We ordered the full breakfast smorgasbord for about 15 people and they went above and beyond. Food was ready on time, piping hot, and everything tasted delicious. They even went as far as to put all the dishes in family style serving trays and supplied all of the condiments. My granddaughter and I got doordash from this restaurant. I wanted to start my review with that information because I think our experience would have been different had we actually ate in. My granddaughter enjoyed her pancakes. I ordered the Western omelette and it was decent. I was not a fan of the hash browns. The food was still warm when in a ride so I don't think it's that they had gotten cold on the way over. We live right down the street. They were bland and undercooked. As we got takeout. They have great coneys and I was pumped to make it back. The place was GROSS this time. I sat near the entrance by a window and there were multiple dead flies, junk on the floor, sticky tables, and grime all over. Not good. The waitress we had was very nice but she was either bad at her job or strung out on something. So I ordered carryout and picked up in drive thru window signed for order which was $23.59 for 2 chicken strip dinners for the kids .didn't think anything of it the next morning I get a update on my Venmo which was $6 higher than what I thought I was paying . Seems someone at Zorba's decided to change my receipt because they thought it was a 6 not a zero so they took it up on themselves to add themselves a $6.00 tip . So I called when I found out about and manager said to text her , she would look into it ,she text me back and sent me a copy of my receipt which you can clearly see is altered with 2 different colored inks but she says is that your signature ?? The Coney sauce was pretty good, maybe best I've had besides Lafayette but the chili was put on so sloppy I couldn't pick it up to eat it, had to use knife and fork. The loose meat was ok, not a big fan of the seasoning they used, but it wasn't bad. The chili cheese fries were good, the fries were actually cooked long enough to hold up to the chili and cheese. Nothing like coming here between the hours of 1-5am and stuffing your face til you can't anymore lol. Took some pics of the menu because I noticed there weren't any on here. Only been here twice so far but servers have always been really sweet and attentive and food comes out hot and delicious. The cook does an amazing job (and he's usually by himself as far as I know!!) Service was great I loved our waitress and even the other people in the restaurant were friendly and sociable. I ordered a breakfast combo with French toast, eggs and bacon. The bacon came overly cooked, borderline burnt which I was unhappy about. But the French toast and eggs were tasty. Soon after eating here I experienced the worst food poisoning ever. Oh Zorba's. If you live downriver, you know what Zorba's is, you've been there drunk at 2:30 am, or maybe for a hangover-cure in the morning. I used to go here literally all the time. It is a coney island, and as far as coney islands go, this is a 4 star coney joint. Service is super friendly (most of the time), you're always sweetie or honey there. They do have a drive through window and do takeout, so if you work midnights this is a great place to get lunch from. Food... Well, the coney dogs are good, slathered in chili. Fries are good, I always ask for my extra crispy. Chili cheese fries are great. They have good soups too, but they take them off the burners early so if you stop in at 1 or 2 am don't expect to get soup. They still have chili then though. Speaking of the chili, you can literally buy the chili in frozen blocks. They have an awesome grilled chicken salad. Greek salad is also delicious. Breakfast...breakfast is amazing. Hash browns are my favorite of anywhere, bacon is awesome (Again I ask for this extra crispy too). The burgers are also pretty awesome. Pretty much anything you get from Zorba's is guaranteed to be good. They don't do desserts, they only have rice pudding for dessert. And it's genuine coney island prices.
