Chicken shawarma was good. Garlic and pickles. Place is never packed so the wait is not long.

Dangerous lack of allergy safety, zero empathy, and a complete liability!…read more Very sad because I came here with my husband a few weeks prior and the food was good, well, the breakfast was good that I ordered (apple french toast) ...his burger looked pretty Basic B. Actually, his words were it was "just okay". At the time, I thought it was his fault. Like, why would you order a burger at a breakfast joint? But whatever he doesn't like breakfast.. anywho I have 0 pictures from yesterday because I was so annoyed. It distracted me from pics but just imagine french toast with strawberries, blueberries, whipped cream , and (what we were told was strawberry sauce drizzled over it) I am writing this review because the level of negligence, poor communication, and awful customer service at this establishment is a massive safety hazard. My Sister and I were here yesterday around 1pm . We ordered some coffee drinks and chatted with the waitress a bit, she mentioned she had been there for over 20 years. So she worked there the under the previous names but same owners, Kikos and before that i cant recall the name . We decided to split the Very Berry French toast. My sister immediately asked, does it have raspberries on it? Because i'm allergic to raspberries. Waitress replies , no ," we don't even have raspberries here" I take a quick glance at the menu and notice that there is raspberry sauce on the Monte cristo. So I say , please make sure there's no raspberry sauce because I do see that on the menu and Just to reiterate , she is allergic to raspberries , so please make sure...and she said , no problem! Drinks come, were chattng , the french toast comes out, looks amazing. We each take one bite from each end. And we both look at each other bc we immediately notice raspberry taste. I immediately waved the waitress over to the table and told her we tasted raspberry, she said, "there's no raspberries in that, but if you want, I can have them remake it" she seemed annoyed. We were speechless , waitress then quickly left to have it remade u assume? Idk ! Even tho my Sis only took one bite and stopped eating, she still suffered an immediate allergic reaction including a swollen tongue and hives in her throat that lasted for days. My sister had to leave immediately to get medication from a pharmacy, while I stayed at the table to wrap things up. I Spoke to the manager and explained what happened, the response was completely unbelievable. Instead of apologizing, she defended the staff, saying, "She didn't do it on purpose, it's not her fault." It turns out the kitchen ran out of strawberry syrup and they substituted it with raspberry syrup. attention owners if you change an ingredient--especially a common allergen--you MUST inform your staff. Also, a server.. (especially one that's been around the block for like 20 years as she said) should know better- always write allergy alerts on the kitchen ticket. The manager offered to remake the food, but I told her, "No, please don't, she's probably not going to eat it, we don't trust you at this point." She brought out a remade plate anyway, so I started to box it up. At that point, my sister came back from the pharmacy and told me her throat was swelling and itchy really bad and we needed to leave immediately. I left the food. As we got up, I noticed they left a bill for our two lattes and only took off the French toast. We hadn't even had a chance to drink the lattes!!!!! We went up to the front counter to clarify since the manager said it would be taken care of. The cashier went back to talk to the manager, and I could see them arguing back-and-forth about it. At that point, I was so incredibly annoyed that I waved my money in the air and said, "You know what, never mind, I'll pay for the lattes." I told the cashier, "This is unbelievable. They literally poisoned my sister, but we are still paying for lattes we couldn'teven enjoy" I threw the cash down on the desk and walked out. They are incredibly lucky my sister only took one bite. Avoid this place at all costs if you have food allergies.

We decided to sit out at the patio cause it was a nice day. They had a band getting ready to play which was pretty cool. We ordered a couple cocktails I got a Peach Old Fashioned which was very delicious and boozy. As for an appetizer we ordered these Pretzel sticks which were soft and chewy and then the cheese that came with it was delicious. The burger I had was called "Fire Haven" it had onions, tomato and jalapeños on it with 2 hamburger patties, it had lettuce but I asked for no lettuce since we have this parasite going around the U.S. right now, The burger was quite tasty and very fulfilling, the jalapeño had a nice crunch to it and the meat was seasoned very well. I also ordered a German Dunkel beer which I didn't really care for, I thought I would like it cause I love dark beers but I guess I don't like German dark beers. Everything here was so good. We were able to seat ourselves, the waitress, who was also the bartender, serves us our cocktails really fast and just everything was spot on.

This is a German restaurant in name only. Service was sub-par. My party sat for 10-15 minutes before water was offered. Ordered appetizers and our dinners. Dinners came first followed five minutes later by appetizers. My order of Chicken paprikash was lukewarm and I could find very little chicken in it. I was so hungry I regrettably ate it that way. Waitress never checked back if everything was ok or if we wanted another round of drinks. I generously give two stars because the Weihenstephaner Dunkel on draft is a rare find and the German egg rolls are outstanding. Other than that, our visit was sehr enttäuschend (disappointing)

For example, I get the "Hearty" breakfast most of the time and it comes with eggs, meat, pancakes, potatoes and toast, and it really highlights what is this place's strength. Eggs: I get mine scrambled and have a nice selection of hot sauce to choose from. Meat: I appreciate that they offer turkey sausage since I don't eat beef or pork, but my wife loves their bacon if that's your thing. Pancakes: quality varies the most here as they are sometimes a little pale (but still good) but more often the idyllic golden one expects when ordering. Potatoes: lots of variety here, too, as my home fries come in different sized cuts with seasoning ranging from none to "no need for salt or pepper?" Toast: Again, wide variety of choices, I go with sourdough most often If this sounds like a lot of food, there are lots of other options that make it appealing to smaller appetites. But what I like about the "Hearty" is all the choices and the variation in style (probably depends on who's staffing the griddle) allows me to order the same meal and still feel like I'm getting some variety. Having said that, keep an eye out for the specials. They sometimes are tempting enough to get me to stray from usual. In addition to good food, the service is always friendly, and we've been back enough times to where I think every server recognizes us. Like I said, it's a favorite.

First thing that I wasn't happy with although they weren't very busy we stood at that the door about 7 minutes b4 anyone acknowledged we were there. They just kept walking by not looking our way. We called first and was told they were reserving a table for us because we were on the way. No one did nor did anyone know who we spoke too. But our waitress was nice and I decided to go with the brunch. Bad idea. My daughter went with a classic breakfast, her hashbrowns looked like a pile of hay on her plate. They were overcooked and dried out. Her toast was not toasted. I had the oyster rockfeller terrible too. The bread crumbs were not even cooked properly on top and the oysters and they were cold and raw. I could taste like artichoke hearts as if it were stuffed with spinach artichoke dip. I sent them back to be cooked some more and it still wasn't right. She brought my daughter some house potatoes in exchange for hashbrowns and they were dried out and reheated. I ordered lobster gravy over biscuit and this wasn't awful just not good. The waitress was nice enough to take the oysters off my bill because they were not browned the second time around. I should have just tried the lobster rolls. The food used to be pretty good if I can remember. But I don't have to return here.
