This tour group sub-contracts everything and keeps half your money. Their vendors then add transaction fees and Cabo tours is MIA. We booked a catamaran snorkeling tour. They subbed it out to La Princesa who asked us to pay the remaining 50% when we arrived at the dock. No problem, but "they only accept cash." This was NOT disclosed on the Cabo tours website AND there was no option to pay in full in advance. Under protest La Princesa allowed us to use Apple Pay, but charged us a $25 fee for using a credit card. Cabo tours didn't pick up the phone and did nothing to resolve or credit the 30% surcharge. read more

Tl;dr Booked an ATV tour through them. They farm the tour out to Amigos ATV that is a terrible business. No accountability to the businesses they farm out to. Booked the ATV tour through their website. Was concerned with how close it would be butting up against our cruise departure time. This was when they were the most responsive, trying to get you to book their tours. Even then, there was a lot of misinformation. Now I know why, because they don't actually provide the tour themselves. I'll skip the actual tour itself, you can read my review on Amigo's Cabos Moto Rent Yelp page or TripAdvisor. Tl;dr is more hidden fees (on top of the $25 for ranch fee and $25 for insurance) and they took us on a different tour than I booked. Before I get into the main issue, the side issue was that they never coordinated our transportation properly with the tour group. In the email, they asked us to arrive at the pickup location at 7:30. We ended up calling the number they provided (Amigos) at around 7:40 and they had not even left for pickup yet. I reached out to Cabo San Lucas Tours on 12/30 explaining that I was taken on the cheaper tour to Migrino Beach vs Candelaria. All I asked for was originally was the difference, wasn't even asking them to refund the whole cost. They contacted Amigo's who claimed they took us to the Candelaria. Once I provided geolocation and time stamped picture of us at Migrino Beach, Cabo San Lucas Tours has been unresponsive. Our plane arrival to Los Cabos International Airport (SJD) was 3 hours late on December 19th, 2025. Cabo San Lucas Tours still took us to our destination hotel location anyway after waiting less than an hour or so after late airport arrival. I'm grateful for that as well as the $68 price for both arrival and departure trips to the hotel location and airport. However, for the return trip back to the airport on December 29th, 2025, Cabo San Lucas Tours told us to call in advance the day or next day after our arrival for a new confirmed pick up time even though our voucher stated a 2 p.m. pick up time for December 29th, 2025. We were told over the phone on December 20th, 2025 that it would be 3 p.m. pick up time change rather than the 2 p.m. voucher time on December 29th, 2025. No problem, because our plane didn't depart Los Cabos International Airport (SJD) until 6:30 p.m. or so. On the day of departure (December 29, 2025), I both called and sent WhatsApp messages to confirm the changed 3 p.m. pick up time. Cabo San Lucas Tours would not answer the telephone call nor would they reply to the WhatsApp messages I sent until 2:05 p.m. when they wrote that our pick up time was 2 p.m. per the voucher. (No mention of the telephone call on December 20th that changed the pick up time to 3 p.m.) Subsequently, Cabo San Lucas Tours neither answered the telephone nor did they reply to several WhatsApp messages regarding their own caused mix-up time as we were stranded otherwise. As a result, I paid 800 pesos or around $45 extra for an Uber ride back to the Los Cabos International Airport (SJD) so that we didn't miss our flight. As a result of this treatment, I do not recommend Cabo San Lucas Tours to anyone unless you're willing to pay in advance and take the chance of non-responsiveness and paying more money out of pocket in the event some glitch occurs with your travel plans. read more

You book a roundtrip airport shuttle to a hotel in Los Cabos. You cancel 4 days in advance because someone got sick and canceled the entire trip. They refund your money but charge you 5% for the cancelation to pay 'for the credit card fees". What a scam! I was very disappointed in the tour and what we paid for it! We booked the Cabo Deluxe City Tour and this company sub contracted out to a company called GrayLine. The driver showed up late and did not fulfill what we paid for. We didn't get to go to San Jose Del Cabo, Lovers Beach, Lands End, or view a Sea Lion Colony as advertised. We did take a glass bottom boat to the famous Arch. We did get to stop at the famous glass blowing factory and that was nice. However, we stayed in the downtown Cabo shopping area and didn't see much outside of that. Lunch was at a local restaurant by the marina. Overall I would rate this tour and experience with Cabo San Lucas Tours as a 2 out of 10 experience and will warn others NOT to book with them. It was my last day with my family and we wanted to do something chill and relaxing. So we ending up paying $79 dollars a person for the San Jose Delux Tour. To be honest it was kind of boring and I didn't think it was worth the price. The gentleman came and picked us up at the hotel on time. He showed us a menu of items to chose for dinner and asked us to pay him which I did through credit card. The tour guide was nice and he took good care of us when he was driving. In the van there was a plethora of non alcoholic drinks in case you were thirsty. The first part of the tour we drove through a marina which we basically made a circle in the van and drove off. We didn't stop or walk around to enjoy it's beauty. Thereafter, he took us to a jewelry shop which I really disliked. The Jeweler had my mother have a chance to win a pearl in which she did after they opened a clam. Thereafter, the jeweler was showing us various ways to house the pearl either on a ring or necklace. I felt really uncomfortable even though he kept saying no pressure. They should not add jewelry shops to the tour, felt more like a way to sell you something. Afterwards we had a quick stop for tequila tasting at another store and then we were free to roam around downtown San Jose which was practically dead. The tour guide really didn't do much in explaining the history of the city or even walked us around. He just took 1 picture of us together and then he just sat in the car for 1 hour. Afterwards we had dinner and had a free choice of alcoholic beverage. We then went back to the hotel and that was it. My recommendation is to save your $79 and go to downtown San Jose by Uber. My recent trip to Cabo ended up waiting 60 minutes for my transportation. Tried calling Cabo San Lucas tours to ask if they could send transportation and each call was put on hold - never got to speak to a representative. I used this company for airport transfers and I've never been let down. Before this I just took taxis. I prefer the private transfer but I've once even had to catch a shared one and it wasn't bad at all. The women at the call center are incredibly helpful and do everything they can to schedule you properly. They are also very pleasant and polite. Cabo San Lucas Tours doesn't just offer tours, but also airport transfers. We have been using them almost every time we come to Cabo for the past 8 years. You can easily check out the pricing on their website; prices vary depending on whether you are going to San Jose del Cabo (Zone 1), the Corridor (Zone 2) or Cabo San Lucas (Zone 3). You can either book a shared shuttle or private van. We stayed at 2 different resorts in two zones, so it was $12-18/person each way for shared shuttle, or $69-$99 each way for private, and we opted for private for the convenience (and not much extra money). Vans, drivers, and service were great. Always nice to bypass all the taxi drivers at the airport trying to get you to go on timeshare tours, and find your driver waiting for you outside. Note that due to local rules w/ Cabo taxi union, you have to book your return trip before you arrive in Cabo. Definitely recommend, and will book w/ them again next time! read more

The booking process was easy and they catered our trip exactly how we wanted it - deep sea fishing and snorkeling. We had the most amazing time! The crew did great taking us to all the popular landmarks and made the most out of our 8 hour excursion. The best part of the trip was catching a 8' 190 pound sail fish. I booked online (in June) the ATV tour for my husband and my two kids (both young adults). Prior to booking, I had a lot of questions since this was new for all of us and the hubby was more nervous than anyone else...go figure. Marsela, the rep and I exchange emails several times and she was always patient and promote in responding back. On the day of our excursions, there was a van waiting for us at our Hotel. The ride to the place was about a 20 minute. Once we arrived, they instructed us on how to use the ATV's. They provide helmets, goggles and bandanas. Be prepared to get dusty so wear old clothes and sunblock. They provided water at several stops. We had about eight other people including my family and the tour guide. We chose the Migrino Beach tour which is NO riding on busy streets. It's all dessert mountains and along the beach. Which is what we preferred. The tour guide even gave us the opportunity to stop and take pictures. This was one of the best experiences we had, it took us out of our comfort zone. I would definitely use Cabo San Lucas Tours again. read more

we went on another tour and took my parents this time around. there was a mix up in the beginning that was not resolved to my satisfaction at the time. we still took the tour since we already had our tickets. the glass bottom boat tour was still really fun. the service was also top notch during the tour and transportation. i decided to write in once we got back stateside, not expecting much satisfaction. i explained the situation and customer service did an amazing job recovering MY perceived service failure. quite exceptional in the delivery of amicable options. these guys are very thorough and focused on service recovery. this was our 3rd trip with them and will be booking them for the 4th time next summer! read more

What's important for you to know is 1) our tour guide and driver were fantastic - kind and professional; 2) they pick you up and drop you off from/at your hotel; 3) we ate at a really good restaurant (yummy choices for your meal, nearby clean restroom facilities) and 4) the tour guide takes photos for you throughout (and they're included in your tour cost...what's more is he emails them to you THAT day). Seriously a WASTE of 5 hours of vacation and I am still seeking a refund! The worst part now is that I took the time to carefully type out what was wrong, and sent them a long email, but instead of responding to my specific complaints, they sent me a picture in response of their logbook, where I wrote one quick paragraph, being sure to sound fairly neutral and content because our captain (who was awful!) watched me write it!!! I'll copy and paste my original email: "We just returned from our deep sea fishing charter and are more than unhappy. We caught 1 Marlin yet despite that, wish we hadn't gone out at all (at least through you guys). We paid for 8 hours and came back after less than 6 hours because of how horrible of an experience it was. Our captain, Juan, was rude to us from the beginning and did not speak English. Your website clearly states it includes an "expert English-speaking crew" but we were not able to communicate with our captain at all. He did not even try. We also informed him (through my broken Spanish) that we had never been deep sea fishing before. There was an obvious language barrier because my Spanish is so minimal but his English was even worse. He either wasn't able to or decided not to give us directions, tips, etc. but swore and yelled at us in Spanish calling us idiots and even saying things like "f*** your mother" if we weren't reeling properly, etc. I know enough Spanish to understand these phrases unfortunately. As we were leaving the marina, our captain was trying to communicate that we needed live bait. Your website states that "most sportfishing in Cabo is done with lures" and that live bait is not required but SOME fishermen prefer it. Because we were confused, he then called someone who spoke English where we were told we didn't pay enough money (although I had the printed confirmation that we still owed exactly what we paid ($265) for licenses, the other half of the trip cost, and a logbook) and we NEEDED live bait. We gave him $20 (USD) to buy bait where he made fun of us in Spanish to the people selling bait, calling us stupid and saying we were cheap for not buying more bait to go out all day. He asked us what type of fish we were going for, when we replied tuna, he told us this was impossible in our boat size and we would have to fish for Marlin. (SIDE NOTE: It does NOT say anywhere on your website that we MUST fish for Marlin in a 26' boat?!) We conceded and caught one after about another 3.5 hours. It was more than a stressful process with him swearing at us and wasn't even an enjoyable catch. What could have been an amazing experience turned out to be the worst time we've had on a vacation. We didn't get the experience that you advertised and promised to us and couldn't even stand to be out on the water with such a rude captain for any longer. I'm expecting a full refund for the trip because it was such a horrible experience. If I don't receive a response soon I'll be posting this as a review online warning other travelers to stay away from your company." They have finally responded, saying that they can't refund us because we got our full time... We recently returned from a week long vacation in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. Prior to leaving I researched tour companies because I wanted to book excursions ahead of time and have our week planned out. After reading the many positive reviews for Cabo San Lucas Tours on tripadvisor, I decided to book several tours with them for my wife and I. The first thing you should know about Cabo San Lucas Tours is that they work with many different touring companies and outfitters. They are essentially a middle-man or reseller, and don't operate any of the tours or excursions themselves. This is a good thing because they can partner with the best of the best, making sure your excursion is provided by the best company for the job. Also, because you can book many different types of excursions and tours through Cabo San Lucas Tours, you don't have to contact multiple companies or negotiate multiple rates. You only deal with Cabo San Lucas Tours and they take care of everything. Every I worked with at Cabo San Lucas Tours spoke English, so if you do have a problem you can call and speak to someone who can help you. So with our eight days in Cabo, what did we decide to do? Here is a list of the activities we booked with Cabo San Lucas Tours: - Cabo Pulmo Snorkel with Cabo Beach Resorts Awesome trip! The drive from Cabo San Lucas to Cabo Plumo is two hours but very much worth it. The touring company was great to work with, the people were very friendly, equipment was provided (including wetsuits), and a delicious lunch was included. But the best part? We snorkeled with sea lions! During our snorkeling trip we went to an area with sea lions, sunning on a big rock, and we swam with them in the open water. It was so much fun! This was one of the coolest things I've ever done. Seriously! This tour picked us up at the hotel and dropped us off when it was finished. Grade: A+ - Parasailing with Chilangos We'd never parasailed before and wanted to give it a try. My wife and I were both nervous about the height, but getting up in the air is so smooth and easy that our nervousness quickly faded. We were also secured in with good harasses, so there was no risk of falling or getting hurt. Parasailing was a lot of fun and well worth doing if you haven't gone before. We took a taxi to the Cabo San Lucas marina to meet the tour, but after parasailing they dropped us off at the beach by our hotel. The taxi cost $12, a fixed rate set by the city of Cabo San Lucas. Grade: A+ - Photo City Magic Town with Land's End Tours This tour took us to the nearby town of Todos Santos, supposedly home to the Hotel California, made famous by the Eagles song. We walked around the town, guided by our tour guide Dennis; visited some very cool boutique hotels, including one that used to be an old jail; went to some unique art galleries and shops; visited a Catholic mission church and saw other areas in Todos Santos. There was plenty of opportunities to take photos, shop or whatever else you wanted to do. Our tour guide, Dennis, spoke good English and gave us a good history of the town and the places we visited. Before leaving Todos Santos, he stopped for about an hour at the Hotel California and had something to ear. I was starving and the tacos and margaritas we ordered were delicious! This tour picked us up at the hotel and dropped us off when it was finished. Grade: B+ - Whale Watching with Oceanriders I've always wanted to go whale watching and finally had the chance to do it in Cabo San Lucas! One of my friends recommended we go on this tour because the zodiac boats they use are small, fast, and maneuverable, so they can get to the whales faster then the other, larger, slower boats. During the tour we'd spot a whale breaching ways off and in our speedy boat we'd zoom over to it quickly. Being able to get to the whales quickly made all the difference between seeing them or missing them entirely. Our tour guide was friendly and spoke good English, but she was hard to hear over the roar of the boat's engine. During the tour we saw MANY humpback whales and bottle nose dolphins. We even saw some whales breach-up close which was really awesome! We were concerned about getting wet on this tour so we wore appropriate clothes and shoes. However, we didn't get at all wet during the tour. So if you're concerned about that I wouldn't be. This tour picked us up at the hotel and dropped us off when it was finished. Grade: A+ Overall I'm really happy with everything we booked through Cabo San Lucas Tours. The excursions were awesome, the transportation to and from the hotel was convenient, and the tour guides were friendly and fun. Although we had one hiccup with a tour, Cabo San Lucas Tours made it right, refunded my money, and booked me on another excursion. If you're going to Cabo, don't risk going with an unknown outfitter, book with Cabo San Lucas Tours. They have great tours, great people, and great prices. You will not be disappointed! read more

I thought I bought the breakfast boat and snorkel tour at $126 for two people (online). The questionnaire to begin payment even asked if I had food restrictions. After submitting payment I received an email thanking me for booking with Glass Bottom Kayak, not Cabo San Lucas Tours. Then when we were picked up from the hotel on the morning of what I thought was a boat/yacht tour to snorkel. We were driven to the beach to then kayak and snorkel. I love kayaking but when I asked another couple how much they paid for the same trip, they said $70 total. I did not receive what I paid for. From browsing your selection of activities, no snorkeling and kayaking tour cost the amount I paid. While our kayaking hosts were awesome, I did not pay $126 to kayak. Tried to book excursions for 5 days through them. Gave us the run-around and we ended up booking through our resort instead. Was really looking forward to advertised excursions but emails, texts, and calls took days for a response. Website Advertises hotel pick ups from all resorts but there is no way to confirm hotel pickup place or time before giving online payment. We had to learn after the fact that our hotel was not eligible for transportation. When we tried to book in person, they still gave us a run around. Prices did not at all reflect online pricing. We noticed the price was always changing and the rates were getting raised. They also added hidden fees such as park entry, insurance, etc. After the info we received, we found out you can book and get better deals from the guys on the beach or through your resort. read more

We booked the entire pirate ship (The Buccaneer Queen) for our daughter's wedding guests because it was one of the least expensive tours we could find. We had a party of 50 for a sunset dinner cruise. Everything was great! It was easy to book the tour, although the office staff is not able to provide you with information during the weekend. (I'm sure that's their busiest time.) The office staff called and emailed us. I was very happy with their communication efforts. The food was good; it was a bbq dinner. The "pirate" crew was awesome!!! We skipped the pirate show b/c, honestly, it was mostly all adults and we were more interested in the "booze" cruise part. Very trustworthy and they stand behind their guarantee. I booked a tour for my husband, son and myself online for while we were in port for our cruise. I first received an email from Maya stating that she may need to re- book for a later time as she was afraid we wouldn't be off the ship in enough time to make the tour. Fast forward to our sailing and the cruise ship broke down and they moved our Cabo day to Tuesday. I received an email from Erin at Cabo San Lucas Tours stating that they were notified of the change and moved our reservation. WOW! That is great service. Once in Cabo I called and spoke with Noel and let them know they moved our departure time from 7 pm to 4 pm. Cabo San Lucas Tours quickly refunded me the entire amount of the tour. If I had realized and called them sooner I know I would have been on a different tour boat sooner. I unfortunately did not take a tour with them but I will next time. If you book through these guys, you'll spend a good portion of your vacation stressing about their ability or lack thereof to properly coordinate tours and the complications that come with such. If you don't plan on having your phone on standby the whole time don't book with them! Really important to note most of their positive reviews are simply from their transport they offer from the airport not the tours they book. Won't ever book with them again, a stressful and disappointing experience to say the least. I booked 3 different tours(atv fishing and snorkel) on various days for my week in Cabo. These guys love to add plenty of little fees that definitely make up for their "low prices". They are very disorganized and made us rearrange our tours a few times without offering anything to make up for it. They screwed up our fishing trip causing us to leave late and waste majority of our time at the market. Even after emailing them that their confirmation email was wrong about the number of people on the charter they told me it was only a typo. Of course as we arrive the captain tells us he did not have 4 licenses only 3 and spent a solid 45 min docking at a market to go buy another one. This was used against our "5hour charter" that ended up being massively shorted of time. We didn't even get to fish, they captain( who didn't even speak English) and deckhand (who barely spoke English) got to fish and then we would fight the fish. Clearly they do not mean it when they say they always have "English speaking representatives" Had my friend not spoken a little Spanish we probably would not have even been able to communicate. I selected the sunset adventure combo . Our hotel was in San Jose and transportation is provided rt. They pick up at other hotels but only one other couple did the same tour as us . Two other couples only did the boat so we only had more stops on the return . We first did the tequila tasting which i enjoyed they tell you al about how tequila is made . You can do that tasting on your own if you like in San Lucas it's free. After that we went to the silver shop which is advertised as going to the flea market . We had no time to souvenir shop. I didn't care for the silver shop way over priced jewelry so we all just talked to each other until it was time to go. ( the driver went to pick up the other couples )The boat now that was fantastic ! The food was cheese quesadilla and chicken and beef tacos ! So yummy. After we ate and the sunset and the music turned up ! The servers and mc were so fun! If you don't like loud music than sit downstairs you can barely hear it down there but upstairs full club time ! The have a drink menu if you order off that like jack and coke (not much jack ) is 4$ so is margarita but if you get a house margarita it's free. The views are great also! read more

Our group had a fantastic time on the snorkeling tour we purchased and were so happy to find it at a great rate through Cabo San Lucas Tours. I ended up booking through them the next time I went to Cabo, but we weren't able to make it to the excursion. Airport transfers in Cabo were easy, affordable and very accommodating. Highly recommend.

We had the best experience using them for our wedding activities. We had a Catamaran cruise setup for 27 of our guests. From the charter bus that picked everyone up at the resort to the experience on the catamaran, we could not have asked for more. If I could give zero stars I would. I booked the la Paz tour this morning and was supposed to have shuttle service pick me up at 645am. I was outside since 640 and no one was here. It is now 7:50am and I finally finished my hour long conversation through live chat (which says open at 6, but really isn't until 7) only to find out the driver "was here and left at 7". No one contacted me. None of the numbers listed on the site worked. The operator said the driver had our room number and asked for us. I never provided a room number since we arrived late last night so for him to know that would require him to go inside and ask, yet no one was in the lobby aside from us until 7. Terrible start to my vacation. Don't use this company. read more
