Matcha muchacha series! This hidden gem is tucked away in the American eat. Co! Psa, they are open at 7! The girl working there did an amazing job with making my drink! It was beautiful, tasty as well as huge! I got the iced matcha horchata with a shot of espresso. It's one of the best drinks I've had so far! Go check them out!

Update... I had a Cubano latte here. Talk about yummy coffee with some flavor. They use half and half and ask if that's OK and they also put brown sugar in the coffee. It cost a little more than the regular latte about a dollar more, but it is so worth having the flavor. I just love having a coffee that actually tastes like a coffee. The gal that was working the counter was incredibly nice too! We sat out on the patio which was very nice and it was just the two of us so that was good. Come here for a nice, relaxing, indoor or outdoor experience. You won't regret having some coffee with flavor in it!

Café con Leche is inside the American Eats Company, which is a whole separate review. This is a small coffee and boba shop that has been with them since they first opened and they've had different offerings over the years. It remains small and limited, but with some very tasty options. There are dairy free options (including, if I remember correctly, house made oat milk). This is nice because those of us who cannot have dairy have some great options. The prices are very reasonable and the taste is very fresh-no burnt tasting coffee so far here! I have not been disappointed with any of their offerings yet-to include their Mexican Mocha, Horchata Latte, Mazpan latte, London Fog Tea (tasty with their oat milk), and their Matcha Latte. There's always a wonderful place to sit in my opinion, (cozy overstuffed couches nearby, traditional dining room sitting) but remember there is a separate bar and other dining establishments nearby so it can be noisy. They also aren't open very late (approx 8 pm is closing). Outside of that they offer great drinks and friendly service for a great price

First timer and all I wanna say is, BEST. HORCHATA. LATTE. Hands down. Two simple ingredients, homemade horchata and 2 shots of expresso (for a medium). I can't believe I've never discovered this place sooner. Prices are decent and it's located inside of American Eat Co. with plenty of seatings to chill and hang out. Definitely will be coming back for more of this delicious latte.

Didn't order food but would go again based off customer service alone. I got a vanilla iced frappe which was really good.

I visited with a friend on Sunday. The employee was so sweet and polite. She made suggestions, explained the drinks and her preferences. We ordered a lechera latte, hot and cold, and an iced chai. Next time, I'll consider some ice cream or pastries as well. I loved my drinks. They were flavorful! I thought prices were reasonable, too. I've already invited friends and am considering a hosting a work event here.

Best horchata latte I have ever had! They blend their own horchata. I was helped by the sweetest Samantha, amazing service and cute vibe.

Nice finish to and dinner, especially in the summer heat. It's equally fun just to watch them make their swirl milkshake creations. We ordered the churro swirl but they were out of churros since it's the most popular. We also ordered a confetti rainbow and a chunky chocolate swirl shake. I believe the base ice cream is good ol Thifty ice cream. Lots of calories but refreshing in the heat. Yum yum!

Was craving coffee and stumbled upon this hip hangout spot! Located inside the American Eat Co., Cafe Con Leche is a great spot to finish off dinner with a sweet treat such as pastry with coffee or a swirl milkshake! A great way to beat the heat in Tucson! The barista working the stand when we stopped by was lovely! She was friendly and gave us awesome recommendations. I love that they had Mexican-inspired flavors! The fiancé and I ended up getting the iced Horchata Latte and the Mexican Mocha. My Horchata was good; cinnamon-y and very creamy! The Mexican Mocha was good too. Although the flavors were dreamy, I would say that the prices are pretty high for coffee. Still, I'd come back to enjoy other flavors or milkshakes as dessert.

We so rarely encounter attitude in Tucson, that our experience at your coffee shop on Saturday…read morereally took us aback. All 4 of us have extensive experience in the hospitality industry and appreciate the stresses. Since we are unfailingly friendly customers, as so many servers are, & because there were only 6 other customers at your coffee shop at the time, sharing our experience is warranted. We visited the Main Gate shop just after noon on Saturday, 4/18. The barista was wearing a cap & O'Neill-branded t-shirt; he has a salt & pepper beard. Requesting my cappuccino in a ceramic cup, he stated, with obvious exasperation, "You can just say 'for here'." He was also visibly irritated when we requested 3 Dirty Chais of various sizes & shot strength, as if this request was overly complicated. We would have ordered food, but he was so unwelcoming we did not. Nor did we linger. We have visited this location other times and have only been treated warmly. Clearly this barista does not represent the customer service your employees normally provide. You can train people to make a good coffee. Training them to be pleasant is more complicated & best documented. Hence, this review. An unpleasant experience like this has no place in Tucson. It's not who we are & it's not who you are either, I know. We hope this gentleman finds another line of work soon

The line was the usual long line and with my dog, was much better as people talk and pet dogs in line and it went fairly fast. The line was in shade with the nearby tree so it made it that much better. The ambiance is the misters around that are welcomed by all, the pretty tree and greenery and fencing and signage they have used to decorate this small outdoor place so well. The shaded and covered tables outside had various chairs and enough space for people to rotate in and out- esp with our dogs that love the cool brick to lie on:) Now, the absolute best part is the food- still amazingly worth waiting for and delicious!! I got the burrito( basic has potato, egg, beans , cheese) and the protein I added was bacon and extra was guac. Also got the 16oz Dirty Chai. My friend came for first time and was surprised to open her order and find two burritos- I knew and wanted to see her face- she loved the taste and the fact she had lunch or dinner later as one truly is so full of deliciousness- it fills you up! We each had one we took home ! This place- just a treat for anyone wanting fantastic and pure local service and food! Highly recommend!!!

There is a 5 inch step to get into the shop for wheel chair users to consider. But evidently they have a side entrance ramp to help out. After that there are ramps to the rest of the shop including to the restroom. It has a beautiful look with beamed ceilings and a large coffee bar. The walks are old red brick that is very cool, "warehouse looking". I was able to charge my phone sitting at a perimeter bar. They have one outside table for two but inside have bars, tables, couches and high tops. I ordered an iced Americano with cold foam and a chocolate chunk cookie. Both were good. There was not much selection of baked items when I was there in the afternoon. There are two unmarked restrooms so just pick one I guess. The workers were helpful but did not wish to be included in the review. The company promotes they are community owned. As I understand this they are incorporated and selling shares to the public. On a different scale Tesla is community owned because it sells shares to the world. Cartel sold the shares through crowdfunding rather than traditional IPO so you won't find it on NYSE and it would be less liquid in my opinion. This makes it more "community " I suppose. I'll pass on "ownership" but I think this is a good place to grab a coffee.
