This has to be my favorite grocery stores. They have everything you need which is all health conscious. Well, almost all health conscious, but those tempting bakery goods you see or even the chocolate bars of all kinds. But, they have something for everyone. I love how they are focused on offering Organic, Non-GMO, and health-based alternatives and supplements to their shoppers. I bought one of my favorite protein on-the-go and delicious heavy-duty packets where all you do is buy some milk and pour into the packet and shake vigorously, and you are on your way. It's protein packed with low sugar and carbs with yummy flavors to choose from. My favored is the chocolate, but apparently that is everyone's favorite as they did not have available. They only offered the Cookies and Crème which I selected today, and they also had Strawberries and Crème. I have to walk in and stick to my list or I can be easily sidetracked here and majorly tempted with so many flavor-packed foods they offer . I also was impressed because they have a Smoothie Bar which is situated right next to the Deli for all the Smoothie lovers. The also sell adorable gifts anytime you need that. And, of course beautiful bouquets of mixed flowers. As I said, they have it all! I am leaving happy and satisfies as usual! read more

We stopped by this Sprouts on our way to the Sycuan Casino Resort for some items in the Vitamin Department. Peggy was very helpful in my search for BB cream, which there's less options from what used to be available years ago. Great customer service. This store looks open and clean. You need a code for the bathroom, which is in the vitamin department. As soon as you walk in, there's a beautiful flower/plant display. The produce department looks nice and vibrant, with organics available. The bulk department is great for nuts, trail mix, dried fruits, chocolate and snacks. I picked up some Sovereign Silver Colloidal Silver spray, dermae moisturizer and day cream and Burt's Bee BB cream. We also picked up some cottage cheese and nuts. read more

I come shopping here from time to time or just to pick up a sandwich and a smoothie. Most of the time they have everything I need from the food counter items to the grocery items on my list. Service can either be fast or slow and a hit or miss with the sandwiches (it was good today). Sometimes they forget to add some ingredients or add ingredients when they didn't have to. I was impressed by this Sprouts location in El Cajon. Clean, spacious, modern, and not busy on a Saturday afternoon. Tasted a sample of their double chocolate chip muffin, SO GOOD! Came here for a sandwich. $4.99 is an amazing price but I always get extra meat and bacon for a few extra dollars, so my sandwich ends up being $7.99. Good meat portion. They forgot my bacon but were able to put it in when we came back to the counter and informed them. They also OFFERED toasting! Pretty sure all other Sprouts locations don't have a toaster or just prefer to lie about not having it. A huge plus because I love a toasted sandwiches. I had a yummy lunch with my sandwich and a bag of jalapeño potato chips. They had SO many grab and go and easy meal options that I wish I actually went grocery shopping that day. We LOVE Sprouts for the organic fruit and vegetables at a reasonable price. My experience today was less than stellar. We wanted to order some of the fresh deli sandwiches ahead, but didn't know if we could. I called the store and the phone was answered right away. Unfortunately, the young lady who answered the phone didn't know if we could call ahead. She offered a transfer to the deli department, which I appreciated. Well, there I sat for more than seven (7) minutes without someone even picking up the phone. At least, someone could've answered and then ask me to wait a few minutes...then again, I'm not sure I wouldn't be in the same position. My husband was able to update me on the menu, which has way fewer options than a few years ago. We realize this isn't the individual store's choice so I'm leaving the rating as is. I think Sprouts is missing a huge opportunity to be unique in the sandwich field, especially with the ingredients they have right nearby. That said, sandwiches were well made and delicious and well worth the price. read more

Called this location looking for smoothies since i had tried 2 other locations prior and they didn't have them, Lady on the phone confirmed they made smoothies and that they close at 7pm. Went to the deli to order at 720 and the lady said they closed at 5 then when i said i called before coming she said the lady to do the smoothies left.. and that she wasn't gonna service us.
