Located right on the drive, Sardi is a nice spot to eat some Peruvian food before you go out or walk around Wilton. I enjoyed the Ceviche Mixto and Tallarin Saltado. The service was good and it felt quick and easy; would definitely recommend.

Terrific family run Peruvian place with great food and service, right in the heart of Wilton Manors 5 star food: my pounded chicken fillets were perfect, just the right thickness and degree of doneness . The roast corn dishes before the meal came were also really good 5 star service: granted My table was the only one occupied one weekday for an early lunch, but the staff was incredibly attentive and very friendly 5 star ambience: it's one of the few places on Wilton Drive that seems separate from the scene outside. You can watch the floor show just past the windows but not be a part of it

I was in the mood for Peruvian food so bad and this restaurant was close to where we were at. It's small inside and there is outside sitting, but it's on the sidewalk and personally I don't like to be on the sidewalk while people are walking by. The air vent for cooking was off so the restaurant got really smoky inside and when I complained they came to find out it was closed. I enjoyed my meal, but my husband wasn't to thrilled with his. I thought it was good. The service was great.

Absolutely amazing and the service and food are outstanding. You can't go wrong with Sardi! A perfect go to on the drive when you need a Peruvian cuisine fix and a delicious pisco sour. Ceviche power and the causa rellena de pollo. Must try dishes. The ambiance was great for a light and lovely lunch!

Based upon Sardi Cafe Lounge being a Yelp Four Stars Plus, I went there for lunch. I was disappointed with it. First off, it has little decor for a restaurant. The seats are of uncomfortable unpadded steel. Our waiter, though friendly enough has a dog. I like dogs and don't mind them being in a restaurant. That is unless they come to my table begging for food or go to the door and bark loudly at passersby, both of which this dog did. Then for food and drink, the menu is rather skimpy. As Sardi only has a beer and wine license so all the menu. martinis and other drinks must be derived from some concoction of wine. Surprisingly, the National Drink of Peru, Pisco Sour, is missing tough Pisco is a wine that can be found with a low alcohol base. When I was seated, I was given a small metal dish of toasted chulpe corn. It was good but I'm used to bowls you can easily get your fingers into. For my meal, I ordered their Ceviche Mixto with fish, shrimp, tiger's milk, recoto, Peruvian corn, chulpi, and sweet potato. Sounds very Peruvian, but it wasn't. The fish was that of a Swai, a catfish native to the Mekong Delta and most often farm-raised in Vietnam; certainly not very Peruvians at all. I do have to say, though unauthentic and of a lesser quality, it had a good taste.

Nice opportunity for a taste of Peru. We were treated to a snack of corn. Great sangria! I had Chaufa with vegetables and my partner had La Pituca. What a gem and not overly expensive. Everything is under $30. Delicious! I will be back to try more of their entrees. Happy hour from 5-7!

Food was great and reasonably priced. Service was attentive and friendly. The vibe and ambiance is comfortable and comforting. Truly a gem in Wilton Manor. Say hello to the friendly owner and chef Sophia. Highly recommended!

We came here for an early dinner and were really disappointed. Very tough beef and unedible seafood. Good service, very expensive, etc.

We arrived around 8:30 p.m. and were seated immediately. The hostess was incredibly sweet and attentive throughout our visit, especially since our server took our order and never returned to check on us again. We ordered the corvina ceviche, traditional wok with chicken, churrasco, and a side of plantains. The ceviche took approximately 20-25 minutes to arrive, and our entrees didn't come out until nearly 50 minutes after we ordered in which our steak was overcooked and definitely not medium. Meanwhile, the table next to us was seated after us and received their meals within about 15 minutes. By that point, it was already 9:30 p.m., and we were understandably frustrated, especially since our son doesn't eat ceviche and had been waiting the entire time for his meal. The manager came over, apologized, and explained that he wasn't sure what had happened with our order. We appreciated that he took the time to address the situation and offered us dessert. However, by then it was approaching 9:45 p.m., and we were ready to get the check and head home. The food was genuinely very good, which makes the experience even more disappointing. We're undecided about whether we'll return, but we hope this was simply an off night because the kitchen clearly has a lot of potential.

Finally went today!! What have I been missing all these years. Taco Tuesday $3 tacos if you want shrimp or fish $4. Margaritas - looked like a fish bowl $5 ! Delicious !!! Brissa our waitress was wonderful very attentive, friendly & welcoming. There was an older gentlemen - I didn't get his name. He was extremely nice, kept coming by to see if all was okay & collected our empty margarita glasses. We ordered the carnitas, chorizo & steak tacos. 6 in total & filling. All delicious especially that they make their own tortillas! Now let's discuss the salsa. Can you make the salsa bowls slightly bigger. Or less chips because the salsa finishes & you have plenty of chips leftover. I didn't want to keep paying for salsa just to finish the chips. I will definitely be visiting again and bringing some friends!

It almost felt like they did not like that my group wanted to spend on the happy hour priced food only. The steak and chorizo tacos were a bit overcooked. The chicken and pastor were very good. There was only one sauce to add and it was extremely spicy, no mild sauce. They gave us a small batch of chips for 4 of us and any extras was a charge. We all ordered margaritas, I had tamarindo and it was watery, I requested a shot of tequila to add. I pored half of the shot thinking it would be too strong and nothing. Right before I paid I smelled the shot since I still had some tequila left and didn't smell the tequila. I tasted it and it was watered down, it was never brought cold so I don't know if the bottles are refilled and maybe watered down. My opinion is if you are going to partake in taco Tuesday all day Happy hour you need to make it worth it. If you want to use a cheaper tequila that's fine, hh isn't top shelf liquors but a watered down tequila is an insult. Kindly advised

Everything changed when our fajitas arrived. We ordered the Mixed Fajitas with beef steak, shrimp, and chicken. After we'd been eating for a while, my husband suddenly said the steak smelled and tasted spoiled. I realized I had noticed an odd smell when I ate a piece earlier, but I thought maybe it was just me. Then one of our friends said she thought it tasted bad too and had actually spit it out into a napkin. We immediately called the server over. He took the entire cast-iron fajita skillet back to the kitchen and said he would check with the chef. After a long wait, he came back and told us that both the chef and the prep cook insisted there was nothing wrong with the steak because it had been cut just yesterday. They claimed the "smell" was coming from the sauce. We asked them to bring us the sauce separately. We all tasted it, and the sauce had absolutely no bad smell at all. It clearly wasn't the source of the problem. Even then, they refused to acknowledge that anything was wrong with the steak, but they could remake the meat if we want. We then asked to speak with the manager. A young manager came over, we asked if any of them has tasted the beef steak left in the fajitas skillet, she said she believed us tasted and smelled it but she simply repeated the same explanation. She said they were a family-owned business that cared deeply about their reputation, so the meat had to be fresh. Her solution remained unchanged, she can bring us a remake of the meat. By that point, we had already finished most of the meal. What good would another plate do? We weren't asking for more food--we wanted them to acknowledge the issue and handle it appropriately. The ending was honestly unbelievable. They took just $6 off the entire bill, saying they had removed the cost of the steak from the fajitas. I've never experienced a resolution like that at any restaurant. The only conclusion I can come to is that this is a tourist area in Fort Lauderdale. They saw that we were visitors, figured we'd be leaving town soon, and simply didn't care about making things right because we'd probably never be back anyway. I haven't left reviews at Yelp for many years, but I'd like to share this experience. Hopefully it helps others decide whether they want to take the risk of dining here.
