To be more specific I had the Michaelangelo personal pizza 10" which had tender chunks of chicken and roasted peppers as a topping. My husband had a slice topped with buffalo chicken. We both sat and ate in silence which for us is a sign that it tastes really good. The decor inside is simple but cozy, clean and inviting. Although they offer pizza by the slice that they make beforehand, but the personal pizzas and most other items on the menu are made to order. My husband spotted the guy working his magic with the dough for my pizza. When they brought our pizza to the table the aromas were a pleasant signal of what we were about to have. Meh. So many Redditors equate this to the pizza at La Pizzeria Metro and boy are they incorrect. The place actually has nice ( very basic) atmosphere. Beers are cheap and cold and service is really friendly. Unfortunately the pizza is nothing special and the ingredients are not fresh or imaginative at all. I am glad I went here for a slice of pizza before my art class, which was in the same shopping center. Usually, I am picky about my pizza. The cheese pizza was so good. Amazing Pizza, baked rolls/Strombolis , old staples like parmigiana which are served as hoagies or entrees and traditional dishes like eggplant rollatini. (You can an tell the owners are from New York). The menu is perfect size and there is a large, comfortable outdoor covered patio if you'd like to enjoy the weather. I've enjoyed many meals inside, outside and take out. I do recommend skipping the garlic knots. They are fried so they have the texture of a zeppole but instead of powdered sugar they are brushed with garlic and olive oil. More than decent good pizza. Thin with a light bottom crisp, not too doughy, and not overly greasy. I wouldn't mind dining in as the place seems clean and follows strict guidelines. Also there's outdoor seating as well. Nestled in Louvier's Plaza so it's a bit more calmer than being out on Main Street. The staff here are nice and plenty of parking. I would have given them four and a half stars if I could have because that would be my true score. A nice crispy crust with a tasty sauce and generous with the toppings. Their X- large pizza is a good size at 18 inches and really delivers on taste. The employees are very friendly and they are very efficient at getting you your food. No standing around waiting. I love that. I would have given them 5 stars however theirs's isn't the best pizza I've ever had. That being said their pizza is one of the best I've had in the area. For never having actually been to this restaurant, I have had their pizza a fair amount and it is really good. On Friday nights they fairly regularly provide free pizza at Deerfield Fine Wines next door. I have tried their plain cheese pizza there multiple times and it is always pretty good. Recently a girlfriend had a party at her house and got the Bruschetta pizza and that is when I knew I had to do a review. The bruschetta pizza was so good! It was pretty much a tomato pie with a very flavorful and fresh bruschetta on top. I could (and did) eat a ton of it! This is some of the best Italian food you can get anywhere. Not just Delaware, but anywhere. I recently had the Zuppa di Pesce and it is one of my favorite meals. The food is good, but rather expensive for what you get. The employees aren't willing to give you anything for free. If you want more ranch dressing for your salad, you will be forced into paying 50 cents. Tony's Cafe is a better option than this restaurant, considering that Tony's has soda machines, the food is much cheaper, and the employees are willing to do anything to make your experience good. This doesn't mean that I don't like this restaurant, because I do, it's just that the prices are out of this world crazy. The facilities are extremely clean and the employees are very nice. I didn't realize that I hadn't reviewed Cacciatori's until I realized I hadn't reviewed Cacciatori's. I guess I kind of overlooked it because I've gone so many time since it opened and it has always been so consistently awesome. As a kid, this place was a 20 minute walk from my house, so when we got tired of peanutbutter sandwiches we would walk here in the summer (that tradition actually started with the Dunkin Donuts in the same shopping center- but then we realized how bad Dunkin Donuts is). Those walks were some of my favorite parts of my early adolescence. When I got older, I started driving and I went to Cacciatori's less often. Next time I want a slice, this is where I'll go. They have the best buffalo chicken pizza ever invented, the cheese fries are great and don't contain cheese whiz, and everyone there is super friendly. Probably the most friendly and reliable customer service you'll get. I would definitely reccomend this place. Oh and one more thing- Cacciatori's is better than Tony's read more
