Yesterday was my friend's special day and I was a bridesmaid. Such an honor that my friend hired a talented artist to do our makeup and hair. Chi Trinh and her assistant are amazing and fun to work with. I thought it would be a challenge to do my makeup because I have really small eyes and I didn't have much rest so I looked really tired at 5am. She did her magics and after 1 & half hour, I was amazed. My friend, the bride, cannot stop smiling and complimenting me. Lol. The makeup and hair last throughout the night. Please do NOT get eyelash extensions done by Trinh. I have had beautiful extensions done before and this is my worst experience yet. I know how to take care of eyelash extensions. They looked great the first day. The next day I woke up and took a closer look at the extensions and saw a lot of clumps. I took an even closer look and saw that she applied one false lash to two or three of my own lashes. This is NOT how individual extensions should be or are applied. There were many places on my lashes where two or three false lashes (attached to 4-6 of my own) were clumped together with the glue It was very uncomfortable. I attempted to get into contact with her to get them removed or refunded because they looked horrible but she had gone on vacation. I had them removed by another professional and even she was appalled by how they were done. I have contacted Trinh and she said it is too late to get a refund because it had already been 9 days and she would compensate me with a makeover or one of her other services but this is not what I wanted. Do not get extensions done by Trinh The amount of glue she uses and how she applies them will end up ripping your lashes and making your lash line irritated once the lashes start to grow out. read more

It was a little more than I had budgeted for but I liked her portfolio and wedding hair/make up isn't something I wanted to go cheap and cut corners on so I sucked it up and I'm so glad I did! Been going to Trinh for about 4 years now. She did my wedding party makeup and hair and also my immediate family. They all loved the outcome. ATTENTION soon to be brides! Be cautious with doing your wedding makeup trial with Bang Trinh! Her makeup and hair skills are HORRIBLE and it's NOT worth $200 for the trial. My makeup was put on very light, even the eye shadows. There was not enough coverage and no POP to my face. I wanted glow to my skin, my eyes to pop. but the end result was plain dull. Something I could of done myself. Not to mention that my eye shadows didn't blend out nicely. I asked her to fix it, and after her "fix" the result was still the same. I was very disappointed with the final results. Before I left, I told her what I didn't like and she did not even look at me when I was talking to her. She was too busy working on her next client that had arrived early to her appointment. She rushed on my trial, to get her next appointment started. I didn't want to be rude and talk bad about her makeup skills while she had a client there. So I told her nicely that I will contact her on Monday and discuss it with her. I hated my hair, an up do by the way, even more than her makeup. It's nothing like the picture I showed her. It only took her 30 min to do my hair and the result was hideous. She gave me an unattractive up do and the "poof" was so uneven. I went home and re-did my hair & makeup myself before I attended my friends wedding. The following Monday after my trial, I asked her to call me back regarding the trial and of course she didn't call me or text me back. Why? Because she knew she did a bad job on my trial and I was not happy with it. She took my $200 and didn't care if I was happy with her service or not. She didn't even bother to call or text me back to find out what I don't like about my trial. The following day, Tuesday morning, I sent her another message stating that she obviously didn't care about her customers satisfaction, that she obviously didn't mind a bad review on yelp. and guess what?! She finally, immediately responded with, "I'm sorry you are not happy and good luck with your wedding!" that's it? really? $200 got me a good luck on your wedding?! Unbelievable!!!! I could of paid myself $200 for the work she did. I would never recommend this place for your wedding trial or even for your wedding day. Please save your money and go with a different makeup artist. read more

Just got eyelashes put on by her for the first time ever yesterday.. It's only been a day and I have gotten compliments from so many people. I love them! She uses mink lashes so they're not super heavy on the eye. Also she is super nice and explains how to take care of them so they can last long. It's $120 for the lashes and I think $30 for a fill (Not sure maybe it's $60 hahah)! If you have little tiny eyelashes and are tired of putting on falsies every time you go out, I definitely would recommend going here for extensions! She's the best! :) read more

Trinh is exceptionally good at what she does. She has been doing my eyelash extensions for over two years now and I always love the end results. When I first tried eyelash extensions, I went to ULTA Beauty and it took almost two hours (not to mention the ULTA extensions were extremely overpriced) and at the end they were just okay. Not too long afterwards, I heard about Trinh from a friend who had previously went to her and raved about her eyelashes. Since then, I've been hooked! Trinh takes her time, is very thorough and pays attention to detail. I opt for the shorter-medium length for a more natural look and she makes them look fantastic! She offers a variety of eyelash extensions depending on your preference. I get the individual lash extensions, which takes about 30 minutes to an hour to apply, but you can also get "party" lashes which are in smaller strips of 5 and it only takes about 20 minutes for her to apply. The length of time that it lasts on each person varies, but when I got the "party" lashes they lasted me about 2-3 weeks and the individual ones can last me over a month. It really depends on you and how well you take care of them. I would never go to anyone else and would highly recommend her! She will not disappoint! read more

Bang Trinh is an amazing make-up artist. I am getting married in Bora Bora and was in need of make up lessons in order to do my own bridal make up. I am extremely happy that I found her. Trinh works miracles. I immediately booked her to do makeup for my entire bridal party on my wedding day after looking at the photos posted on her website and Yelp. I love getting my eyelashes done by Trinh! When I first considered getting eyelash extensions, I wasn't sure what it would be like as far as procedure, maintenance, and cost. Before going to Trinh, I called two other places: the first place was way too expensive and the lady didn't want to answer my questions over the phone (she wanted me to book an appointment first) and the second place never called me back after several calls and messages. So I called Trinh and she was very sweet and informative over the phone. She didn't pressure me to get them done but answered my questions honestly and thoroughly. It's been a few months now that I have been getting my lashes done by her and I am always very happy with the results. The procedure is actually very relaxing (I think I fell asleep a few times!) and Trinh is very detailed and careful in her application. The lashes look very natural and she can vary the length and fullness for the desired result. I'm hooked now and can't be without them! Trinh's also a sweet person and very personable. I actually came here 4 years ago for my quinceanera. I had my make up and hair done here. We also had the photographer and videographer for my party.
