I stopped into Cadence for lunch with a friend on Wednesday. I have been driving past this place for a year and was never sure if it was a restaurant or a bike shop. It's both, but my review is limited to the restaurant portion of the business. We walked in and nobody greeted us or told us if we could find our own table, so we just sat down at the bar. After a few minutes the barmaid said hello and provided menus. She was very pleasant, but service was very slow. I'm also not impressed with the very limited menu, but we each found something to eat. I had the buffalo chicken wrap (meh) and my friend had a chicken sandwich (he was also not impressed). The beer selection was decent, and that part of the meal was fine. It's not often that you stumble upon a bike shop, taproom, coffee bar, restaurant, music venue all on one, right next to a park. Kudos to Cadence for doing it all, would be here way more often to take advantage of the events, music, and supplies they have to offer if I lived closer. 10/10 for the bright, open, lodge-like surroundings and friendly service all around... Sandwiches were good enough, the meat on the Korean bbq was a bit tough and I think the veggie sandwich may have been better as a wrap in my opinion, it was a bit too much bread, I would've chose something different than the carrot-like dressing. Why on earth would you sell tickets for a concert here and have only 1 bartender (who is also the only person to order food from)? The place is packed and I've been standing in line for 35 minutes to buy a sandwich and drink and there are still 10 people in front of me. Really cool place! I like the partial bike shop, partial bar/restaurant, partial event space...all in a very cool, lofty barn-ish space. The Goat Pizza (not pictured) with pear, goat cheese, arugula and lemon-thyme dressing was quite good. Flavorful, light, balanced. (More of the dressing, pls!) Brussels were a little soft for my preference...I hate to say it but the nachos are a pass for me. It should have had flavor but the toppings were almost just for show and didn't come through beyond the spiced cheese. What was awesome: the service. Cool guy, attentive and super nice! Visited Cadence for lunch and brews after walking the 5 mile loop around North Park Lake. Loved the vibe, that it is connected to Pro Bike and Run, and that it is conveniently located off the lake loop! Super casual and great to come as you are from the park. Also while we were there, someone was having a bridal shower in the back and it seemed like such an easy breezy casual spot to hold a shower. *keeping this spot in mind for any future friend's showers The service was efficient and kind. We each had a salad, added chicken to both for a small additional fee. I had the orzo salad and it was divinely flavored. The brew list was lengthy and there's something on the list for everyone. To my surprise it was dead for a 70° day in March, but we sat outside. There was no music or background noise so if you weren't talking or with someone it was awkwardly silent. After a few minutes we had a very nice server come wait on us, we both got a beer and ordered the nachos. I noticed the menu was nearly cut in half from what was online, and the waitress explained they were short staffed in the kitchen. Totally get it, but the $12 nachos came out in maybe 3 minutes, a handful of tortilla chips, some beer cheese, "pico" (diced tomatoes), and half melted sprinkled cheese. We ordered the chicken sandwich and pork sandwich, both very tasty-- but over priced for the amount of protein you're getting. The chips were okay, but the buns on both sandwiches were just about burnt. Not going to rave about the food, but definitely a nice spot to enjoy the weather and have a beer. There were several flies bothering us the entire time we were there. From the time we sat down, to the time we received drinks it took a little under an hour. Some people at our table ordered appetizers and I wasn't really impressed with them, it didn't look like quality food at all (I didn't even ask to take a picture for Yelp) I'm not sure if I would come back here to give it a second chance. I've eaten here a number of times before and after the new management took over in early May. Since that time, they implimented a new menu and the food has really taken a step backward. I've tried a number of the menu options and been struck by the lack of value. I joined a number of people on here by trying the grilled chicken wrap and can confirm that for 15 dollars you get half of a chicken breast, some lettuce and a sprinkling of bacon covered in a bland ranch dressing and some pub chips. Similar experience with the onion dip, which is an elevated sour cream based onion dip and costs over $10. I've also tried the new pizzas, which don't live up to the $15+ price tag due to size and quality. After coming here fairly regularly with my family in the past, I don't think I'll be coming here for food in the future unless they bring in food trucks or some other form of outside food - which is too bad, because this could be a nice place with all of the structural and entertainment improvements are being put in place. read more

This is a cool spot, about a 25 or so minutes from downtown. It's a very large space, inside there is a Pro Bike and Run shop and the other has a coffee/ pastry counter along with tables and a bar where you can order food. They have live music inside and it gets pretty busy. Sometimes you can't find parking and the times we were there, they were under staffed so it took a while to order. They also have a nice outdoor space where you can host private events. A stage for live music, outdoor beer garden, and fire pits for the summer. A good place to hangout with friends and large groups. read more

This place has so much potential & I really wanna like it, but both my experiences so far have been lackluster. I know it's hard to find help & early April weather is just warming up making more people flock outside. But, both of my visits were during non-peak hours where there was staff present but it was hard to even grab a beer. This visit I simply wanted to grab a single pint after my walk & I waited at the bar & someone was not working the bar, but was cleaning behind the bar asked if they could help. I said I wanted to grab a beer & sit outside & she asked a girl to wait on me who seemed to ignore her, but then she did finally come over & asked me where I was sitting. I explained I was not sitting, I just wanted to pay for a beer & take it outside (should it be this hard?) and she said if I got food she'd wait on me outside. I did not want FOOD, just ONE BEER. Lol. So she then poured me a beer, I gave her $10 & after a long while she came back with $1 & said she didn't have change yet but owed me 44 cents. I told her to keep it. But that meant I paid $10 for a beer with her tip...and that meant a single beer was $8.56?? That's a ridiculous price for something that was not an imperial or double ipa. Anyway, I was disappointed once again & since I'm rarely in the area of North Park I say try this place at your own risk. read more

Wow, this place is great! I can understand the gripes some of the other reviews have about the service but given the current environment (pandemic + labor shortage), I don't think this is the fault of the restaurant. Have some empathy and compassion people. Yes, it was a bit slow, but the staff was pleasant under what I can only imagine are difficult circumstances! I've been here twice for live music and it is such a unique atmosphere. In spite of being a big open space, the acoustics were great. Music was fun to listen to, beer selection is absolutely fantastic with options to please any palate, and the food is solid even if it does take awhile to arrive. I consider myself a bit of a nacho snob, and the ones I had here were an absolute delight! The grab and go pastries are also delicious.... the blueberry muffins were our fave. Not sure if the outside space is solely for private events. We went to one here and it's an awesome space with lots of potential. I'd be stoked to be invited back here for another event! read more

Cadence+Clubhouse isn't getting the full credit/attention it deserves. The 2.5 Star review as i write this on an outside high top most definitely justifies this (beautiful outdoor views hello?!). I am giving 5 Stars to support this new local business. Once it gets to the well deserved 4 Stars (at least) I'll keep it that way. First things first the building, seating inside and out, and bar just SCREAMS Vermont and/or Colorado. From afar it looks like a church. But it's much more than a restaurant. This place apparently has live music to boot. 5 out of 5 for this little hidden gem on that front. If you ride a bike there is PLENTY of parking for you here. Lets get to the taps. Three VERY important words. TAPS. ARE. CLEAN. Beer tastes REALLY good here. As time goes on one can only hope they keep it this way. If you're a beer brewer or distributor i wouldn't mind being on this menu right now. Food. The menu is most definitely eclectic and not just tasty but fun. Again with the picture reviews i understand the COVID protocol but leaving a Salt & Pepper option would be beneficial. The Pita Pizza is a SOLID 5.9 on the Barstool Pizza Scale. Sure that number isn't the highest but it's solid with the excellent Caesar Salad Wedge that's offered as a possible side. Plenty of options to keep coming back to enjoy the beautiful views available. Again the "Crowd" that seems to be reviewing here may have a little bit too high of expectations. Just met Tammy the kitchen manager. She just let us know that Wednesday Nights are Burger Nights and Saturday Nights are MUSSELS. Safe to say we will be back most DEFINITELY on Saturday now Tammy! Showed up at the time of the reservation only for the manager to tell us they have no food! no one called us never heard of us such ridiculous statement in my life! My wife and I came here for a Friday after work relaxation. We frequent North and have been inside this building for bike related shopping but never to stop here and eat. The atmosphere here is great. This is the perfect place for someone to stop by and eat after a bike rude, run, walk with the dog, etc. The inside dining area is very spacious and includes a large bar and cafe counter. Their is also a large outdoor patio area where we were able to sit and watch a live performance while we were here. For food I ordered the pork nachos and my wife and I split fries with beer cheese. The beer cheese was very good and the fries were solid as well. I would have preferred them deep fried instead of baked and healthy, but still solid item. The nachos were Ok. The pork was good, but the portion size and toppings to chip ratio were a bit light and off. Other reviews have mentioned the service as being very slow. The staff here seemed to be in much better shape than previously seen in other reviews as it was fairly busy and we were taken care of in a very reasonable time. cadence clubhouse shares space on the first floor with biking / running-centric gear..the 2nd floor houses their bike shop with the kick ass HUGE front and side decks, combined with grand 30'+ ceilings up front, u feel as though u r in a ski lodge...they have garage doors they open when its nice...live music inside and out (when nice)...some neat antiques are scattered throughout (including an apple press- pictured) upon entry, the food smell is tantalizing...reminds me of cooking over a camp fire on this visit i had the balela (chickpea) salad, which is very good and portion size is ample...i added chix as well the hot pub-style pretzel was also xcellent...and while the beer cheese dip was ok, the honey mustard dip was great. overall, the food is mayb a 4.25 and the ambiance a 4.50....but what brings the overall rating down is the service...i have been here a few times and each time, it has been spotty, and in mostly different areas each time. i was there on a monday night and it was pretty empty when i arrived...and yet, it took at least a few minutes before i even saw a bar / dining employee...curious and our server was stumped when we ordered a cheese flatbread (as it isnt on the menu), suggesting we order the margarita one instead and just take off the tomatoes...yikes what i know (and from my xperience) is that ultimately, the issues ive observed are on management as these types of issues stem from the top down and workers get their training / or lack thereof from their management. with so many positives about this place, hopefully they start dialing in the customer service read more

Reading the reviews prior to going here, I had a good idea what to expect. We arrived on a Friday evening hoping to catch some live music after grabbing dinner. We decided to sit inside so we did not have to wait for outdoor seating, therefore we were seated right away. The dining area was very spacious and we were seated at a table for 6, as they had very few 2 or 4 person tables - looking around us, it was mostly groups of 2 or 4 at large tables that could seat more. The doors were open to the outdoor patio which allowed the fresh air to flow through the building. They have a decent sized bar by the coffee counter that was pretty busy when we arrived. A waitress came up and took our drink orders almost immediately. The menu was not that big so we were able to decide relatively quickly what we wanted. My husband had the pulled pork nachos, I had the veggie pizza and we split a side of waffle fries with beer cheese sauce. Once ordered, it took quite a long time to receive our food. My pizza was a little smaller than I expected which was ok but it was VERY oily. I believe the waitress said the base of it was a cauliflower crust of some sort which did not bother me except that if you are looking for a traditional flatbread, this is not it. My husbands nachos looked decent but could have used a few more toppings. The pulled pork was very good and probably the highlight of the meal. Also the cheese sauce was decent and I am not typically a fan of cheese sauce. The restaurant picked up and it took quite awhile for our waitress to return to us. Once she did my husband ordered a final beer to take down with him for the live music and we paid for our food and were on our way. The space for the live music has so much potential for future events! They have bleacher like seating, tables, high tops, and fire pits with chairs surrounding them. There were lights strung overhead, a covered bar underneath the side of the building, and they were grilling out back and serving burgers and pulled pork. This was your only food option unless you ordered takeout from the restaurant prior to going to the event space. I believe we will enjoy coming back here for an evening of live music.
