I was telling him about the restaurant I used to go to and he said, "Yes! Marotta's! I owned it" Well, my excitement waiting for this eggplant grew. It was delicious. It was made with thin crispy breaded eggplant! It was layered with mozzarella, roasted red peppers, shaved Parmesan, marinara and finished off with a balsamic glaze. It has a pesto usually which I declined. The flavors were amazing and the marinara was perfect! The only suggestion is I prefer it a little saucier. Just my preference. My fiancé said his bowl with chicken and fettuccine Alfredo and vegetables was very good. The chicken was delicious and the vegetables were very fresh. He said the Alfredo sauce was not as rich tasting as he would like and the roasted corn be blackened a little. Both of us had plenty to take home for a second meal and will be heading back to try one of the salad bowls! The place is modern and very clean!
