SoCal Dog Training - Vladae in the NEWS

We were so happy with everything that we decided to progress further by sending her to his 2 week boot camp at 16 months old. When I asked why such a good dog would go to boot camp, Vladae responded with, "Same reason that the smartest kids go to university, to become all they can be and hone their skills." That made sense to me! If it was any other boot camp I would have been nervous about my baby. I know how well Vladae treats his campers though and his focus on health and exercise. "Only the tired dog is the good dog" Thank you Vladae!

I wanted to address your recent claims regarding my review of your services. I assure you that I…read morewas a legitimate customer who genuinely shared my honest experience, which I believe is critical for other potential clients. While it's understandable to feel upset when receiving negative feedback, it's important to reflect on the reasons behind my review. I noticed that during our initial interaction, you made a comment about my background that many found to be a stereotypical and racist remark. In fact, I saw that you previously posted video footage of our encounter on your Instagram, but you removed it after receiving backlash for those comments. This indicates that others found your remarks concerning as well. I want to emphasize that my intention was never to harm your business; rather, it was to share my experience. Thankfully, I have since found another trainer who practices positive reinforcement, which aligns much better with my values and my dog's needs.

We definitely recommend Andi!…read more We originally reached out to Andi for consultations regarding both of our Maltipoos, Kiki and Coco. During our initial phone consultation, Andi was incredibly honest and genuine. After learning more about our dogs, she felt that Kiki was the one who would benefit most from formal training and suggested that we could apply what we learned with Kiki to Coco as well. We really appreciated that she didn't try to upsell us on training for both dogs when she easily could have. That immediately showed us how much she genuinely cares about helping dogs and their families. At the time, Kiki was about six months old and was extremely reactive to just about everything in the outside world. We were looking for someone whose methods aligned with our values, and we loved Andi's positive reinforcement approach. Kiki completed Andi's six-week program, and the growth we've seen has been incredible. What sets Andi apart is that she isn't focused solely on teaching dogs tricks or obedience commands. She truly cares about each dog's emotional well-being and how they're feeling throughout the process. We learned so much--not just about Kiki, but about ourselves as dog owners. Andi helped us understand how our own behaviors and responses can shape our dogs, which was eye-opening and incredibly valuable. Of course, the work doesn't stop when the training sessions end. It takes consistency and ongoing practice at home, but Andi gave us the tools and confidence to continue building on Kiki's progress. The effort has been absolutely worth it. One of the best parts is that we were able to use many of the same training methods with our older Maltipoo, Coco, and she learned and benefited from them as well. Andi actively encouraged this, which we really appreciated. If you're looking for a knowledgeable, compassionate, and ethical trainer who truly puts dogs' well-being first, we wholeheartedly recommend Andi and Diamond Dog Training.

Our main issue was walking and pulling on leash. After our six-week training course, our pups improved tremendously. Not only do they no longer pull on walks, but the other techniques Andi shared have also improved our communication with our dogs. Andi is incredibly patient and has a straightforward, easy-to-follow way of explaining things. She followed up after every session with detailed notes and references, which made a huge difference .Again, I cannot recommend Andi and Diamond Dogs Training enough.

Her trainer, Noel, was absolutely fantastic. He was patient, knowledgeable, and clearly experienced with working breeds like German Shepherds. When Mataya came home, the difference was incredible. She is much more obedient, focused, and well-mannered. You can tell that Noel really took the time to work with her and build a solid foundation. I highly recommend Hudson's Canine Kennels to anyone looking for quality training. We are so pleased with Mataya's progress and grateful for the excellent care and dedication she received.

I am not one to write a review whether my experience was positive or negative, but I had to let…read moreother pet owners know. We trusted Hudson Training Facility with our dog, Blaze, and unfortunately our experience ended in a way no pet owner should have to go through. Before dropping Blaze off for a two-week board and train, I had met with Noel and specifically informed him that Blaze had previously broken his front leg. He had fully recovered and been cleared by the vet, but I wanted them to be aware of his history. He informed me he would keep an eye on him and make sure he did not do any strenuous training with him. During the first week, I received videos and updates showing his progress. Then I received a call from Noel telling me there had been an incident and that Blaze was not putting weight on his leg. When I arrived, I was told that Blaze had fallen off the grooming table while Noel had reached down to grab something from the floor. The whole story just sounded fishy to be honest. The fall resulted in Blaze breaking his leg in two places. Joseph (owner) sent me to the vet that they deal with and their doctor told me the break was too severe for his expertise and that Blaze needed a specialist. The vet I went to later explained that the severity of the injury was consistent with the height of the fall. What disappointed me most was how the situation was handled afterward. The owner initially downplayed the injury and said it was probably just a sprain and had the nerve to remind me about the liability waiver that I signed that waives ordinary negligence before we even knew the full extent of the injury. He even mentioned not going through insurance. What the contract does not waive is gross negligence, which is exactly what occured. Joseph ended up going through his insurance but I ultimately had to pay nearly $12,000 upfront for Blaze's surgery and treatment. I could not receive the settlement until Blaze was fully cleared which lasted months. That financial burden was incredibly stressful and could have been devastating for many families. I also requested an injury report and a written statement explaining exactly what happened, but I never received either. To this day, I still do not know exactly what happened. To top it off, when I picked Blaze up, he was dirty, his paws were dry, his nose was chapped, and he looked poorly cared for compared to when I dropped him off. Accidents can happen, but this felt preventable, especially if you are a professional training facility. The lack of accountability, communication, and documentation, is why I cannot recommend Hudson Canine Kennels to other pet owners.

It is easy to book your stays through the app and everything has ran smoothly for my experience so far. They require all records prior to your first stay to make sure the dogs are up to date on vaccinations, etc. There are also a number of enrichments offered at an extra cost to entertain your pup, and on certain days of the week they have specialty enrichments. On my pup's last stay we ordered a pup cup and I did not expect to receive pictures in email of her enjoying it. That made my day. There are always cameras available to check in on your doggy to make you feel at ease. My pup is always excited and always playing during her stays and she is excited to go in when we arrive, she isn't even worried about me heading off and she's still happy when we come back for her. Then there is the additional perk of your pup being wiped out for a nice portion of the day when you return. Thank you Camp Bow Wow and especially for having staff around at all times, and for making it possible to take trips with ease knowing our pup will be taken care of.

Mind you we have not rescued many but enough to know they need special care and Camp Bow Wow has done such a beautiful job of loving our babies and helping them to feel safe, which gives us peace of mind. When brought our current dog home about six months ago, we gave her a bit of time and then introduced her to Camp Bow Wow. It has been such a help to help socialize her around dogs and people and now she gets so excited when we bring her in. She has learned to interact with other dogs and with people, play until her heart's content and take breaks when she needs to. She always comes home tiered in the best way. Thank you for taking care of our babies Camp Bow Wow!
