This tasting room is a hidden gem, beautifully situated on the corner of First Street and Randolph. The space blends charm and elegance, featuring beautiful wood (BW) throughout and a vintage ceiling fan system that adds a touch of character and cool comfort. Everyone having wine chose the Signature Flight, which included one white and three reds. I appreciated the option to substitute a Sauvignon Blanc for the Chardonnay, a nice personal touch. Each wine was distinctive, balanced, and delicious in its own way. You could really tell the care and craftsmanship behind every pour. What really stood out was the hospitality. Our host was not only incredibly thoughtful but impressively knowledgeable. She explained where each wine's grapes were grown, described the flavor profiles we could expect, and added insights into how the terroir influenced the wine -- all without it ever feeling too technical or over our heads. Even better, our designated driver was offered iced tea, lemonade, or an Arnold Palmer, which I really appreciated. It's always a plus when tasting rooms consider the full group's experience, not just the drinkers. The vibe was so warm and relaxing, we ended up staying for over two hours. It felt less like a stop and more like a true experience. Definitely one of the highlights of our time in downtown Napa.

Fantastic experience here at Alpha Omega! Great corner spot with indoor and outdoor seating, with a really terrific wine selection. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff and a couple of extra samples made all the difference! Would highly recommend the Flagship flight, they had the best chardonnay I've ever tried!

We came in on a Monday and Kat and Kelly were so funny and educational. It has been awhile since we had visited the property up valley and we're glad we saw this downtown location!

Old friends visiting from out of state, we happened to stroll in located in the middle of downtown Napa on First St. First thing you noticed is the comfortable seating and Ambiance, dark wood very nice. We tried the curated flight and the signature Flight, the wine just kept coming from rose' , to reds, cabs ,and Spanish wine, loved trying all the varieties! But what really made this fun was Leslie our wine educator!!! She was so friendly and personable' and that laugh! She was great! Made our day!

Great corner location on main to sip wine and enjoy the scene of downtown Napa during cocktail hour. The staff and tasting room was bustling on a Saturday. No sign of business slowing in spite of the pandemic. We shared a tasting because we had dinner reservations soon after this tasting. Tastings range from $55 a person to around $100. There was a day there were twenty to fifty dollar tasting fees and been told that in the 70's and 80's there were none. The wine industry needs to survive and it is doing its best. The tasting fee is not redeemable if you purchase wine. There is a small food menu available though we did not order. We observed our neighbors enjoying the fries and they did look yummy. Our wine host was formal, professional, informative and helpful. The check in at the main bar upon arrival is also formal and professional as the wines range from $45-250 The staff is visibly very task oriented about reservations, time limits at tables and organization as well as structure of how things run. The vibe is definitely more serious. The clientele is reflective of their more formal casual environment as well. We did enjoy sitting outdoors at a corner table at cocktail hour and learned a lot about this years wines.

At the recommendation of a colleague who lives in the area - he suggested the AOC as they represented 3 district wineries with wine by the glass as well as wine flights. Unfortunately I forgot to take pictures while there but I ordered their pinot noir which was really good - so good that I had a second glass. My colleague also had the same but for his second glass he chose one of the bold Cabernets. Outdoor seating was available mid afternoon when we went on a Tuesday with great service by the young female attendant who gave us a discount since we work in the industry.

Had a lovely experience at the Alpha Omega tasting room where I was actually introduced to a Chardonnay I actually enjoyed! But really we had a fantastic experience with I believe a Polish girl. We started off with a Chardonnay that was buttery to the feel but had zero butter notes and I couldn't believe how good it was. While not take away from the rest of the wine we tried that was the stand out for me because I typically don't enjoy Chardonnay. The rest of the tastings was enjoyed with Some splendid cabs from across the country. The sando was actually pretty damn bomb, while we initially weren't going to eat, seeing it come out I knew I needed to try it. When I go back I'll stop by alpha again without a doubt.

Not enough time in the day to visit all the wineries in Napa Valley? Walk to one of the many tasting rooms in downtown Napa, instead! The Alpha Omega Collective is the parent company for Alpha Omega Winery, Tolosa Winery, and Perinet Winery. In 2019, the Alpha Omega Collective tasting room opened in a historic downtown Napa Valley building across from the Archer Hotel. Each flight contains at least one wine from one of the three Alpha Omega Collective owned wineries. Recommend to make reservations as this popular tasting room provides the ideal spot for people watching while enjoying a great selection of wines with exceptional service.

Dog friendly! Plus they gave our pup water and treats.

After we finished eating, I frantically researched (read: checked Yelp) for a winery to visit. Housley seemed to fit the bill--good reviews, dog-friendly (we had her dog with us), and what seemed to be a reasonable tasting price. We get there and we realize it's owned by Tamera Mowry (who is now Mowry-Housley!) There's a picture of her and her husband (a former baseball player) in the window. We're sort-of starstruck. Shortly after, her husband (and the winery's owner) Adam walks up with their daughter and asks us how we're doing. We continue to be starstruck. Service was wonderful. Seating was comfy. The views weren't the best (we were drinking on the sidewalk and there's a parklet too.) The 5 wines for $29 was not bad, but the size of the pours was lacking. The first pour was the smallest and then slowly they seemed to give us more (maybe they heard me!) Honestly, the pricier wines tasted better. I wish our wine tasting could've been free if we bought two bottles or something--I would've done that! Cute merch and store with goodies inside. Bathroom is clean. Would be back!

Nice touches adorn the restaurant throughout. The menu has a lot of wonderful options. The service, provided by Alex, was excellent. We started with the Dungeness Crab arancini, which are probably the best thing we ate all evening, and that's saying a lot because everything we had was great. These arancini are perfectly fried crab meat rolled into a ball served over a delicious tartar sauce. I wish I had 3 orders of this, at least. We ordered the soup of the day and their bread service. The soup was a white bean and sausage and it was perfectly salty and fatty. The bread and butter was a perfect accompaniment. The Carpe Diem salad was also really special. It had these Cabernet soaked dried cranberries that were so good and tart. For an entree, we ordered the short ribs which come over a risotto. It felt a little heavy, and maybe the sauce could've used a little acid to cut the heaviness. It was still really delicious though. For dessert, we had the espresso crème brûlée. This was just the icing on the cake of a great meal. I love Carpe Diem and hope to come back soon!

The front windows were open, bringing the outside in, and there were multiple seating areas that could accommodate groups of all sizes. They even had a big-screen TV showing the World Cup game. Everything about this place was a yes for our semi-large group. When we sat down, we were warmly greeted by a woman in a yellow shirt. I believe her name was Shea. She was amazing and definitely not the reason I considered taking off a star. Shea was lovely, attentive, and took great care of our group. There were quite a few great wines on the menu. The flights were a little on the pricey side, but hey, this is downtown Napa. Overall, we were enjoying our family time, but there was one sour grape working that day. I'm not sure of her name, but she was wearing a black shirt and had dirty blonde hair pulled back in a ponytail. She looked unpleasant and like she wasn't happy to be there. Normally, I wouldn't write about someone I didn't directly interact with, but I can't get over the way she spoke to her coworker, Shea. She was condescending and bossed her around. At one point, I watched her interrupt Shea while she was helping other guests by calling out to her from behind the bar. She didn't seem to care about any of the patrons, almost as if they were an inconvenience. Will definitely be back but only when the sour grape isn't working.

I also tried the Mucha Lucha w/ cilantro infused Siete Leguas Blanco, chorizo infused mezcal and cubes made of hot sauce that make the drink have a bit more of a kick as you allow them to melt.
