I ordered the Veggie and Hummus Sandwich. Based on my current body condition, I couldn't eat anything cold, so I confirmed with the counter that this dish was not cold before ordering. However, after I paid for the order, they told me the hummus was frozen, so I had to choose an alternative option, and I went with avocado instead. There were free water bottles on the tables for self-service; you just needed to ask for a cup at the counter. We had to bus our own table by putting the finished plates onto the trays. That being said, I have been there about 15 times and have never had an issue finding a seat. It is always very clean and feels very open. It is a nice environment to be in.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] You can order from the deli case (which sells out pretty quickly since everything in there is so delicious) or from their menu to have made-for-you food made. From the deli case, I have had the chicken, potato salad, chicken salad and a few other items that I am forgetting. They all have a different flare than any traditional deli case and are incredible! So much so, that I ALWAYS end up ordering a 2nd time so I can take some to-go for later. You WILL be craving it later. I have ordered a few of their sandwiches and their breakfast sandwich. They are all full of flavor, although they are fairly small. For example (see photo), I ordered the breakfast sandwhich for $14 but had to go order another one after I ate it since I was still hungry. The bread is thin so it doesn't fill you up as much as most sandwhiches, and doesn't come with a side included with the meal (and I didn't want to spend more money for a side since I was already paying $14 for it). I finally got to try Cafe Organique for the first time. I live nearby but because I work in Seattle, I haven't had the opportunity to try it out. They are only open weekdays and closed by 3pm. I love the concept of this cafe - the focus being on healthy, nutritious foods. I tried the turkey meatloaf special (Mondays). The meatloaf tasted good (not the best I have ever had but probably healthier). The portion size was perfect with the salad and the rice. The rice was flavorful (lots of dill I think), chewy (in a good way) and unique! They also have ready to go deli items. While I won't be able to go often because of my work situation, I definitely think it's worth trying out this place. Limited seating inside and outside. There are specials everyday. My husband and I stopped by Cafe Organique earlier today to get a take-out order. I had the Roasted Chicken Sandwich and the Persian Potato Salad. I also had the Super Detoxifier Juice and the Matcha Honey Hot Tea with Oat Milk. Everything was very flavorful. The sandwich tasted very slightly spicy, in the best way possible. The potato salad had wonderful depth and complexity of flavor for such a simple side dish. The juice tasted very fresh. The Matcha tasted slightly bitter, and I thought that pairing it with the sweet honey was a great idea - very complimentary flavors. My husband surprisingly didn't order anything. He decided to scrounge up a lunch for himself when we got home. The lady on the phone was very nice to us when we placed our take-out order. She had a pleasant and cheerful vibe. Cute store front. 5 stars across the board - for both of my food choices, both of my drink choices, environment/curb appeal/cleanliness (even though we got take-out, we still notice these things), and customer service. Was in the area, so decided to try a highly rated restaurant like Cafe Organique. I was impressed with their customer service, speed, authenticity of ingredients, and reasonable prices. I also got a weight loss juice, which strangely contains chia seeds ( but hey if it works right?), and a gluten free orange cranberry zucchini muffin (which also tastes great). I would highly recommend this establishment to any gluten sensitive individuals and their family and friends. I popped in during my lunch break in hopes of picking up something quick and healthy to eat back at work. My initial thought when I saw the deli case was "yikes, slim pickings.." haha but I chose two salads that looked good to me - kale and yam, and beet. There's two sizes you can choose from, 8oz and 16oz, for $4 or $8. I got 8oz of the kale and yam salad and 8oz of beet salad. Both were pretty fresh and tasty! Loved the sweet yams with the kale, and the beet salad had walnuts and red onions in it - yums! You can't really go wrong with a salad made with all good ingredients. Also, though the portions looked "small," I almost didn't finish them bc I was already full, so the $6ish I spent (25% off for checking in!) on my meal was worth it! 4 stars for the delicious salads, good service and generous Yelp discount! There's sandwiches and a menu of juices/smoothies available too, but I think those would require a short wait. There's only one lady in the kitchen and an assistant. I'm going to have to give these guys 5 stars. Is it worth driving here from Seattle and going through a bi-directional surprise toll bridge? Nope. Is it pretty much one of the only restaurants in the greater Seattle area that a gluten intolerant person can eat at and enjoy? YES! This is a cafe, not a "restaurant". The food is pre-made and reheated if need be and the selection is sparse as when they run out, that's it that's all for the day. I really enjoyed everything I ordered here and it was pretty pricey but hey that's worth it to me since EVERYTHING in the store is gluten free :) They have a cute little patio in the back if you want to eat outside. PS- If you're coming here from Seattle, there is an electronic only cashless toll bridge (bi-directional) that is NOT worth the hassle if you don't have the device setup. Such a hidden gem! Been going here for a while and love having it close by in our neighborhood. Everything is organic, farm to table, and gluten free. Jackie who bakes and runs the cafe is so sweet and makes the best stuff. Everything from the soups, daily specials, breakfast sandwich, smoothies, salad, and muffins are all worth trying! Concept is great. Farm to table, organic, and healthy. Sort of food we are trying to eat more of. However, the prices are a little high and I think they are limiting themselves with being only gluten-free. It is a tiny place so maybe they have to by necessity carry only gluten-free items. Cross-contamination is a big issue for people who actually do need a strict gluten-free diet. The reason why I bring up the gluten-free limitation is that there is little to choose from among breads here because of this. And often gluten-free bread is seriously lacking in terms of texture, flavor and sometimes nutritional value (rice flour isn't too healthy or fiber rich). That said, the brand of bread they carry here is among the better varieties and is made with very healthy ingredients. Unfortunately, the slices are tiny so the sandwiches made on them are also very very small and not worth the high price. Although they do come with a nice, fresh side salad. Aside from price and portion size, the roasted vegetable sandwich was tasty. I ordered a half portion of the kale and yam (very good) and also the vegetable patty. The price for the sides aren't too bad for quality ingredients and the vegetable patty (lentil based) was tasty. I don't think the sandwiches are worth it, but I can see myself coming back for the sides. The smoothies also looked delicious (expensive but no more so than Green E) and I may convince my kids to try one of those. read more

I had some Lemongrass Tarragon Chicken Salad & my mother had the Organic Vegetable Lasagna, we also shared a side of beets and some delicious filtered water, wow. I recently found out that they make smoothies here and since I'm a sucker for all things blended and cold I decided to drink my lunch today. It was surprising to see that it's a quaint space shared with a supplement store. I ordered the brain booster smoothie, you get to pick the type of milk and protein you want to add which was nice. The wait was short and I was excited when it was handed to me because it was a super pretty purple color and like I said, I love smoothies! But when I went to take a sip, it was warm... it never even developed sweat on the cup, it was so warm. Smoothies are supposed to be cold and this tasted like all the goodies in it were sitting out on the counter all day- including the milk. I'm sure it would have been quite enjoyable had it been cold but since it wasn't, it just tasted like a bland protein shake that you make with the shaker cups and tap water. The café is in an open-floor shared by the dispensary of the Comprehensive Medical Center, so there's a feeling of community with the Medical Center. Okay, yes it is very expensive and portions are small. With that said, their ingredients seem fresh and of great quality. I initially wanted a smoothie, but none of them really appealed to me so I got a chicken salad sandwich. It came with a small salad. The sandwich was really small, but in all honesty that is probably the size of sandwich we should be eating, but we're just used to eating ginormous foot long sandwiches I think. It filled me up surprisingly. I didn't much care for the GF bread as most GF bread has a weird consistency/flavor. The chicken salad was more celery than chicken but had a good flavor (lemon tarragon?). Overall the menu did not wow me, but they have some nice, healthy choices. Friendly staff. I will agree with other reviewers that the menu can seem pricey. However, for the quality, flavor and it all being fresh organic ingredients, I felt the value was very much equal to what we paid. I was a little disappointed to find they were out of the chicken tarragon salad as that was the reason we chose to stop here, but we somewhat quickly found substitutes. Their soup of the day was a Sausage Kale soup and when I asked what else was in it (I have some food sensitivities) they offered me a sample with a smile. I decided on a bowl of the soup, the wild rice kale salad, and 3oz of their roast chicken (it is sold by the ounce - this ended up being a perfect portion size). My husband spotted their turkey meatloaf in the case and for a slightly extra price, had them turn it into a sandwich. His meal was that 1/2 sandwich plus a bowl of the same soup I had. We both left perfectly satisfied and even slightly full (by not uncomfortably so) with the portion sizes we were given. The food was very flavorful and noticeably fresh. Really disappointed at the taste of the food, good concept but healthy food does not have to taste this bad. We ordered the breakfast sandwich, the frittata and a curry salad chicken sandwich. My breakfast sandwich was edible but very small and unfulfilling. My friend did not eat her frittata, she said it had no direction and vegetables that didn't complement each other. We shared the curry sandwich but it really just tasted like celery with yellow curry powder. They came with salads however the dressing tasted like it was just apple cider vinegar and mustard. The food is 'healthy' but doesn't taste good. I also tried the digestive aid juice and I had to chug it because I didn't want $9 to just go to waste, it was not tasty. What a great find! I have celiac disease and it's so frightening for me to go out to eat anymore that I usually just give up and cook everything at home. But I was so pleased to find an entirely gluten free cafe that seemed safe and healthy. I had the breakfast sandwich that came with a side salad and I also ordered some of the lemon tarragon salad. Everything was so fresh and tasty, and it was a much larger salad than I expected. I'm not sure why people are complaining about the size of the portions? To me, it was a normal sized sandwich you'd order at a deli. The two salads were also very generous. I could barely finish and I'm pregnant lol.
