The fish ceviche was very good & fresh. It states fried fish - well I expected an entire fish, nope fish bites. Looks like kids mini nuggets. Seafood rice I had one calamari & one shrimp. I also ordered lomo saltado sandwich for my husband. If it's a sandwich fries are not included. I brought the food home I personally didn't like the sweet after taste the lomo had. My friend ordered papa la hauncaina not a hint of aji amarillo. My friends daughter ordered tallarine verde with chicken it had to be sent back. Not the best location, in a strip mall with a check cashing joint neigbhbor, away from the main Drive. However, the food is delicious! Lots of Peruvian classics done well. Boliyucas: A lot of fun. Stuffed fried mashed yuca balls with lots of melty cheese inside. Not sure I've had this before, it was quite innovative. Jalea: A great shared appetizer. Looks of fun fried seafood. I found the fried shrimp to be the tastiest though the calamari is always appreciated. Sweet Plantains: Technically a side, but this can be treated like an appetizer. Like cooked bananas, but so much better. Lomo Saltado: Their steak chunks were very tasty and the sauce was nice and Asian inspired. Only issue is that it felt a little skimpy on the beef. Aji de Gallino: A fan favorite at the table. Creamy cheesy yellow sauce with a little pepper kick. Lots of stringy pulled chicken and some boiled potatoes. Such a unique dish. Pargo Frito: I love me some fried red snapper. It's a must when I'm in Florida since you don't really get it in other parts of the country. Theirs was meaty and tasted so fresh. Stopped for lunch at this Peruvian place on a weekday and had a delightful meal. There is a decent amount of parking, and the restaurant is quite large, seating about 70-80. We shared a Seco de Res (beef stew) lunch special that came with fish ceviche ($19.99 for both). The ceviche was enough for two and nicely marinated. But while hubby had no problems with the fish, I got a few fatty pieces that I could not chew. The stew was cooked with cilantro and had a great flavor with moist, melt-in-your mouth beef. The meal also came with Canario beans (that were a bit mushy) and rice. There was a little leftover that I took home for a snack. We also had an order of Lomo Saltado, which is beef tenderloins with onions and tomatoes. It was good but the beef was in big chunks and they could have been cut a bit thinner. The meat also was a tad salty but not enough to spoil the great flavor. Our bill was $56 for the $19.99 lunch special, a full-size entree, tax, and tip. Disappointing Service and No Response from the Owner I have been a loyal Bravo customer for several years and have always enjoyed the food and atmosphere, which makes this review particularly disappointing to write. During my most recent visit, I had a very unpleasant experience with our server. From the beginning, her demeanor came across as rude and inattentive. When we ordered a bottle of wine, service was slow and she appeared unprepared, even having difficulty opening the bottle. As the evening progressed, the service continued to be frustrating. Something as routine as boxing leftovers became an issue, creating unnecessary delays at the end of our meal. The interaction left me feeling unwelcome and disappointed. I was also concerned by the server's extremely long fingernails while handling food-related items. While others may have a different opinion, I personally found it unsanitary and unprofessional. Because I have supported Bravo for years, I chose not to immediately leave a public review. Instead, I made multiple attempts to address the matter privately. I reached out directly to the owner, Vanesa, through Instagram, left her a message, and also called the restaurant asking to speak with her directly. I left my name and phone number in hopes of discussing the situation before posting publicly. Unfortunately, my message was never returned, and I never received a response. The food remains one of the reasons I have continued to return over the years, but customer service and management responsiveness are equally important. As a long-time customer, I expected better from both the service I received and the follow-up afterward. As a result of this experience, I will be taking my business elsewhere and visiting other Peruvian restaurants in the area, including Ceviche Barrio Peruvian Cuisine, Salimar Ceviche Bar, and Sardi Peruvian Cuisine. I sincerely hope Bravo takes customer feedback more seriously in the future. read more

Definitely one of my favorite Peruvian restaurants in Fort Lauderdale. The place is clean and has an inviting atmosphere while the service is very friendly. Server didn't talk much about the menu so we had to google search what we were getting into. At the end the food was exceptional and didn't disappoint. I wanted to like this restaurant. My favorite food is ceviche. The server Angel was very attentive and friendly. However, the food was unseasoned. Which is very strange for Latin food. It was super bland. Also we opted for the $19.99 lunch special and they charged me $6 for my chicha morada which as you can see in the lunch menu should be included in the price. My daughter did not like the texture of her ceviche. It tasted like tilapia, which is the cheapest way to make ceviche. It should be made with grouper, flounder, sole, or corvina. There are others you can substitute, but not tilapia as it makes your ceviche feel like flan. Our lunch total for 2 people was $75. Don't get sucked into the lunch special. It's not worth it. We eat here at Bravo today in a big group and Emily served us extremely well! She was so kind and had 5 star service. The food was so delicious, everyone had something different and it was decadent!! Pictured is el seco de Res and arroz de Mariscos. We also tried the chicha morada, so refreshing and the perfect amount of sweet. My friend drove me to this place and I was like wow this is a spacious spot! They had plenty of bar seating and dining tables, and the decor was lovely! We were seated immediately and given water. I got ceviche was was deeeeeelicious -- and to stay with the seafood theme, got the pescado a la criolla (fish filet with rice and potatoes). It was a hearty amount of food, and it was delicious. I got a pisco sour as well... I learned that it's Peru's national drink! I enjoyed it thoroughly, and then mixed it with my friend's passion fruit juice... WHEW! I decided to get picarones to go... I had no intention of doing dessert, but my arm was twisted. Picarones are Peruvian donuts... and these were made with pumpkin and sweet potato, and came with this amazing sauce / syrup. Once upon a time, I frequented Miami... Peruvian food was a staple we loved and have been so disappointed by the Peruvian offerings in my area. And then there is my father wanting to bring me to BRAVO but I was hesitant due to all the previous Peruvian let-downs. Reluctantly, I joined him and as we stepped into the restaurant, it became clear that my pop has not only been here recently but he must've be the life of some party because I was in ahhh that quite a few of the staff were so excited to see him. We ordered a pitcher (carafe) of SANGRIA and an order of MIXTO CEVICHE DE LA CASA (the mixto includes fish, shrimp, octopus, calamari and mussels)... they have plenty of other ceviche options but how can you pass on the "Mixto" ! We also shared a PULPO ANTICUCHERO (aji panca marinated grilled octopus with roasted potatoes and Peruvian corn with chimichurri sauce; this dish was unreal and in hindsight, I wish I ordered another one for my main dish. For my main, I ended up ordering a classic Peruvian dish, LOMO SALTADO; which is cuts of steak with onions, tomatoes, fries with a brown sauce/gravy over it over (and served with white rice). My pops went with the CHURRASCO A LA PARRILLA (churrasco steak with chimichurri sauce served with roasted potatoes and an arugula salad. Every time I visit Wilton Manors, I want to stop in for a meal at Bravo! The servers are always so friendly and the atmosphere is nice with dim lights and space between tables.
