    Cute white tables and decoration!
    Diego M.

I was craving Peruvian food (my favorite cuisine) for dinner and decided to go to Cabo Blanco for the first time. Had a good impresion upon arrival with the cute decoration. We get to pick the table which we decided to take a high top table on the side to appreciate the whole restaurant. Our server (Elias) came right away welcoming us nicely. Ordered drinks (beers) and food (aji de gallina and pollo salteado). We got everything within 5 minutes and it was delicious. Definitely I'll come back to this restaurant and I recommend it. Great job

I decided to take a quick stop at Cabo Blanco for lunch with my mom. The Decore inside the location was quite surprising, definitely not what I was expecting. I had a nice trendy vibe, that you do not usually see in this type of strip malls. The service was a little off and... Granted it was during lunch rush, but the server did not come and greeter table till 10 minutes after, luckily we knew what we wanted and put our order in ASAP. Their lunch prices look very fair, but my mom and I opted to share their dinner Chaufa de Mariscos and cancha to get started. Being as how old this is our go to dish whenever we visit Peruvian restaurants, I will say that it was a little off from the usual. The flavor was good and the portion size was excellent to be shared. The only thing that threw me off was the color of the rice, usually it's a little darker. Nonetheless the rice to seafood was on point. I was also surprised that the appetizer that we ordered was a sufficient size. Overall, I will definitely be back. Maybe just not when I'm in a rush

They are advertising $9.99 entrees all day long, but we ordered 2 things from that advertised menu and neither were the $9.99 that they are posting to their social media pages. Pollo Saltado and Pescado Sudado. They were $14.99 and 13.99. It was so hot inside the restaurant too . I so badly wanted to like this place but the pollo Saltado was lacking flavor and just tasted odd. Like a weird chemical or oil or something was coating the chicken.

Ordered 2x from here. Overall food is very good. Arroz Chaufa De Mariscos has a slight odd taste (and we've eaten plenty of Peruvian food including this dish.) Sending different sauces would be a nice touch with a $55+ order each time. Also, takeout packing needs to be improved. Order leaked all over the bag each time. Ordered Tres leches but sadly, didn't get to try. Instead received the Alfajor which is a very tasty cookie delicacy (at $2.75 for one, pretty expensive) but I guess this is standard. The ceviche pescado was delicious. Mixto was also very good. Fried yucca with the green sauce is a must! Overall, I would say it's good food, reasonably priced and it was a great option for us on Doordash. We've also gone to Bravo, which was very good as well and ordered from Koustine (pricey but good.) We will continue to try new ones and I will add reviews as I go along.

    TALLARIN SALTADO CON CAMARONES

i 'discovered' Cabo Blanco by going to my eye doctor when the former was on Oakland Park Boulevard in a shopping center just west of Dixie Highway. A few years later they moved to their new location which wasn't as convenient as the old one but after going to the Regal Cinemas which was near 62nd street we would go to Cabo Blanco. I do know that I eventually had all of their 30 luncheon specials https://caboblancocypress.business.site/ and 'fell in love' with number 26--Tallarin Saltado con Camerones--Shrimp, fresh tomatoes, green peppers, onions, scallions, spices, soy sauce served on linguini and I have had it an uncountable number times since I discovered it! When COVID hit we stopped going to the Regal theatres and Cabo Blanco staying closer to The Gateway and AMC Coral Ridge theatres. There wasn't any movie we wanted to see and had Friday free so we decided to take the 7-mile trip there from my place and I am so glad we did. The restaurant is as good as ever. At lunchtime they serve a cup of fresh chicken soup--watch for the bones!--and I had the number 26! They have gone up a little in price but it still was loaded with Shrimp and fresh-cut vegetables, piled high on the pasta and was as delicious as ever! I wouldn't hesitate to recommend any other of the other 29 specials not to mention ordering off the regular menu as I have. https://order.online/store/cabo-blanco-restaurant-3-fort-lauderdale-1255586/?hideModal=true&pickup=true It is a gem of a restaurant and on my list of top 10 dining places to take visitors! Might even have my 22nd Leap Year birthday party there!

Solid lunch spot with Groupon. Was literally across the street helping a friend move out of a storage unit and opened yelp to see what was near. Then I see Pete mention Groupon and I thought I'd give this spot a try and could order a little extra to get a better evaluation of the place. I always order more if I use Groupon. We ordered the lunch churrasco, yuca with cheese sauce, and ceviche al rocoto. All were delicious. And the three sauces were so nice especially the hot green one. I'll definitely be back for lunch especially if they stay on Groupon. With so many places in the area for lunch competition is so stiff so Groupon gives this place a bonus in my book.

Who packs a soup into a styrofoam container? Those guys do and blame it on the delivery driver when it spills. They refused to replace or refund the money. Also can you spot the black hair hanging in there?

Great Peruvian Food. They remodeled and it looks great. The food is still delicious and the seafood is always fresh. Courteous staff and good music. If I'm the mood for Ceviche, Lomo Saltado, Anticucho, Papa a la Huancaina and a Delicious Jalea (fresh, crispy and not oily) this is your place. Don't forget your Inca Cola. Que Viva PERU!

I came here with my boyfriend for a quick bite the other night. He said he was in the mood for an ethnic steak dish. I had been here once before and I loved it so I thought this was the place to go to. This restaurant is definitely a hole in the wall but it is clean and the inside is attractive. We ordered the " Tallarin Saltado De Carne " Seared Steak Tid Bits / Onions / Tomatoes / Served Over Linguini DELICIOUS! The linguini is amazing! It's coated with this oily sauce that has the consistency of soy sauce almost so it's not too heavy. The onions and tomatoes were perfectly cooked. They had a lot of flavor for sure. The steak was very good as well! The serving size is huuugggeee so I had a lot left over to take home. The prices here are great. For the amount of food you get and the quality of the food you can't not give this place a try. The service is fast and my waiter was very nice. I will continue to come here! **The photo from my previous visit is the "Pollo Saltado" which is chicken bits, onions, and tomatoes over French fries.

If you're driving a larger truck, be aware that parking is available but pretty tight. Once inside, we were warmly greeted by the host, who was incredibly friendly and escorted us to our table. Our waitress was just as wonderful--attentive, personable, and made sure we had everything we needed throughout our meal. There was music playing everyone there was enjoying themselves. Since it was Tuesday, we both ordered the all-you-can-eat fried catfish special for $21.99. They start you off with hush puppies and coleslaw, and when your meal arrives, you get your choice of a side. We both chose the fries. The portions were generous, with plenty of crispy fried catfish on the plate. The fish itself had great flavor, was perfectly crispy, and wasn't over-breaded. The hush puppies were delicious, and the French fries were cooked just right. My husband, who considers himself a bit of a coleslaw connoisseur, really enjoyed the coleslaw. I wasn't as impressed with it, but that's just my personal preference. My biggest disappointment was the tartar sauce. For a restaurant that's been around as long as Catfish Dewey's, I expected a homemade tartar sauce. Instead, it came in a pre-packaged container and tasted overwhelmingly of onion. Unfortunately, it just wasn't for me. If I were rating everything individually, I'd give the catfish a 7/10, the hush puppies an 8/10, the fries an 8/10, the coleslaw a 5/10, and the tartar sauce a 0/10. Overall, we enjoyed our visit, especially the friendly service and the crispy catfish. While it wasn't the best fried catfish we've had, it was still a good meal. As I always say, don't let my opinion make your decision. Everyone's taste is different, so go try it for yourself and form your own opinion. You might love it!

We chose to sit outside to enjoy the view. It was a little warm, but definitely worth it for the scenery. We ordered the shrimp sushi roll and the fresh catch branzino. We were in town a few weeks ago (yes, I'm negligent in my reviews - damn life getting in my way)…read morevisiting family and decided on dinner here, based on a positive experience of one of my dining partners. The location is lovely, overlooking the ocean. If it were cooler a patio spot would have definitely added to the experience. First, I need to be an old lady for two things: 1. The super tiny font on the menu. I could make out the menu item name but reading the fine print of the description was damned near impossible. While the ambiance-lighting may have contributed to the difficulty, I feel like they could have chosen a better, and bigger, font. 2. Noise level - it was awful. I will *never* understand why restaurant decorators fail to address a noise level. It was awful. We were with my elderly Aunt and WE were having difficulties, so I know she was. All three of us have been in the restaurant business and that was quite literally the first thing we commented on when we sat down. That aside our experience was terrific. The area where this is located is nice, shared parking nearby, and a number of places to walk by and look in or eat at (we did not do that ourselves). We did not make reservations and didn't have to wait too long for a table (it was summer, so I'd suggest reservations during the cooler months). Our waiter was Ariel and he was fantastic. I have a couple of food issues that helped me to make sure that I was able to work around. I ended out getting the Shrimp & Grits without the ham and it was super good. It was a little too much creole sauce for me, but still tasty. The portion was plentiful. One of my dining partners received a dish that I believe was also creole spiced and it was too spicey for her. Ariel helped her find something else to eat and took care of it immediately. Because of my delay, I totally forgot what my third dining partner ordered but she was pleased with her dish. (she was the repeat visitor, so I *know* she enjoys the place. Even though the noise level was dreadful during our entire visit, our visit was a good one. Thank you for reading my review.

Sea Mario has been bookmarked on my Yelp for over a year. While trying to make some Valentine's…read moreplans, my husband asked where I wanted to go, and I immediately thought of this restaurant. Even a few weeks in advance, Valentine's Day was already booked, so we made a reservation for Valentine's eve. This is not a restaurant I would come to without a reservation because I saw people get turned away. Located in an unassuming little strip mall, you would never know that there is a sparkling gem of a place tucked in the middle of the shops. Parking can be a little tricky, but we were able to snag a spot in front. Inside, this quaint restaurant has such welcoming decor in black-and-white with some accent colors. There are lots of little knickknacks and decorations from Italy. When we entered, we were greeted by one of the owners, Nadia. We had a short wait before our table was ready. When seated, Nadia went over all the specials and answered our questions regarding her recommendations on the menu. Her husband, Mario, also assists with serving. He also greeted us later during our dinner to check in about our meal. Now let's get to the heart of this review...the food. As someone with Sicilian heritage, I have been fortunate to visit Italy and have had some pretty amazing fresh seafood and pasta dishes there. And of course, I've had wonderful Italian restaurant experiences here as well. But I have to say, Sea Mario tops the list. Before I discuss the food menu, I just want to point out they have an extensive wine list. The menu offers several selections whether one is vegetarian, wants steak/lamb instead of pasta, or has come here for the dishes 'di mare.' We started off with an appetizer. Arancini rice balls with mushrooms and cheese. The Arancini balls flanked a bowl of stracciatella cheese. This was a special appetizer not on the regular menu. It was fantastic and dare I say luxurious? (Please put in on the regular menu!) For our main courses, my husband had the Fettuccini Florida Golden Crab & Scallops. It was Caribbean Italian fusion inspired with a flavorful, but not (hot) spicy, pasta sauce. I opted for the Maine Lobster Catalana. I have had my share of seafood pasta dishes throughout my life, but when this entree was placed in front of me, the aroma was so fragrant that I knew I was in for something special. The pasta sauce was made with high-quality tomatoes and caramelized onions (which I think really aided this sauce and made it different). The dish had clams and, of course, succulent lobster tail and the claw meat. The lovely aroma was not a tease because the dish tasted excellent. If having freshly made pasta with lobster sounds appealing to you, this is the dish to get. (They make their own pasta and the seafood is very fresh.) We ended our meal by sharing a fresh cannoli. The shell was not hard like a typical cannoli, rather it had the consistency of a doughnut. The ricotta filling with pistachio was absolutely out of this world. The plate was beautifully decorated with a berry drizzle in the shape of a seahorse. As you can tell, I'm pretty smitten with Sea Mario. I definitely want to return to this romantic restaurant for our anniversary later this year. Thank you for the incredible service and dishes.
