Unlike Bravo, it's centrally located on the Drive. Very lively gay crowd for dinner, loved the ambiance. Though the food at Bravo is a tad better. Tallarin Saltado w/ Beef: I'm normally a Lomo Saltado guy, but do love to mix things up with Tallarin (when available). I was happy to see it on the menu here. It's essentially lomo saltado without the fries or rice, but noodles instead. While I missed the fries, the noodles were superior to white rice. It had that great soy saucy flavor and some nice chunks of seared steak. Pisco Sour: Nice foamy top with a rum/citrus base. Standard. Chicha Morada Special Drink: Off menu, but recommended by the table next to us. Came in HUGE glasses. It was like that spiced purple corn drink with spices, pisco and some sparkling wine. This was a complete disappointment! Our first visit only a few months ago, was spectacular from to finish which is why we returned to have a beautiful dinner the evening before our wedding this weekend. We ordered the hot appetizer of octopus and it was VERY undercooked and tough to chew. It wasn't charred and cooked right like the first time we ordered. Our second order of drinks were incorrect. The worst part was the horrible slow service! I had to continuously ask for water and STILL wait. The lack if attention was unnecessary! We even noticed other patrons having to ask the staff for things and attention. It wasn't busy so I don't understand why service was extremely slow and lacking in customer service?! We were never even offered a desert menu!- again this was our pre wedding dinner date! HIGHLY disappointed in this experience compared to our first visit! Terrific family run Peruvian place with great food and service, right in the heart of Wilton Manors 5 star food: my pounded chicken fillets were perfect, just the right thickness and degree of doneness . The roast corn dishes before the meal came were also really good 5 star service: granted My table was the only one occupied one weekday for an early lunch, but the staff was incredibly attentive and very friendly 5 star ambience: it's one of the few places on Wilton Drive that seems separate from the scene outside. I was in the mood for Peruvian food so bad and this restaurant was close to where we were at. It's small inside and there is outside sitting, but it's on the sidewalk and personally I don't like to be on the sidewalk while people are walking by. The air vent for cooking was off so the restaurant got really smoky inside and when I complained they came to find out it was closed. I enjoyed my meal, but my husband wasn't to thrilled with his. Based upon Sardi Cafe Lounge being a Yelp Four Stars Plus, I went there for lunch. I was disappointed with it. First off, it has little decor for a restaurant. The seats are of uncomfortable unpadded steel. Our waiter, though friendly enough has a dog. I like dogs and don't mind them being in a restaurant. That is unless they come to my table begging for food or go to the door and bark loudly at passersby, both of which this dog did. Then for food and drink, the menu is rather skimpy. As Sardi only has a beer and wine license so all the menu. martinis and other drinks must be derived from some concoction of wine. Surprisingly, the National Drink of Peru, Pisco Sour, is missing tough Pisco is a wine that can be found with a low alcohol base. When I was seated, I was given a small metal dish of toasted chulpe corn. It was good but I'm used to bowls you can easily get your fingers into. For my meal, I ordered their Ceviche Mixto with fish, shrimp, tiger's milk, recoto, Peruvian corn, chulpi, and sweet potato. Sounds very Peruvian, but it wasn't. The fish was that of a Swai, a catfish native to the Mekong Delta and most often farm-raised in Vietnam; certainly not very Peruvians at all. I do have to say, though unauthentic and of a lesser quality, it had a good taste. read more

Awful service. Reserved a table for two and showed up 5 minutes before the reservation time. My spouse and I stood at the host stand for 15 minutes without even an acknowledgement from any of the staff. There were several open tables, but for some reason they decided to completely ignore us. Outstanding food and menu! If you are looking for a solid place to brunch, I recommend Sardi Cafe. Their menu is extremely unique and clever. PLUS, they have a bottomless mimosa special that you can't miss. As far as the morning goes... they tend to get busy as the day goes on. Therefore, I recommend showing up when they first open if you are short for time. Have been to Sardi several times and it's always great. Small, intimate Peruvian restaurant - and the food is amazing. Everything I tried there was full of flavor and prepared just right. The owner/chef Sofia is delight. She came out to check on us several times. The service was excellent. I had the Lomo saltado. First time with chicken. Second time with beef. First time trying this cute and tiny place. The server was very friendly and polite. We ordered causa de pollo as appetizer and it was ok. Mashed potatoes lack of flavor and lemon juice flavors. The layers of mash potatoes were very thin and inappropriate for a causa dish. The stuffing was weird. I never tasted anything like that. Think they used celery and it killed the rich causa flavor. Definitively, not getting that again. The we tried Tallarin Saltado and Lomo Saltado. They both were very good. Flavor, texture and proper cooking. I told my friend that these two dishes taste like in la calle Capon in Lima. I think prices are average, not too high or low. Overall, We will come back and try the other dishes. I saw they have pasta huancaina con lomo y arroz chaufa. I already told my friends that this is a good place for Peruvian food. read more

The staff here is absolutely great. Even though I came in at close to closing time they still accommodated me. I'm quite sure I ordered the wrong thing in a Peruvian restaurant but next time I hope it will be a bit better. The papa a la hauncaina was great. I loved that it had a lot of sauce and that the potatoes were very cooked just right and the plate had the black olive and egg on top which is very important in this plate. The let down was the impossible burger which came out way overdone. I shared with my waiter without being a nuissance that I would recommend not scorching the buns, they were very dry and the whole burger was dry with not enough mayo to help out. I enjoyed my ice tea as well and I feel that prices here are very reasonable. Please support local business whenever possible like this one. They really are trying hard to make you happy and it's worth giving them a shot. Judging by other reviews this was probably an isolated incident and shouldn't deter you from taking advantage of a nice restaurant. read more

Dined here several times and really enjoy impeccable service, excellent ceviche and iced tea (done better than 95% of Wilton Manor's establishments), and best French Toast in Broward if you prefer a slightly crispy exterior instead of mushy bread, with all the accompaniments. Small bistro so smaller wine list, but I enjoy Cabernet Sauvignon, and theirs are good. What's not to like about quality ingredients, attentive service, plenty of seating outside or inside, and a healthy menu to keep you slim and full of energy when I leave. read more
