, jewelry, or watches are allowed in the water, you must put your belongings in the lockers which cost $20 American (they return the $20 when you return the key), towels are provided, the water is super salty so be aware, and enjoy every second! Also, there is no photography allowed from your own camera, but if you have a photographer like Michelle, you will have every moment captured. And you will be pleased! Our photos were amazing and we had great video footage also. Be sure you budget the cost of these photos into your trip because you will not regret it! Maria was excellent, encouraging us to show love and affection to Nakai. She has been a trainer for a few years and she is an expert. She is kind and friendly and allowed each member of the family special time with Nakai. Went for the Snorkel and Sea adventure and Alexi was an excellent guide! The trip began with a little history of the area and a closeup view of Lover's Beach and the Arco. Unfortunately the weather was leaning toward tumultuous, so we could not go to the usual snorkeling spot. We went to a spot about a ten minute boat ride away. The visibility wasn't great for snorkeling, but there were plenty of colorful fish. The guides also provided kayaks, sea scooters, paddle boards and other water toys for our enjoyment. I have a lot of experience with Vallarta Adventures. They have always been excellent. Cabo Adventures appears to be an offshoot of the same company and they seemed great. Good activities. Easy to book. Expensive but you get what you pay for and Vallarta adventures has always had good guides and delivers as promised and more. So I was happy to book with Cabo Adventures. All seemed good until it came to actually doing the activities. First they called me to cancel our snorkeling activity with whale sharks on Tuesday and asked if I could book for the Wednesday. I moved our schedule and booked for the Wednesday. Then they called on Wednesday day and said that the whale sharks tour was canceled. They explained that this was due to a governmental decision and the protected status of the area where the sharks reside. Obviously, we were upset, but understood completely as they clearly can't control nature. During both of those phone calls, I confirmed that we were still confirmed for a separate snorkeling adventure to Cabo Pulmo on Thursday. On both Tuesday and Wednesday they confirmed our Thursday activity, but then called on Wednesday evening to cancel Thursday's activity explaining that it was due to the strong winds. I understand that nature is unpredictable, but at the same time there are tide and weather forecasts. If they were following these at all, they would have known that the weather looked poor for Thursday. So rather than going on two excursions, we were canceled from both. Super frustrating as if they had just been straightforward with us in the beginning and paid attention to the weather forecast we could have booked our tours for different days. If they didn't have availability during those other days, we could have booked with other companies. The long and the short of it is either they are being purposefully misleading or they aren't paying enough attention to the weather when this is so clearly very important for their activities. Beware! And do your own research before you rely on them for your holiday plans. read more

DISCOVER DIVING: I advise against this experience. You learn all the medical restrictions for diving 10 minutes before you gear up, which puts people in the position of losing their money or smoothing over medical issues and hoping for the best. This happened to one member of my group. Most of the people I worked with - Arturo, Patricia - were great, but a primary staff member and dive guide was visibly irritated when I brought up safety concerns, which is inappropriate for diving. I'm sorry to say I didn't get his name, but you'll recognize him when he's upset that the second pair of fins you tried didn't work for you. Or when he says, "So do you faint or not?" He rushed me when we were descending in the ocean, which is dangerous and dismissed my concern about the cold. Every member of our group tour except for the biggest guy ended up shivering uncontrollably because our wetsuits weren't thick enough for the water, which in my mind is an organizational issue. Thicker wetsuits, hoods, and boots feel most appropriate for the dive we did. Also, the fish were pretty - and all the same ones you can see in the Marina. ZIP LINING AND UTV TOUR - Incredible. I'd give this team 5 stars separately, because every guide was highly attentive to safety and the experience itself was fantastic. I loved the final zip line and felt totally safe at the UTV tour. As other reviewers mentioned, the unlimited quesadillas are amazing! My one suggestion is to add a fan in the eating area for this tour, because it's disconcerting seeing a cloud of flies divebombing your food. This is easily remedied and the rest of the experience is perfect. I am so grateful I chose it! DOLPHIN EXPERIENCE - Extremely disturbing and cruel that they have captive dolphins who exist in a small, otherwise empty pool so tourists can take pictures with them. I didn't do this and encourage you not to; it's really like having big dogs live forever in a small kennel, or like all of us during the COVID-19 quarantine. We were depressed, and I have no doubt the dolphins are depressed. See the movie Blackfish for info on how dolphins decide to die in captivity, if it's helpful in deciding. Tips: 1. If you can walk to the Cabo Adventures building easily, you can ask them to remove the $10 transport fee. 2. YOU CANNOT EVER GET A FULL REFUND. In the fine print, there's a line about a 10% admin fee being retained if you cancel at ANY TIME, so if you book a $120 tour for your family of four and need to cancel, they keep $48 regardless. And so on. So be absolutely sure before booking! 3. It's a freeing experience to just give up on the idea of having photos of your tour or resign yourself in advance to paying $100 for the beautiful photos staff members take. You'll encounter this practice regardless of which tour you take. read more

Me, my husband, and our son just returned from a Carnival Panorama cruise. We booked the Cabo Tandem Jet Ski Adventure with Paco and his crew. We'd never been on a jet ski before and we were a little nervous. Especially after seeing how choppy the water was that day. However, Paco and his crew (*so sorry we can't remember the other three crew members' names), were so professional, as well as personable, we quickly realized we were completely safe and it was going to be a great time. Paco did an excellent job explaining how to operate the jet skis, the formation rules and hand signals, and how we could all communicate with the others on the boat for support as needed. Getting on and off the boat was easy with their assistance, the boat ride was smooth, and everything was well organized - with a smile. My husband and son took to jet skiing right away and had a blast. I started feeling seasick so I decided to go back on the boat. I signaled my desire to go onboard and was very quickly picked up and offered water. I truly wish I could remember the two crew members (the captain was busy driving) who entertained me with stories while the others jet skiid, and then comforted me when I inevitably threw up over the side of the boat! No problem. They've seen it all and it was just another day for them, and I had a great time "boating" with them. The crew also had to deal with a difficult family who didn't follow the rules. The entire time the crew members were encouraging, patient, fun, and professional. I was so impressed with their dedication to providing a safe and fun experience regardless of these three challenging passengers. They succeeded. Everyone was smiling when we left the excursion. This crew worked flawlessly together and their upbeat attitude, thoughtfulness, and attention to our needs was truly exceptional. Considering how fantastic everything went, we will plan another excursion with Cabo Adventures next year when we return. We saw so many whales that were close to our boat...and learned really interesting and fun facts about whales and other sea life! We had such a fun adventure on the large inflatable raft and were even able to hear whale sounds with a hydrophone. The guides were wonderful, we felt very safe, guides were friendly and informative. Razz, provided really great information to us. The captain, Nelson, and photographer, Fernando, were great as well. We only wish our entire family was with us to enjoy this amazing experience! We took a sunset dinner sailboat adventure on July 16 at 6pm. The experience was very enjoyable with our guide Franco. I am, however, very disappointed with the way we were treated after the tour. We paid $70 for photos from the trip since this was our honeymoon. The woman in the photo department claims that she transferred the photos to our phone but several of the best ones are missing. I have called and emailed Oscar Zepeda (supervisor) many times but have yet to hear anything back from him. Every time I call to ask about my request, the customer service transfers me to the photo department where I wait on hold for over 20 minutes until finally it just hangs up! Very rude customer service and I would NOT recommend this company to anyone now. read more

A HORRIBLE experience and beyond a DECEITFUL COMPANY! Do yourself and favor and DO NOT book with Cabo Adventures. We booked a PRIVATE Luxury Catamaran for 8 guests. The Catamaran has capacity for 30 guests, but our group was only 8. Everything started out fine but deteriorated as the day went on. THE BAR The "Premium Drinks" were absolutely terrible. We would have gladly brought our own beverages had we known they would be serving the cheapest alcohol with the worst mixers. Example: the champagne served was those $6 bottles of André. A complete joke. For the $3,000 paid, they could have certainly done a LOT more. PHOTOGRAPHY We did not ask or request a photographer to join the boat, so when there was one on board to take our photos, we didn't think twice about it since it was not disclosed in any of the contracts, emails, or on their own site that photography was only available for purchase at the end of the trip. Since we were not informed at any point during the booking process or the trip that the photography was not included, the majority of the group put their phones away and enjoyed the private cruise and we took ZERO photos to remember our friends 40th birthday. Even when you look at their site for the private vs group options it is very clearly communicated (which I also have screenshots of) On the GROUP tour it states: What's excluded / Available for purchase: Photos On the PRIVATE tour it only states: What's excluded: Gratuities We tipped the crew VERY generously which also included an extra tip for the photographer as we were still under the impression that these were included. It was only when we left the boat and they walked us back to the main center that we realized we were absolutely screwed and that they were going to ask for money for the only photos we took on the boat. We tried desperately to work with them on a fair and honest price, even though we were not prepared to spend anymore money for this excursion. The photographer was super sweet but her managers would not allow her to reduce the rate. My best guess is they don't usually include a photographer on Private Tours (unless requested), but they saw a group of 8 Americans renting an entire Catamaran and assumed we had deep pockets and would pay up for the photos. As I said in the beginning, extremely DECEITFUL. We then spent a full hour trying to speak to ANY manager or supervisor and we were only given the runaround with no business card or contact info to reach out to following our excursion. They simply did not care. It would make more sense to make something, rather than NOTHING as we then walked away with no photos. THE BOAT + CREW The crew was very respectful and friendly and while the cocktails were awful, the scenery was nice and they did their best to get us as close as possible to all of the whales which was nice. However, we stopped to snorkel and relax for about an hour and they literally parked the boat DIRECTLY IN FRONT of a huge complex under CONSTRUCTION. So all we heard was DRILLING for an hour which completely ruined the afternoon and was anything but relaxing. There were dozens of places they could have anchored and they parked us right in front of the WORST spot possible. The 20+ minutes inside the water were so spent on posing with the dolphin so they can chop your head off later. You don't do anything else with the dolphins other than posing for pictures. They don't even charge those prices in the US ! read more

This place is a scam in so many ways. Took part in two adventures and they completely opposite overall. The luxury sail was great all around from beginning to end. The photo package was $60 for 77 photos. We were picked up and returned to same location. The second adventure - we left from the main office on the marina and traveled to another town to pick up another group. Upon arrival during the safety briefing they fear factor you into locking up your cellphone because of risk. Never seen any on the 7 zipline experiences, climbing, hiking trails that my phone would have been at risk. Zip pocket shorts were certain of that. Upon returning and an opportunity to tip the crew, we were led to the photographer area. $109 for 44, $129 for photos and videos, $179 for above and a book of the photos. Not spectacular about the shots that our phones couldn't have matched. Our return was the next chaos adventure. They dropped multiple groups off at hotels. Since we left from the marina office area we expected to be returned there. We were dropped off on the complete opposite side and had to walk almost a mile to the office area. Spoke with the manager and really nothing but I will talk to someone. Mentioned the owner reads reviews so put it there. He pointed me to the manager over their photo operations and he basically said it is what it is and blew me off. So if you are expecting good customer service or fair pricing, try another company. read more

We visited Cabo San Lucas last month and wanted to make the most of our trip, so we looked up a few different companies that provided outdoor activity services. We saw a lot of really great reviews for Cabo Adventures and ended up booking a jet ski excursion and a dolphin encounter. The jet ski excursion was booked for about 3 hours and the actual time on the jet skis was probably just over an hour in open water. I ended up not feeling too hot on the jetski and chose to end my ride early and the crew was really understanding and friendly once I got back on the actual boat. We also got a speedy (easily upwards of 45 mph on choppy water) and exciting tour of the Arc of Cabo. It was really exhilarating and then we headed back to shore for an included lunch. We went back the next day for the dolphin encounter, which was about 30 minutes. Because we had such a small group, we each got to do a few extra rides/hugs/kisses with the dolphin. The trainer was super knowledgeable and friendly, so it was a great time overall. It also felt very safe and the animals appeared to be very well cared for. The only reason I'm giving 4 stars is due to the exceedingly high prices for these activities, but we honestly had a great time, so I could see us using their services again if we go back to Cabo. read more

Worst experience in Cabo. You're told you can't have any phones on you during the dolphin experience so, they can up-sale you on pictures that are extremely pricey. I thought I would be able to buy some pictures from my experience, especially since it was my birthday but, the company doesn't allow you to buy singles and their cheapest package is $250. I tried to speak to the manager about making an exception because it was so important to me to have at least one photo memory from this experiences but, instead I was offered a 50% discount which told me the prices weren't set in stone. Most of the pictures in my package were of the dolphins and were duplicates of the same photo, which is the reason why I didn't want to pay for the full package. Then when I asked if certain pictures could be emailed, I provided my email but was pretty much brushed off. The photos were horrible quality and this place ruined my bday experience. I do not recommend unless you don't mind paying hundred of dollars for pictures that are horrible quality. The staff should be upfront and although there were by standers taking photos on their own, if we knew we could have cameras filming for us we would have done so since my sister had a dgi camera that stand on its own, compact, and rotates to capture moments. We were told we couldn't bring anything and had put everything in lockers. I only wanted one photo with dolphin kissing me and was robbed of the whole experience. We've done 1-2 excursions every Fall for the last 8 years - minus COVID. They have great prices, free transportation back/forth to the hotel, and their staff are amazing. Highly recommend them. read more

Sunset sail was absolutely amazing! The staff was wonderful. Everything is clean and so well run. From transportation from the hotel all the way through. We were even able to see the whales, a sea lion and stingrays. Will for sure do this every time we come back. read more

DO NOT BOOK better off going to a different company.They have a no phone policy even when you are not on the camel or atv, you can't even take a picture of you with the gear on, or standing next to the camel. They then try and charge $75 USD !!! for ONE PICTURE! And $560 usd for all the photos. I can literally buy the same camera for half that price. Completely hound and stop you from taking ANY pictures .On top of that the atv and camel ride WERE NOT ONE HOUR EACH!! Be prepared for 20-30 minutes of ride time with the rest of your time listening to safety instructions and waiting for your guide. I was forcefully slowed down to 25 miles an hr to "keep up with another guest" and they divided and split my family up to slow us down while the rest of my family was having the time of their lives AT FULL SPEED. We were a full 5 minutes behind my group due to how slow we were forced to drive. The best and only good experience here was Alina our camel guide and tour guide she was AMAZING sweet, informative, I learned so many beautiful things about the land and really enjoyed her company! We decided to do ATV tour on our trip to Cabo. When we picked this place, the fees were reasonable... or so we thought. First we (2 adults and a kid) got picked up and delivered to our destination. Standard procedure to be honest. At the location, the first thing they wanted us to do is pay. Mind you, we already paid for ATVs. This was payment for entrance to their Eco Farm ($20×2 + $10) and ATV damage fees ($35×2) this is not a damage deposit, it is not refundable. This is just a fee. Total $120 of fees I wasn't really expecting. After that we went to the eco farm. It is nothing more than a petting zoo with some donkey, sheep, ponies and goats. Chocolate making lecture was alright. Gotta taste authentic chocolate which was grainy and bitter. But it is a part of experience I didn't mind. Next we got our safety rental gear which was pretty old, beat up and barely held on with velcro that should have been thrown away years ago. They also asked us to leave all our belongings in locker, and. Made huge emphasis on leaving our phones, as a "safety" issue. ATVs were ok, but a few had starting issues from what I could see. The main part of the "adventure" was ok. It was too slow for me, but I can see why they had to pace it with many riders of different level. Since I didn't have my phone with me, I could not time it, but it felt like the ride was about 20 minutes of snail pace. 30 minute break for photos and water. And 10 minutes of ok speeds back to base. It was over just as I got into it. Then they wanted $105 PER PERSON for pictures. And that was the "cheapest" deal available. Give me a break. I refused to pay anywhere near that. The included meal was very plain and bland. Cheap beer and tequila tasting were fine. In the end, the whole experience left a very bitter taste in my mouth. Not pleasant bitter, like that hand made chocolate, but way worse. Yes, they did what was promised, but hidden fees made it an awful experience. The corporate greed and very shady tactics make me want to throw up and never deal with them again. They lure you in with cheaper prices for tours and then rip you off with a whole avalanche of other fees and extortionate prices for pictures. I hate greedy, shady corporations like this. They bank on the fact that you are more likely to pay those prices for pictures if they know you dont have any other ones. Think of how much everyone absolutely hates Ticketmaster. Now you can equate Cabo Adventures to Ticketmaster. Overall I would highly advise you to stay as far away from them as possible. Yes they provide ok service, but I have had a way better value,literally everywhere else in Mexico, doing anything else. Stay Away!!! PS. My more diplomatic partner has negotiated the price for pictures down yo $70, but that was at the very end, right as we were leaving. You can try to negotiate prices with them, but i would still just stay as far away as possible from these greedy basterds. read more

Amazing experience!! The guides were hilarious and made us all feel safe. Big cheers for Ladis, Brandon, Joel, and Dioney for being the best support we could ask for!! Also, David was taking pictures right along side all of us and got some good ones! This was my family and sisters favorite experience for the entire trip. For those intimidating by longer zip lines or hike they have lots of options to cater to all. Definitely do this activity in the morning to avoid the heat though.
