We had a fine breakfast here while visiting from out of town. We ordered French toast and an omelette. The French toast was just ok - the bread had not been soaked long enough in the egg batter, so it tasted a bit more like pan fried white bread (the middle was totally white and dry) than good French toast. The omelette was good, according to my husband. It was served with a side of toast with homemade strawberry jam, which was the highlight of the meal. We eat at Cafe 106 every time we visit Ludington. We love this place for breakfast due to the quality, quantity and fantastic service. The waitress treated our family with such a positive and welcoming attitude that it's a place you want to come back to. They went overboard to ensure the gluten free diner in our group had some options and enough to eat. We'll be back for sure and I hope they're open for a long time to come. read more

Great local place. Small (fits less than 50?). Offers healthy options, breakfast choices, and great sandwiches. Got the House burger and it was really good. However, no French Fries, so if you want fries, you aren't going to get it. Don't let that deter you! read more

Nice casual dinner type food. A separate healthy option menu which is nice. Interesting menu. I had the red velvet pancakes. Pretty sweet but what would you expect with red velvet pancakes? A fun choice. Good coffee. The corn beef hash was a win for my husband. Give this place a try. read more

Prompt, friendly and personable staff. Rhonda waited on us and she did a great job keeping an eye on us and our needs. The food was delicious. Stopped here on vacation. The first thing I noticed when I walked in was a table full of older men. Always a good sign that it is a local hangout. They have a separate healthy menu which I appreciated. I had the health breakfast w cottage cheese and no turkey. I really wanted the bananas fosters pancake. Sounds yummy! My BF had the basic pancake breakfast. Everything was good. We had a little frustration that he couldn't sub cinnamon roll pancakes. We offered to pay more but they said it wasn't possible. Came here for breakfast, my food was delicious and hot. My husband ordered 3 eggs over medium which can be hard to make just right, they were runny and he only got 2 eggs. The waitress did offer to get him another one but you expect at least the right amount of eggs ordered. Other than that it's a pretty decent place. read more

My must go to breakfast spot when in Ludington. I CRAVE their turkey, avocado, bacon benedict when I know I am going to Ludington for vacation. They have several other benedict options as well. Their hollandaise sauce is made fresh. Eggs are always poached right. Their menu offers sooooo many other good and healthy options as well as the standard American morning favorites. read more

grabbed a quick and delicious breakfast before the ferry. Food was great--I was able to get a small breakfast. egg was great, strawberry jam was house made and utterly delicious. The French toast was great too-cones in half oder of 4 pieces, which was substantial on its own! Service was great. A group of us visited or was it more like invaded this little diner Sunday morning. By group I mean 24 bikers out for a ride and needed some breakfast. My wife stuck her head in the door and asked the waitress if she could accommodate us. She said with a smile I'm the only one here but I will do my best. We were not in a hurry so we went in and sat down. I am guessing a call for help was made and in a matter of minuets 2 more wait staff and cooks came thru the door. They managed to feed us and a few other customers in short order and the food was great. Thank you to the staff for a wonderful experience and a great start to the day. read more

This was our second visit to Cafe 106 in two years, both times for breakfast. Service has been excellent both visits. Food I think was even a little better this year. Last year I had hash browns that were a little too greasy. Home fries I had this time were perfectly browned and tasty. Wife had scrumptious pumpkin pancakes. I had "Sausage Benedict", basically biscuits and gravy with two poached eggs. It was excellent and portion was so generous I could not finish it! I like that they leave a full carafe of coffee at your table, so that you never have to wait for staff to notice your cup needs warming! This is a good little breakfast spot. read more

Had a great experience here, we recently visited Ludington for several days and after dining at a couple local restaurants we were so disappointed and leery of any of the restaurants in the city. We ate at Jamesport Brewery and Old Hamlin, both of which I was completely dissatisfied with. We came to Cafe 106 for breakfast and we were so happy with our service. The server, Mari, (per receipt) was great and very friendly and down to earth. The food was a tad expensive but right on par with other local restaurants. The food was also very good, we were going to go back to this restaurant for other meals but felt like we should continue to try other things. Would highly recommend anyone come here and support this little gem in the city. Thank you for giving us great service and great food during our stay!! :) read more

We came upon this place by accident after being told of a long kitchen wait at another Ludington eatery. This was the best thing to happen that day. Warm, homey atmosphere. Extremely friendly staff made us feel right at home. The turkey rolled sandwich was generous and very tasty. The hamburger was thoroughly enjoyed by my daughter as one of the best she has ever eaten. Granddaughter had mac and cheese that disappeared very quickly. Great place to relax and ENJOY your meal. read more

Red Pepper and Crab Bisque was very good, as was the Chicken Salad Melt on Rye. Decor is basic "hole in the wall", but it is clean and friendly. Seems like a solid breakfast and lunch spot. read more

If you're a vegetarian forget it. They took the turkey off my sandwich wrap but didn't add any extra lettuce, tomato or avacado. As a matter of fact avacado was pretty non existent. Acted like they never heard of a vegetarian before. read more
