The ambiance in this place was delightful--low lighting and a romantic feel. We went on a weeknight and received excellent service. My partner had a mushroom pasta special that was quite good, but for me the highlights of our meal were my ratatouille and a baked brie, peaches and brioche appetizer special! Highly recommend if in the ATL/Decatur area.

Boef bourguignon- already half eaten before I remembered a picture! Large portion!

We love this place for a date night! It's very small and doesn't take reservations for 2, but we've gone twice and have shown up by 6pm and have gotten a seat no problem. The bread is very fresh, we've ordered the Nage de saint jacques- essentially a seafood broth with scallops/ shrimp and fish. Very good and flavorful. We've also ordered the boeuf bourguignon, like a beef stew with spaetzle pasta. Would recommend if looking for a great French place!

If you love French food you're going to LOVE Cafe Alsace! A tiny little restaurant in the heart of Decatur, with the best French food ever. Perfect date night spot! My husband and I had the bread plate, the chicken cordon bleu, and he had a special they were offering that night. (Pictured below) Even the drinks were amazing! 10/10 recommend!

What a quaint cafe in Downtown Decatur, GA! Mom lives about a block away so we walked over on a drizzly morning around 11:15 am. They open at 11:00 am, it was Saturday. There was already a table seated inside and we chose to sit on the sidewalk, under the awning. How perfect. 5:00 pm somewhere & 11:30 am in GA, so a glass of $15 wine seems fitting! A belated Mother's Day lunch, after all. Started with a beautiful salad, escargot and pate- all absolutely DELISH!! Our server was kind and very soft spoken. Was fun to sit out & watch some sort of wedding party (we assumed) parade walk by with varous white boxes & trinkets. A beautiful parade of young girls dressed in their fairy dresses- wondered what that was about. A healthy vibe of goth & dog walkers, hand holding... so fun! Oh, the food. We were relaxed & the 2nd wave of great food came. A rustic artichoke quiche, French onion soup & tomato soup. So lovely!!! We ate until we were satisfied, got a to go box & walked around the cute stores for a while. A nice day! You need to go & take a moment to relax. For 2 people with a good tip & those $15 glasses of wine was a little over $100. Bon Apetite!

I came in for lunch yesterday and I absolutely enjoyed my time. I had a wonderful hospitality and was seated right away. I love the ambiance totally chic and flowery decorated entrance and beautiful views. The food was good. I would come back for dinner and try more food. Thank you.

Don't pass up this little gem in the heart of Decatur. This is probably one of the only places that you will be able to order a Beef Wellington in GA. The decor is quaint like a country house or restaurant in the French countryside. I tried the chicken liver Pate with warm French bread and tiny pickles and I enjoyed it so much I took it to my hotel to finish the next day. The star here is the Beef Wellington, which is a was a perfectly cooked and extremely soft Beef tenderloin wrapped in pastry with mushrooms and served with green pepper corn sauce in a bed of potato gratin. It was exquisite! The server was attentive and I never had to wait for anything I needed. I recommend one of their red wine blends to pair with your food.

I have definitely have overlooked this restaurant. Came here kn a whim and had amazing delicious food. Especially the entrees and great service! The pate and escargot was alright but the pasta and pot pie like dish was amazing!

A pleasant dining experience with warm, homey, delicious food. The ambience is adorable. Feels like a cafe trottoir from France with a neighborhood and welcoming vibe. Not much space but i didn't feel that i was crammed. Food: Salmon Wellington: literally zero critiques. This dish is delicious. The salmon was cooked perfectly, not dry at all. The puff pastry was fully cooked and flakey without being moist or soggy from the salmon. The croquette was perfectly crispy and flavorful and i felt that the goat cheese sauce provided the perfect zing and tanginess that the dish needed. Would come back for this dish alone. Beef bourguignon: this dish was good but nothing complex. Heavy on the wine taste and very peppery. A heart stew with tender meat. A dish that i think could be made by many but solid nevertheless. Probably would not get again only because other dishes to try and it didn't blow me away. Duck confit: i enjoyed the orange glaze of this dish tremendously. It wasn't too sweet or overpowering but full of flavor. The duck itself was delicious but i felt that the surrounding skin was quite tough, I've had better cooked duck elsewhere but was not terrible by any means. Probably would not get again. Dessert: we got a pear pie with chocolate cinnamon ice cream. The pears were flavorful and the crust at first appeared to be too thick but ended up being light and flakey. A lovely neighborhood spot, will definitely return.

My sister and I split the Gaucho and the Yellowfin Tuna Melt (~$20 each). Pricey for sandwiches, but the quality is there. The Gaucho is packed with meat, almost too much, so the combo with chips helps balance things out. The Tuna Melt was the clear winner, Calabrian chilies with the tuna salad was a great call, though the bread-to-filling ratio could use some work. Overall, both sandwiches are delicious but could use some ratio tweaking. I'll be back to work through the rest of their rotating menu.

After many, many months (okay, years at this point), I returned. Unfortunately, I had the same experience with my order. I ordered the Hot Italian. It was warm, and that's all this sandwich delivered. The porchetta was dry, chewy and bland. It was so bad that I didn't eat it all. And the pepperoni and soppressata didn't add any spice to the sandwich. This is the first time I have ever been disappointed in soppressata! I thought the pepperoni mayo would add some kick as well and maybe it would have if there had been more than a half-tablespoon of it. And the bread was not fresh! I could have cried over this. The cost is outrageous for this kind of quality. On the upside, the service remains top tier and the space is still welcoming. But I won't be back. There are string lights above, and I can only imagine how beautiful this all looks at night. I'd read a LOT about their fish sandwich. That it is a good size helping. That it has a great light fresh vinegar sauce with thinly sliced carrots and other crunchy veg. The fish tasted fresh fried. And I have to say, this is the Best fish sandwich I have ever tasted. I only am upset I hadn't come much sooner. I will have to return, probably on a monthly basis for that fish sandwich. There are enough pictures out there of the sandwich. Bathrooms are extremely clean. Staff is friendly and fast. Cons. They only have outdoor seating. Most of the seats are stools without backs. There were some flies and a wasp lurking in the patio. Fans were blowing away my napkins. When I paid in cash they rounded my bill up to the next dollar. Never had someone do that before. $34 for a cheesesteak, potatoes, and small drink seems to be overly priced at a take-out spot. It would be more understanding if you could dine-in or had waiter service. I ordered the Korean Cheesesteak with smashed fried potatoes and a Bourbon Peach Punch. The drink was tasty but really small to cost $10. It looked like a 6oz cup. I would prefer to pay $5 more for a full glass. The smashed fried potatoes were covered in a sauce and some of the best potatoes I have had anywhere. The cheesesteak was made with pork (also a new experience for me) and had plenty of cheese and onions.

I'm doing this review to highlight this phenomenal team. I walked in, was greeted immediately. The young lady at the register was super nice. They always have the best cookies. I couldn't decide which cookie to get. She recommended the oatmeal. I said I wanted a fresh one since she said, they just finished baking. I don't know if the guy the the brought them to me was the manager on duty or what, but he went to the back and brought out fresh cookie tray then let me choose which one I wanted. Wrapped it up and handed it to me. After I checked out, without me asking, I wasn't even thinking about it, the cashier automatically offered me a cup for water. I don't know if this is new or not. I don't remember them doing this back in the day, you had to ask, but that was nice. While waiting, I looked towards the kitchen and even the cook was nice, nodded and smiled at me, essentially acknowledging me me from where he was. I had a really nice experience here today even though it was quick. I really wish I could do something other than this review for this team to be recognized 2/24/26 4:30pm. Even the guy on his break was nice. We laughed and joked real quick. None of these employees seem to hate what they do and it shows. Even the guy who I believed to be the manager on duty, super attentive to everything going on in the restaurant and kept moving and assisting the cashier. They all had great dispositions and really made me want to support this location. Highly recommend this F2O. They all made my day. I got the usual tenders and garlic mash. However, the cashier let me know that they had hot version of the tenders, so I got the hot version for the first time. The mash was dry and did not taste fresh, but the strips were fresh and really good. They definitely are more flat/thin than I remember. I entered and picked up one of the menus that was close to the door. They had a pretty good selection of different things to choose from. I zoomed in on their quinoa rice bowls. I approached the counter and there was nobody at the register, at first, but someone said they would be with me shortly. She returned to the register and took my order. I ordered the Southwestern Quinoa Rice bowl and added the blackened chicken. I was happy to see they offered a few different beer options, so I added a Dos Equis Amber Especial. They ran up my bill, provided a number and informed me that somebody would bring out my order. I headed outside, found a table, hung out for a couple minutes and the food was already arriving. Everything looked fresh and delicious. I reminded the server that I also ordered a Dos Equis so she had to go back and get that and returned quickly. I started digging into my quinoa bowl and it was very good. Something in the bowl was cold, I think it was the onions or corn relish, which threw me off for a little. After a few bites, I got used to it and kept going. Also I asked for no avocados and they still made it on the bowl. I continued eating and realized I really didn't need to add the chicken, the ingredients in the bowl itself were filling enough. The place was not really packed, but there was a steady stream of people coming in picking up to go orders. Looks like a popular place for the business folks in the area.
