I didn't realize that I hadn't reviewed Cacciatori's until I realized I hadn't reviewed Cacciatori's. I guess I kind of overlooked it because I've gone so many time since it opened and it has always been so consistently awesome. As a kid, this place was a 20 minute walk from my house, so when we got tired of peanutbutter sandwiches we would walk here in the summer (that tradition actually started with the Dunkin Donuts in the same shopping center- but then we realized how bad Dunkin Donuts is). Those walks were some of my favorite parts of my early adolescence. When I got older, I started driving and I went to Cacciatori's less often. Next time I want a slice, this is where I'll go. They have the best buffalo chicken pizza ever invented, the cheese fries are great and don't contain cheese whiz, and everyone there is super friendly. Probably the most friendly and reliable customer service you'll get. I would definitely reccomend this place. Oh and one more thing- Cacciatori's is better than Tony's read more

Solid pizza...they rival Margarita's (Main Street) and Two Cousins (Hockessin). Salads are very fresh + crisp (lettuce could afford to be a bit dryer tho)...da wife and I have had them several times. This is hands down the best pizza I have ever had in my life! We tried both the Hawaiian and the Old Country pizzas and the Cacciatori salad (which was also amazing!) Get the penne vodka. You won't be disappointed. The pizza selection is pretty good. Wish they had a crab pizza, though. Salad selection is small but gives you just enough options. The garlic bread is good, but the garlic knots are just right. We usually call ahead for take-out. read more

Best pizza in Newark. People that are looking for a good NY slice or a perfectly executed specialty pizza need to get off Main Street and try Cacciatori's! We had the San Gennaro pizza (peppers, mushrooms, and sausage), and were very satisfied. The crust was crispy, and not too thin. They don't deliver, but it has a nicer atmosphere than most pizza shops, so I wouldn't mind coming there to pick up an order when I want to eat at home. read more

Hands down best pizza in Delaware. You can taste the quality in the crust, cheese, and other ingredients. You will not be disappointed. Cacciatori's catered my bridal shower and the crowd LOVED the food. They advised me on what would by appropriate for this event, and the portion size was ON POINT! Cacciatori's could have misled me, but instead they were very aware of my needs and budget and took the time to consult, review, and follow-up to be sure I was satisfied. Not the best but pretty darn good pizza. Plenty of toppings, tasty, crispy crust, the sauce was perfect. The calamari is awesome, and a dinner mate loved her anti-pasta salad. Service was fast, efficient and pleasant. Was a little taken back that they don't have fountain soft drinks. We were given cans of soda and iced tea. They need to get fountain drinks and also make a batch of fresh iced tea and sell to the customers...the cans and bottles are tacky. Not far from us sat a group of college kids guzzling beers, their language was quite salty and profane, I asked them twice to cool it (we had 3 youngsters with us) and they pretty much ignored me. I asked for the manager and he/she never showed up to our table. They would have gotten 4 stars if they at least made an attempt to quiet the drunken college kids. Better yet, tossed them out. Chances are we'll give them another shot but it'll be 2 strikes and you're out. This place is tucked away down the hill in the Shoppes at Louviers, across from the big Bank of America complex. read more

This is a great little place in the neighborhood where you can drop in and have a really nice meal or call in and take out. The people are friendly and very welcoming. It's like the "mom & pop" type of place that is in the memories of a lot people who, like me and my family, remember from long ago before there were all those "cookie-cutter" franchise operations where you're not even sure if the food you're getting is even authentic. Cacciatori Pizza are great and the buffalo chicken pizza is the best.

Pizza is awesome here. Best around and the large pizzas are much bigger than other shops. Chicken Caesar is fresh. Dressing is home made.

Cacciatori's is a great local pizza restaurant with easy parking. The staff is very friendly, attentive and the food always come out on time. Besides pizza they have the other Italian dishes you would expect and great salads. They recently upgraded their outdoor deck with a nice awning system so its a good place to have dinner and they serve beer and wine on the deck also. As Chuck D writes, Cacciatori is a great neighborhood place to eat or to carry out food. Their pizza is consistently good, their homemade meat sauce and salad dressing are sensational, and the staff is very friendly. The reason they get four stars instead of five is that their cheesesteaks, an area staple, are just so-so. read more
