It is too expensive for the quality of the pictures. There was only one good picture. Too much editing and makeup. The makeup artist gets too close to your face without a mask. Imagine having your makeup done for two hours while the artist's face is one inch away from your face. Also, the makeup artist doesnt use sanitary practices such as using disposable lip applicators. She will use the lipstick directly on your lips, so you basically had contact with other costumer's saliva. Dont recommend at all. read more

I had Tym for my bridal make up & make up trial. I recommend a make up trial for all brides so you know what hairstyle you want for your day & you can ask for adjustments on your wedding day (example: more color on lips, soft eyebrows, etc). I showed Tym some inspo pictures and showed what style I like from each like eyeshadow from this picture, lip color from this other picture, etc. Tym uses high end make up (ex: Dior) & hair products as well. Tym made me feel confident and beautiful on my wedding day! Throughout the day, I had to retouch my lip color and blush which was expected due to eating and being out all day that my blush would fade at night. I love that my make up & hair did last all day until 1am and no make up separation. Everyone kept complimenting how my make up look sooo good throughout the night. We had our engagement shoot at Cadie's studio yesterday. They have a store front for their wedding gown/suits that's facing the street and in the back of the parking lot on the opposite side is where they prep you for hair makeup. It's also the same building they do their photoshoots. Their worker assisted me in picking my wedding dress for the shoot. I was undecisive. She was very patient and showed me a few of their wedding albums to see if any dresses peaked my interest. She then picked out 4-5 dresses for me to try on. After we found the dress I liked, I headed across the building to get my hair and makeup done. Tim was my hair and makeup artist. I gave him free creativity and trusted him on his best judgement for my look. My make up looked flawless. A little off topic here, I went to a music festival right after the shoot and my make up stayed on all night! I was greeted by Huong. She's super sweet, friendly, and very attentive to detail. She showed me a few options for our photoshoot and we picked one that was super dreamy.During our shoot, her staff were full hands on deck, including Tym, my makeup artist. Guided our poses, fix my dress, adjust his suit, everything. We even brought our pup Dash for our shoot and they, too, dressed him up for our shoot! This overall experience was amazing and I highly recommend everyone coming to Huong and her team to execute your engagement/wedding photoshoot. She throughly communicated what she was going to do, and gave us a time estimate on when things are to be done. I'm super excited to see how the photos turn out! TIP: Communication is key. If you don't like something, speak up. Don't wait. I feel many times we want to "trust the process," but if there's something you don't like during your makeup/hair or photoshoot, speak up. During our shoot, I had one request. I looked up the photo that I wanted to imitate. Huong and her team immediately went to work and help us execute the photo we wanted. I booked Tym for makeup and hair for myself, my mom and my mother in law for my wedding day. Without a trial, my makeup and hair turned out to be really beautiful. I got a lot of compliments for my makeup. I myself loved how my hair turned out. I sent Tym inspo photos for the makeup and hair and Tym was able to deliver both! All the hair accessories were provided by him, and I even got to keep them! Maybe because of my skin texture (I wish I had better skin), the makeup looked quite heavy for the first 4hr. But after that, it looked really natural and well blended with my skin. I got married in July, and the venues were indoors, and no touchup was needed (which was actually recommended by Tym, I really love how genuine he is for recommending no touchup). For reference, makeup and hair were done at 11:30am and the makeup still looked great at 10pm. My MIL had her hair and makeup done by Tym too. Her makeup turned out really nice, and no complaint about the hair. My mom though had a different person for both hair and makeup, although I had originally asked for Tym when I did the booking. Because of this and given the pricing is on the higher side, I'm knocking off 1 star, because my mom's hair and makeup did not turn out as good as we were hoping for. Overall I highly recommend Tym for your bridal makeup and hair if it fits your budget. He is very a nice and gentle guy, and is very accommodating when it comes to making final changes to your makeup/hair to make sure you're happy with the result. read more

We added 2 toddlers to the shooting and they were very friendly with them and tried to make the best as they could ( you know boy toddlers don't stay still haha).
