Nice local joint! We enjoyed the breakfast platters with country ham and bacon. The scrambled eggs were fluffy and perfectly cooked. Went here after driving to Trenton 10 hrs, we were starved. Not familiar with the area. Cheyenne was our server she was very sweet. The place was a mess, the floor was splattered and so sticky. One of our party kept thinking he had something on his shoes, but it was just the floor. I ordered the Porkchop special as another did. Another had a burger, and another the meatloaf. The chops were tender, string beans were good, the mashed I think were instant, cause I had lots of powder substance. The meatloaf was way done. The burger was sad. Moved here in the fall and was excited to see a little southern grill ten minutes from my home. Hoping for good ol' country food but it was super low quality and flavor. Staff was slow too. But we waited over an hour for 1 sandwich and 1 burger... we watched all the tables around us finish eating and leave. We came by while in the area for lunch. It was quite busy with one waitress running a bit crazy. We ordered hamburger and fries, bacon cheeseburger and fries and a club sandwich and fries. The hamburgers were fair and the crinkle fries could have been cooked more. The club sandwich was pretty sad as looked like meat taken from pre cut packages from grocery. We sat for about 5 minutes without anyone assisting. We finally got our own menus so that we could be ready to order when the waitress came to our table. We sat another 10 minutes or so when another group came in and was immediately greeted and their drink order was taken. We thought we had gone unnoticed and requested drinks. Then they started taking the newest tables order before ours. We again requested service and our order was taken. Another three tables had sat by this time. We sat waiting for our food and all the other tables started having food delivered. Another waitress came out and said they had a problem with the tickets and ours had gotten lost and they needed to retake our order. We left. Terrible service and lack of good management. The waitress was beyond sweet, and didn't even bat an eye when I asked for Unsweet Tea, many of you know that unsweetened tea is sacrilegious in the South.
