The fried rice was well-balanced in soy sauce flavor and not overwhelmingly oily or salty. Chicken pieces were coated in a thin batter and tender. As for the prawns, they were crispy and lightly coated in dressing so it was not too sweet or heavy. One of the nicer Microsoft cafeterias that I have visited, and would be inclined to return to try the other stations. Any percentage they charge will get deducted from tipping and discourage us from coming again. 2. They no longer validate parking in the garage behind it since several years ago. Street parking is limited and painful sometimes. 3. They exited Resy network a few years ago - that was one of the reasons we kept coming. 4. The food is still good but the quality is declining. The "+add brisket" option which costs $10 on top of the Mac and Cheese was the driest I've had in many years. They also removed menu items like duck chicken liver mouse which were really good.

This eatery is located next to Zoka in the Dawson building. Walk further down the hall until you see the entrance to this cafeteria. Typically you will find a line at the entrance. This is not the line to enter, but rather the line to order a salad which is arguably the most popular option. If you want a soup or hot meal, walk past this line to head inside. I have only gotten the hot meals here and I found them to be average in every way. Price, portion and taste. I feel like I get shortchanged buying the hot meals here since it only includes the entree and a side like rice or beans so the takeout box feels a little light. If you want veggies, you have to pay more for that. Given that there are so many options in SLU including food trucks and restaurants, eating here is purely out of convenience. The cafeteria is a half block away from where I work so it is a nearby option when I don't have a lot of time to eat. Otherwise I would usually opt for a food truck instead. It is a nice place to dine with co-workers since the dining room is quite large.
