Tucked in a corner behind the Medano beach resorts, this is a find. Coffee? Si! Breakfast American? Si! Breakfast mexican? Also yes! I went breakfast burrito and was very happy. Good sausage, eggs snd cheese wrapped in a super fresh tortilla with a very decent hot salsa. Maybe the most friendly folks I've come across, but everyone here is great! Perfect CoVid protection and just a great spot!!!!
Great selection of coffee drinks. Get the Bombini coffee. I've never seen my mom finish a drink so fast! She must not have liked it. Im not a coffee drinker, but I got black coffee with cinnamon and molasses. I didn't think I would like it, but it was very smooth and not bitter at all. I put some cream in it, but really, it was not necessary. We had Lalito's enchilada's and a parfait for breakfast. Keeping it light cause of the bathing suits, ya know what I mean? Both dishes were yummy and quite filling. All the staff are really welcoming and helpful. They explained anything we didn't understand on the menu. I would go again if we had enough time. When you first arrive, it feels like a casual backstreet restaurant, and that's what it is. It's clean and airy and has a nice, casual ambiance.
If I could give it more stars, I would! We went to The Office to get some breakfast but left because it is not the same welcoming place anymore. Thank goodness we found Café de Ciudad. Immediately, the vibes were better and the food *chef's kiss* the service was warm and friendly, felt like we were regulars. These are the places I look for when in Cabo- "holes in the wall" with good authentic food and reasonable prices. Support the local businesses and give them a try, you won't be disappointed.
How have I not posted a review of this place yet? Has this been sitting in my drafts for a full year now? Well, the reviews are true: this is honestly one of the best places to eat in Cabo. It's a bit off the beaten path (at least when we went), but worth the small walk even in the heat. Promise. Fruit is fresh, drinks are unbelievable, and food is delicious. Prices are insane- it's so cheap, and we have no idea how or why! But no complaints here. If you are ever in Cabo, make this a must stop destination. You will not regret it. Everything on the menu is worth trying.
I don't even know where to start. This cafe is AMAZING! My friends and I went here for breakfast two days in a row and let me tell you, I would go there everyday if I could. Service was a 5/5. Everyone was so nice and understanding. We got a table immediately and was helped right as we sat down. Every worker checked up on us and we never had to call for anyone. Food was a 10/5. Seriously. We got the Mexican breakfast and holy cow.... I'm speechless. The BEST chilaquiles I've ever had in my entire life. So so so so delicious. I got the American breakfast once (I know, why did I do this) and even that was still super good. Drinks were a 5/5. From the coffee to smoothie to juice, everything was soooo good and fresh! I ordered a vanilla latte and I kid you not, it was probably the best latte I've ever had. I have no bad things to say about this gem. Please go here!!!!
This is a cute, touristy coffeehouse near the marina. It's brightly painted and the friendly staff are bilingual. The food is healthy and the vibes are basically great. The cons are that it's very small and loud. My son with autism had to put earplugs in as we were seated adjacent to industrial blenders crunching lots of ice. There is also an external bar that directly overlooks the table we were seated at. A few minutes after we sat down, a sniffling, unmasked patron plopped down at the bar (a mere 18 inches from me and my breakfast). It made it hard to enjoy the experience given that we are still in a pandemic and currently the omicron surge is taking the world by storm. I think it's a poor layout. Avoid being seated at that table.
I'm sitting here during Covid19 and reminiscing about the good old days of leaving the house, popping on a plane and visiting places like this little gem of a restaurant. First of all it was a little bit of a hike to find, but what an adventure once we found this restaurant. Yes, its a small place, However the food, drinks and view were all breathtaking!!!! The best coffee with sincere service. Because it was on my yelp bucket list, I had to stop and try the coffee and now it will forever live in my memory and yelps memory as the best coffee spots in Mexico. Not only was the coffee great, but the service was so friendly.

This was my favorite spot for breakfast during our vacation. Really cute and cozy cafe pretty close to Medano Beach. I got the Mexican Breakfast (Your choice of meat- I got chorizo, chillaquilles, and scrambled eggs); it was SOOOOO GOOD! It was the perfect portions and it was really flavorful. I also got their cafe de olla which was delicious. I would recommend eating here especially right before hitting the beach. read more
The space is small but the staff was able to seat my party down and combine tables early for breakfast. They also ensured to answer any questions or curiosities about the items off the menu which I appreciate! Avocado Smoothie (5/5) - Thick and not overly sweetened. They give a lot more than the fruit smoothies and I asked for a to go cup to take the rest with me. Mexican Breakfast (3.5/5) - Got it with chorizo and it comes with red sauce and a fried egg. The portion was fair and was filling, however, it was overall average! Matthew's Breakfast Sandwich (4/5) - Open-faced toast and is filling as well with potatoes. Comes with bacon, eggs, chicken and melted cheese on top. This was really good with hot sauce! Overall, Café de Ciudad is somewhere I would go to avoid a wait. It might not be the most aesthetic, but if you're looking for a brunch to get you going, this is a solid spot. read more

Nice little café with Mexican style breakfast. A little pricier than the other café next-door but well worth the visit. I really enjoyed the enfrijoladas. Your coffee is on the sweeter side so I was suggest no sugar if you don't like super sweet drinks. Service was fast and friendly. read more

Found this place on Yelp on the way to the beach and thought we would try it out. Sad they didn't have any signs or notices that they only accept cash. I ordered the carrusel breakfast which came with a lot of items mostly pretty good. Also ordered the Mexican hot chocolate which was very watered down. Sad that I couldn't find a good place to get Mexican hot chocolate in Cabo, in Cancun it was so thick and yummy at every place we tried. Their breakfast burrito was also quite good, it had plenty of eggs and had nice smokey bacon inside. For sure will come back when in Cabo. read more

The best espresso in Cabo Saint Lucas! It's a family owned restaurant and you must come here for breakfast! Their prices are very very reasonable and their food is extremely cheap we priced for the quality of the food that you will get here. I would give this place five out of five stars. 100% A+ It can't get any better local authenticity and realistic prices! A little known fact for Americans in Cabo if it is hot here drink hot coffee/Espresso in the morning and it will even out your temperature and you won't feel as hot outside anymore!! We went here two times during our trip and both times had Jessica as our server! We had such a wonderful experience at this small family run business. Jessica was super attentive and even took time out to talk to my elderly father on a facetime call! We exchanged stories regarding our parents. The food was deliciously prepared and each day they have different homemade pastries. The cheese buns were to die for and the apple struedel was also amazing! They also offered an array of smoothies and wonderful coffee drinks. We tried the breakfast carousel which is perfect for an undecided person as it is a little bit of everything. Gramma's latte was awesome! Definitely worth the hype and the trip. read more
I am surprised by all the 5-star ratings. Our meal was good, but not 5-star good. We found this place off Yelp and walked over from Terrasol Beach Resort (which is an amazing place to stay). About a 30 minute walk. Location was easy to find - a bit of a hole in the wall- you won't have great ocean views, but you will receive excellent service. I ordered the breakfast burrito, add chorizo, (I know, how original) and my wife ordered a Mexican egg plate with a fancy name. The burrito was perfect size. I hate getting HUGE burritos that make me over eat or waste food. However, the chorizo inside was minimal and the bacon did not exist. My wife's Mexican egg dish was basically scrambled eggs w cheese on 3 tortillas. Perfect portion sizes. But nothing special. The service was excellent, location was good, everything was super clean---we just felt the food was average. The chilaquiles looked good, and wished I had ordered it instead. Maybe we will give it another try in the future. read more

After reading reviews and finding out-we were just down the street we took a walk to visit! Absolute great food at a great price with exceptional service. Its a little hole on wall On the corner and the food is excellent. I only had the fruit cup but hubby had the chilaquiles and he brought a ham torta for later which was very good. A must try!! Don't drive past this place because the street view definitely does not do this place justice. It's a small family owned gem. Service is great and the food is delicious authentic breakfast food. It was a great find since we were over the over priced boring food at the resort we were staying at. We came here 2/4 of the days we were in Cabo. Both times I got the Chilequiles, both the red and green sauce are great. I recommend getting it with the Mexican breakfast with the beef option. Ummm ummm you won't be disappointed. The smoothies are great when it's warm out because they're made Out of fresh fruit and ice with no additional sugar added. My husband said the American breakfast was good, pancakes were nice and fluffy. Overall great find. Will definitely come back again. read more
I'm back again to my favorite coffee and breakfast place in Cabo San Lucas! Always great service continues! Delicious food and my kind of mom and pop restaurant! I previously was hesitant to give it great reviews, but I can't help myself. Besides I want it to stay in business -- the restaurant is full so no worries about that! Mexican breakfast. Is really good, but the capachino is the best!!!! So glad to be back. Go Ciudad!!! read more

I can't speak enough about this place and the incredible service. I have not been treated this well at any of the high end restaurants I've gone too. Guillermo is amazing along with the rest of the Team! A must when you are in Cabo. No puedo hablar lo suficiente sobre este lugar y el increíble servicio. This is definitely the best breakfast spot in Cabo. We ate here 4 out of the 8 days we were in town. Service, flavor, and affordability were all superb! For about $10 USD, you can get the carousel, which has a little bit of everything they offer. Chilequiles, pancakes, chorizo burrito, eggs, and a few other tasty items. I also really enjoyed the cafe de olla, which was a hot coffee with cinnamon. My kids really liked their fresh fruit smoothies. Other items on their menu included omelettes, fresh fruit, yogurt and granola. They even had the option for egg whites and veggies for those wanting a lighter breakfast. The cafe is small, but accommodating. They were able to seat our large group of 10 people, without much issue. The servers were so friendly and helpful and all food was made to order. Absolutely delicious! I highly recommend this place. read more

An earnest restaurant in close distance to a spectacular view of the Arch. This cute and quaint restaurant offers a big taste! We enjoyed all of our dishes, from chilequiles to chocolate to shrimp. I highly recommend for breakfast and lunch. read more
Nice place to grab breakfast before heading to the beach. The food isn't heavy so you'll be set to swim after 30 minutes with no issues. Real score of this place is a 3.5! WARNING: Due to the pandemic they have nearly doubled their prices. However, as an American tourist it's still fairly cheap to us, so help them out ! It's good food and great service. The only issue I had was a hair found in the food. We didn't complain so I'm not including it as part of the score . We didn't give them a chance to fix it. Which I believe you should always do. Overall if your staying nearby , go for it. It's relaxing and good but you can find better food if you drive a couple minutes. Can't beat the price they offer even when doubled. Enjoy read more

We're on vacation and Oh my goodness!!! The food here was delicious!!! Starting off with the pico de gallo and chips, they were to die for! And we also ordered a side of refried beans with the chips and that was delicious. My boyfriend and I got a strawberry smoothie and that was very good and fresh! And to eat I got the Mexican breakfast with chilaquiles with beef and it was ahhhhmazing! Our waitress Jessica was very attentive and sweet! Along with the entire staff We will definitely be back for breakfast!! read more

Fernando and his family made us feel so at home each time we saw them. If you want true mexican hospitality, and amazing food i would highly recommend. If everyone ran their business with such passion, the world would be a better place. I feel seriously blessed to have this time, to meet new friends and feel truly happy.
