This was my first time at the location and the food was amazing. I meant to take another picture of the inside, but after the first bike it was over. The area outside is extremely well kept and the inside is Just as clean. The service was immaculate, both gentlemen running the store Today were extremely attentive, friendly and accommodating. Super tasty Acai bowl! They use Acai roots which is delicious, but they have a good portion size. You can choose a good amount of fruits and toppings, but since I didn't get fruits, he gave me a discount. It seemed like they actually care about the customers having a good experience. It's not the fastest service, but it is prepared with care! Great choice.

Upon arrival I was greeted, I came around 8pm the gentleman at the register was very informative and patient with me since it was my first time here! I will say absolutely delicious and friendly service will be coming back for sure! He gave me a creme puff sample and chefs kiss absolutely delicious thank you!! I went to this place cause I saw they have kunefe the Turkisk dessert but they didn't have it when I was there. They told me to sold out fast . Açaí bowl is good. You can customize your bowl or choose the one they have. I love the one I ordered. I ordered mine without banana and I saw in the menu that there are blueberries but when I take home, I didn't see the blueberries. That's the reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5. If they run out, they should have let me know and I'm okay with it. Inside is nice, small. I like that they have the sand to do the Turkish coffee. So cool.

i've came here some times before and i've gotten the acai bowls and it's one of the few places i love getting acai bowls from. this time i was craving a crepe and i ordered the kinder nutella crepe, the crepe was stuffed generously and very delicious. the staff are very nice and willing to explain their menu if you have any questions. i also like how they offer seating inside and outside. overall whenever i'm in the area i definitely make an effort to come and enjoy a sweet treat :))

Had to try this place out it's a hidden gem. They have healthy açaí bowels and shakes, juices, and sweet crepes. The place is clean and cute vibe. Music was great and the service 5 stars.. I ordered the Nutella crepe which was made with strawberries and bananas. They even give you a small scoop of vanilla ice cream... Great size to share and price was very fair.This was the best crepe I have ever had .... A must have.. Check them out.

I mean, your menu is delicious but come on guys, you're making yourselves look bad when "hinting" for a 22% - 45% Tip. I posted this on my socials & people were shook & were laughing their eyeballs out. (Specially for it being a business that's not full service dine-in.) Love love love! This place is not only awesome--but they cater!!! My husband and I hired Cafe 88 for my baby shower in order to add a special touch to the dessert. The owner worked with us to create the perfect menu for our guests. Their team arrived prompt and set up their station. They served delicious, dressed up, fresh-made waffles along with ice cream to our guests and they were delicious! It was the perfect replacement to having just a generic cake at an event. Cafe 88 arrived with all the fixings and went above and beyond to meet the needs of my guests. They were sweet, very clean and best of all--Covid friendly! My mom and i wanted acai yesterday and had called the store around 6:45 to place an order for pick up but whoever picked up had told us they weren't taking any order past 7pm . There hours state they close at 10 so we were confused as to why they weren't taking any orders past that time. The person gave no reason and even said if were to come into the store past 7 that they werent going to take our order. not sure who was working 3/30/24 around that time but its ridiculous to give no explanation as to why you're not taking orders past a certain time when it says your open. Very rude and unprofessional read more

Today I visited this place and let me tell you it was amazing. The owner happened to be there and he's a very kind down to earth person. Before the owner got there the two girls there had amazing customer service and the food is delicious. We ordered an açaí smoothie and some dessert and it was to die for! Best place in all of San Diego for dessert. It's close to home and you will catch me here at least 3 times a week. Everything I've tried on the menu so far has always been delicious. My go to is the pistachio milkshake with no whipped cream! It's delicious. They use quality products and a lot of items are organic. All the workers are fast paced, friendly and hard working. The owner is always very welcoming and greets us. I love supporting business with good customer service. The Nutella burrito is fire! Also you must try the Lotus cream puffs! Açaí bowls are very good if you want something healthy. The vahalla smoothie is really good too on a hot day. Check this place out if you're in the east county. It's a hidden gem! read more

Ordered the Wild Bowl on Uber Eats and the food quality was good, but it was SUPER disappointing because the bowl was one third EMPTY. The açaí was half air, didn't fill the container and then just stacked the toppings over it. This bs really pissed me off and I'm hangry so I am unlikely to ever eat here again. Can't believe I had to pay crazy delivery mark up price and ALL the fees for a bowl full of so much empty space. Despicable. read more

It was our first time to try out this Cafe coming from San Diego. Despite a really busy night and big rush the owner (we're assuming) still treated us warmly and enthusiastically. He gave my group a free treat for the wait we did during their big rush. Overall a really good first experience with this place. Customer service is bad and unprofessional. You call to order something ahead of time because you know it is going to take FOREVERRRRR for your stuff to be ready. Once you get there they don't know why you are there and do not have your order anywhere. The owner of this place really needs to do something. read more

This review is specifically for the Açaí bowl, which was not good. The staff was super friendly and the prices are fair. The açaí bowl unfortunately was not good :/ they put way too much honey in the bowl and it clumps into the cold açaí so you chew into a honey ball. The açaí it's self isn't good, and the fruits were mediocre. Some had flavor and some pieces didn't. I only have it 3 star bc the staff was so good. read more

The produce department looks nice and vibrant, with organics available. The bulk department is great for nuts, trail mix, dried fruits, chocolate and snacks. I picked up some Sovereign Silver Colloidal Silver spray, dermae moisturizer and day cream and Burt's Bee BB cream. We also picked up some cottage cheese and nuts.

I told her this will be the last time I come and she is losing a customer over 29 points. SHE COULD CARE LESS. Her response to this was "I went in the back to do research". Beware! I tried the nutella kinder crepe. I honestly didn't like the chocolate topping. I thought it was too sweet to my liking. The crepe itself and the fresh fruits inside tasted amazing, it's just the chocolate sauce on top that I didn't like. I also hoped to see drizzles of nutella sauce on top instead of the milk chocolate. I would only suggest that you add nutella sauce ( not a lot) on top and not the milk chocolate. The cashier gave me an oreo shake sample. I did like it but I feel like if you add more crushed oreo cookies and 1 teaspoon or maybe a tablespoon of black cocoa powder (on amazon), it will enhance that cookies and cream flavor cause I could barely taste any in the sample. The service was slow and inattentive--even though the place wasn't busy, I waited nearly 20 minutes just to place an order. When the food finally arrived, it was lukewarm and bland, definitely not worth the price. The coffee tasted burnt, and the staff seemed more interested in chatting among themselves than helping customers. I expected a cozy, welcoming vibe but left feeling frustrated and unwelcome. Before Cafe 88 was established, I would buy my açaí bowls from another place which are nothing compared to the best açaí bowls I've ever had from Cafe 88. Service is very slow. Even if you order ahead they won't make your food until you get there. There were three people working only one was making the bowls one at a time while the other two were cleaning... the place is clean no doubt about that, but will that matter if costumers stop coming in? The customer service is really good and the workers are super friendly, they ask if the food was good and they are not rude.
