No cover on NYE?! count me in! The bartender gave me a generous pour of champagne in a wine glass lols I'm not complaining. I got there around 10:30p well before the countdown. It was so fun! The DJ Gray Young was pretty good. I loved that we could walk across the street from our hotel too! Would love to come back just to hang out if I'm ever back in town. read more

Wonderful time at Cadet its a wine and beer bar right off the main street in Napa. The bartenders and servers were very efficient and so friendly and offered to let me sample wines before purchasing. The charcuterie board was perfect. I heard on weekends they have a DJ and it really turns into the Hot spot in napa! Great casual spot check out. read more

We came in here for some AC and for a quick drink - it was quite empty mid Sunday but it appears like it's bumping in the evenings. The bartender was friendly and quick - we got one glass of rose and one cocktail that was sangria-esque but very refreshing.They had a small food menu as well and clean restrooms - definitely a nice spot for before dinner drinks or late night snack. read more

Came here twice will in Napa. The first time I ordered the wine flight and you get your pick of 3 wines. My favorite was the cab, so the next time we came, I ordered that one twice. Super tasty. We came pretty early both nights, but by the time we left, it got packed. Great vibes. Definitely a great night spot. read more

Came here with some friends on a Monday night and had an absolute blast! The ambience, the service, the food and drinks...100/10! Our group had the best time here. Our server Jose was so sweet (despite us being loud lol) and got us our food and drinks out in no time. I love the mood lighting here; it really adds a winding-down, relaxing vibe to the place. We ordered this chocolate panini with marshmallow whip, which was so freaking good! Overall, I very much enjoyed spending time with my friends here and would recommend this place! read more

WOW! What a cool place. We came out of a wine tasting somewhere else and they recommended us to spend some time there until dinner. Came here on a Saturday night for some drinks. Seating available inside and outside. We were able to get a small table in the corner which was nice. Great drink selection. We ordered at the bar but when it got busier, someone came around and took our drink order which was nice. Haven't tried the food but would def come back again in the future to try! read more

Not really one to leave reviews but I felt the need to this time, me and my friends went in around 11:15 and they notified us it was last call and were handed some menus, so we were okay with just ordering a quick drink before they close in 45 minutes! We went up to the bar and the female bartender refused to serve us a drink because it was "last call" so we had left and then walked back and noticed the people that were waiting at the bar after us were served drinks immediately. read more

Stopped in the other nite because I've been curious about this place. Great place to hang out after dinner and extent your evening. Great selection of wines, they serve spirits as well. We decided to host a welcome party for our wedding weekend at Cadet. We inquired about hosting a private party with Leah a few months prior, and the entire time leading up to the event day, she was extremely communicative, helpful, and friendly. She provided recommendations on how to structure food/drinks for a large group, as well as provided frequent updates. The day of the event, Leah and her team were set up for us before anybody arrived, which made it super easy for my wife and I to relax and enjoy our time with our friends and family without any stress. The service from Leah and her team was excellent, and the vibe of the wine bar was just so perfect for our group. Also, the small bites / canapes that were served were all delicious. Overall, we had a great time at Cadet, and would highly recommend stopping in for a glass of wine or hosting a private party here. read more

Dark, good music, nice looking people, indoor and outdoor settings, service is quick, drinks are affordable.. it gets crowded at night and is one of the few spots that are open really late, tucked in a clean and lit up alley. Its a very mature crowd and dress code was very casual. Nice place to hang out late night and is very clean, small and intimate place. I will return. We enjoyed the wine , music and nice atmosphere. Cute little wine and beer bar! A very intimate place during the day and night for first dates or just any dates with your family/ friends! First, the ambiance of this place is super chills. So please don't bring any bad vibes here! The music they play fits perfectly well. Nothing too upbeat or too mellow. As soon as my sisters and I entered, we were immediately greeted with a menu and thankfully, we found a table! Note: this isn't a spacious place; it'll get packed in here. They do have outdoor seating but it's still too cold (Feb. 2020). We each got a wine flight ($20). Comes with your choice of three two-ounce wines: bubbles, whites, reds, rose. Unfortunately, I don't remember what I got, but to be completely honest, I only favored the third glass from the left. It was a white. They do have snacks such as cheese/ meat boards and/or paninis. Went here after wine tasting to continue the ~ wine vibes ~ for the night. It was fairly empty when we got there but it took quite a while for the wine and meat/cheese board to come out. Decent white wine and paired well with the food. Liked the assortment they had for the platter but would have preferred the bread to be slightly less toasted since it was way too crunchy. read more

This recent visit i felt as if i had been here before and realized that I had!! we ordered a bottle of wine and just hung out ...this place seems to stay open later than neighboring bars (COVID)... friendly service... good volume ..music was there but we could still converse. the place is tucked away and not visible from the street. i'll remember it for next time! read more

The most extensive, unique and diverse wine list in a downtown Napa . They recently partnered with Oenotri the Italian spot next door to serve the most delightful chacuterie boards! I love this place because it's where young wine industry professionals who live in Napa go to party! On Wednesdays, they host a winemaker, or regionally themed BTG tasting that is always new and interesting, often hosted by local winemakers themselves. I highly recommend stopping by Cadet after dinner in downtown Napa. read more

Great service! We were recommended this place by one of the servers from a restaurant nearby. My friend only likes sweet wine, which they didn't have, but the bartender was determined to find her something that she would like. We settled with a black currant cider, and it was so good! They also have some small bites as well but we were too full from dinner. The ambiance is nice, and dark with a nice crowd. It is a little hidden from the main street but worth it. Worst customer service in wine country. I'm local and went for a glass of wine after dinner with a friend on a busy Friday night, it took a full 20 minutes for any bartender to acknowledge us. That's 20 minutes of sitting at the bar, bartenders less then a foot away. Three bartenders, all equally rude and unwelcoming. The wine, ambiance & music were good, but the service tainted the experience. The proprietor should explain the importance of servers making eye contact with guests and greeting them. We understand if you're busy, but no one wants to pay to be ignored. read more

Came here the other night with a friend & it's pretty hip & to be honest with you, the ambiance is perfect. Friendly staff. The drinks are moderately priced for Napa. & the drinks they offer include a wide range of wines & beer -especially the local ones. This place is cool. Great place to get a beer or glass of wine (x2?) and snacks! We love the mackerel and pickled onions and toast points. The outdoor seating area is creative and we appreciate the attentive staff. Also, the music is GREAT. It's fun to hang out in a space that is removed (but very close to) the busy-ness of First Street and yet has its own energetic pulse. The staff as I've mentioned before is unrivaled. Leslie, Kat, Kelly, and Ben make each visit special. It's more than just the magnificent wines and their knowledge. We really enjoy speaking with them and hearing their insights on the local area, plus just general life talk. We were pleased to meet a new member today, Alyssa, who will be replacing Ben as Tasting Manager. Ben is moving on to other things with AO. With a wasabi and fennel infused vodka, it was too unique not to be curious about. Upon arriving and looking over the menu, SEVERAL cocktails stood out to me as intriguing to try. I started with the Wabi Sabi which was as interesting as it sounded. While I didn't pick up on fennel, you do pick up on the wasabi, but in the most subtle of ways. Think maybe lime/ginger sparkling water with just a hint of spice. Refreshing and different for sure. I also tried the Mucha Lucha w/ cilantro infused Siete Leguas Blanco, chorizo infused mezcal and cubes made of hot sauce that make the drink have a bit more of a kick as you allow them to melt. I did the HH chips and guac which was also accompanied with a tasty Chipotle sauce. Damn good actually. It'd be excellent served in a variety of ways. The deviled eggs aren't going to blow your mind, but I like that you get 4 different ones- and simply because I love eggs, I'd order them again. (They just wouldn't be a dish that brings me back). The bartender was great- helpful and attentive, even as more people began to filter in for an early afternoon. I'll definitely be back next time I'm in Napa to check out some other menu options.

What was great about the Saudade was that it has coffee ice in the drink. It is meant to sip over 30 mins. When you first have a sip it tastes amazing , but it took a lot of willpower to sip over the 30 mins to allow the coffee ice to melt. As it melts it becomes a completely different flavor profile. It's a long bar with bar seats. There are about 4 smaller seatings around the bar and a pretty large outdoor area. We were having dinner next door after drinks, which made for a nice evening.

My husband and I were able to call ahead and schedule a very last-minute tasting, and from the very beginning, the hospitality was exceptional. I work in the wine industry on the retail side in Texas, while my husband does not, so creating an experience that feels both educational and approachable for both of us is not always easy. Steve absolutely nailed it. He welcomed us warmly, shared thoughtful stories about the wines and the winery, and made the experience feel incredibly personal. The tasting room itself is beautiful and feels like a hidden gem in Napa. We especially loved learning about the wines and the woman winemaker behind Levendi. The tasting was stunning from start to finish. What truly sets Levendi apart, though, is the level of hospitality. Since our visit, I have referred many of my favorite clients to Levendi, and Steve consistently goes above and beyond for them. He bends over backwards to make sure my customers are taken care of, and every single person I've sent has come back raving about their experience. At this point, a trip to Napa would not feel complete without a stop at Levendi. I honestly cannot imagine Napa without Levendi -- or Steve. If it's your first visit, do yourself a favor and try the Stagecoach. You won't be sorry.

Most of our table ordered steaks, I ordered the long boned pork chop (5/5), with a green peppercorn sauce. The chop was cooked to the right temperature and was clearly brined, as it was moist, tender, and had great char. We order corn, fries, and lobster Mac & Cheese for the table to share. Everyone loved their steaks and we nearly polished off all the sides. My only comment to our super tasty meal is the large baked potato ordered by one of my friends was baked way too long and was overcooked. It had been years since I had dinner last at Cole's. The food and service team are top notch as I remembered. It's definitely still the best steakhouse in Napa. I highly recommend.

The Service Unfortunately, the dining experience was really let down by how rushed we felt. Servers were constantly hovering and picking up plates while half of our group was still actively eating. It reached a point where one of my friends was practically interrogated about whether she was finished. They kept coming back to check on her plate so many times that she eventually just gave up, got annoyed, and told them to just take it away before she was even done. It's hard to enjoy great food when you feel like an inconvenience or a timer is ticking down. I'd love to come back for the flavors, but the staff needs to let guests actually breathe and enjoy their meals.

This place is a new favorite of mine…read more I think as I go to more and more Tiki Bars, I really gravitate to the ones that have more unique drinks. I make drinks at home. I've had a traditional Mai Tai a million of times. Do you have Tiki Drinks that are going to make me want to drive 45 minutes to you? On top of that, is your food worth it? I'm happy to say that the answer to both of these questions are yes. I've gone here 3 times within the last two weeks and one item that is a constant order is the Orange Chicken. Nowadays I think people are used to the classic super sweet Panda Express style Orange Chicken that you'll also see occasionally at your local Chinese food restaurant. Wilfred's Orange Chicken definitely is sweet but its not as sweet as what I used to and I'm not mad about it. There's a lot of depth with the sauce. I don't know if they are just putting more soy sauce or dark soy sauce...Maybe it's Oyster/Fish sauce? Theres definitely some kind of extra Umami going on. An added plus is that it pair perfectly with the tanginess of the Pineapple Fried Rice. For drinks my favorites have been the Manta Ray and the Sanfroyosko. The reason being is just because these have been the more unique ones that I've been really enjoying. The Manta Ray is more tropical than one might think. However it's tropical with a bit of funk. The combination of the Gin, Falernum, and Sauv Blanc Syrup really add to the complexity. The other drink I really like is the Sanfroyosko. If you are a Mai Tai lover, this is the one to try. The substitution of the typical tums with the Shochu, Sake and Pisco add even more of a Wine and floral flavor profile to the drink. On top of that the Sesame Orgeat gives and even more nuttier flavor than normal. But despite all these flavors going on, it still kinda tastes like a Mai Tai. The service has always been amazing. Every person who has served us has served us with a smile. But even despite how friendly they are, there still remains this sense of professionalism with their interactions. They check in at the perfect times. They ask how we are enjoying everything and share their favorite things to drink/eat. With the amazing tiki decor and island music, you really do feel like you are on an Island anytime you eat here.
