The place is nice and spacious. The people are super sweet and helpful. The sandwiches are stuffed. I think it's worth the cost for how big the sandwiches are.

Incredible customer service, I was greeted as soon as i walked in and the lady at the front was so kind, I ordered their special and it was easily one of the best sandwiches i've eaten, the manager was very kind as well!!

Amazing food. A little pricy but give you a larger portion for your money. Their weekly special is always interesting but delicious. Large menu with tons of different options. Definitely worth checking out!

I finally tried the famous Bonafide Deluxe, and the reviews are pretty spot on. I ordered the Mortadella, which was packaged really nicely and tasted delicate, vinegary, and full of flavor. I'd definitely order this again. Everything about that sandwich just worked. I also tried the B.F. Burger, which was okay. Honestly, the patties felt overcooked, and the bun was a little burnt. If the patties had been cooked medium, it probably would've been much better, but they ended up a bit tough. I think Fred's in Krog has them beat when it comes to the burger. That said, I'll for sure be ordering more items since they have a huge menu with tons of different sandwiches.

Bona Fide is absolutely delicious! I haven't had one thing I didn't like and their delivery is always packaged nicely, with all condiments included which is appreciated. Every sub is a 10/10 and I cannot wait to get my hands on one of those burgers sooner than later!

I really wanted to like this place but I think it is not for me. I do not want to deter others from trying them. Please make your own decision. This place is hard to find. I did not know it was in the middle of a circle around a Marta station. I had to use street parking. I was disappointed that they asked for tip but did nothing tip worthy. I am providing a tip but I need to get my own drink, get my own refill, and bust the table once I am done? What service are you providing? The food tasted good. This is easily the best Italian sandwich I have gotten all year. That sandwich combo cost $28 after tax and tip. I am sure there are plenty other places that could give a great sandwich for that price.

I don't know, I just feel like going out for sandwich meals should not cost you $50. This isn't inflation. This is just overpricing everything. This world is getting ridiculous with the prices. I make good money and think this is wild so how do people who aren't as fortunate even get by. I will not be back. Time to start cooking at home

Good, hearty lunch! $20 for a sandwhich is a bit steep, but it was filling with fresh ingredients and plenty protein. I got the Italian Hot, which was good but quite savory! I believe that something crunchy and sweet and/or acidic (like pickled peppers or red onions) and something creamy like avacado would make for a nice balance of flavors and textures. I'm so glad I added the smashed cucumbers to my order. They were fresh with the sweet and acidic crunch that I needed to accompany the sandwich. Again, $10 is steep for what looks to be not even a whole cucumber, but it was good!

Bona Fide is a spot I hadn't been back to in a couple of years, and I'm glad I returned. They still make some of the best sandwiches around. I ordered a limited-time cheesesteak special. I can't remember the name, but I definitely remember the flavor. They do not skimp on the beef. It was packed, hearty, and balanced perfectly with just the right amount of cheese. The staff is friendly and welcoming, and the place feels comfortable, like somewhere you want to take your time eating. [[HIGHLIGHT]]It's clean, with two huge TVs if you want to catch a game.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] There was a small mix up with our sandwiches, which they caught before we even opened them. They let us keep the extra one and had the correct order out quickly. Great food, great people, and great service. I won't wait another few years before coming back.

One of the best sandwiches I've had in Atlanta! [[HIGHLIGHT]]This place is so cute inside.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] It's a little hard to find, since it's right near a Marta station. We found street parking really easily nearby. I got the Smoked Turkey Melt and my husband got an Italian sandwich. Both were great. Portions are HUGE. We definitely could've split one sandwich. We also got the fries, and they were SO good. I'm usually not a fan of thick cut fries, but theirs were seasoned so well.

Got it to-go and it was great! They labeled the food appropriately which made large to-go orders easy! Large sandwiches to be honestly split over multiple meals unless you're big back like me A little pricy for a sandwich but they fill the sandwiches to the brim!!

You can find Bona Fide Deluxe at 1454 La France St NE Ste 110 Atlanta, GA 30307 - this is a standalone building right across the rail tracks for the Edgewood-Candler Park MARTA Station. The shop is tucked away on the first floor to the left. There's limited parking out front (the road turns in and curves to the left). There's neon spelling "BONA" "FIDE" on the window next to the main entry (it's a bit hard to see if it's a bright day) - I'd say there's little ostentation to announce the location from the outside - this is truly a neighborhood-oriented place, in my opinion. I dropped into this sandwich place with a few friends after an event and had a great sandwich and a good time. As with similar shops, you order at the counter (what's now called "fast casual" and your food is brought to the table. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The interior is super eclectic, everything from an alarming array of hanging chandeliers to shadow-box shelving behind the full bar brimming with action figures in vignettes. The place has a diner-ish quality to it with 1-inch tile floors, expansive windows and a tall ceiling with exposed steel girders.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]It's also quite noisy so be prepared.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The restaurant had a surprising list of craft beer options, mostly Georgia breweries with a few surprises and a great assortment. The place on the Saturday afternoon when I visited was busy but with available tables. There's additional seating outside in case it's too much for you (and it's not too hot - it is Atlanta). My Hot Italian sandwich was, in a word, perfection - nice crusty sour dough filled with porchetta, soppressata, pepperonit, provolone, lettuce, tomato, onion and a pepperoni mayo - it's making my mouth water thinking about it. Everything was very high quality and the sandwich was large enough to be quite filling. The $3 "make it a combo" adds in a bag of chips and a soft drink. The sandwich was $18 I believe - not cheap but I think worth it. Service was great with an unusually patient order taker behind the counter, willing to answer questions and make recommendations. I think this is one of the best sandwich shops in Atlanta

I was craving a burger and was looking to try somewhere new. Bona Fide deluxe's burger looked good and it didn't disappoint flavor wise. I do wish the bread was more toasted as it was a bit soggy against the patty. Other than that, service and staff were great. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Nice family friendly ambiance.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

They're def on the smaller side but quite economical so grabbing multiple is easy. However the interaction with the staff and the handling of my order threw me completely off and unfortunately dampened the actual experience of the food. For someone who had ordered online and already paid, it took WAY too long for me to get food that was already prepared and sitting on the counter. I walked in and it was almost like no one wanted my money. One of the staff passed by me to go outside and ran into me but didn't address it at all. Not even a "whoops". The young man behind the bar was casually talking to another customer who was clearly on their way out. No problem, until it became a problem. I stood there for several minutes not knowing whether to interrupt their convo, and once I realized I wouldn't be addressed otherwise I decided to just butt in. I work in the service industry and truly could never imagine leaving a new customer hanging like that. Mind you, I wasn't even in a rush and was enjoying my rainy day... which should let you know how ridiculous this interaction was. To make matters worse, they literally just threw the sandwiches in a paper bag. I don't mind minimalist packaging. But this was just disrespectful lol. All the sandwiches were just mashed together and deformed and unsightly once unwrapped. Unfortunately I don't remember any of them because they just weren't memorable. The interaction in the restaurant didn't make it any better. I've seen comments that some of the young (mostly white) "hipster" staff can be oddly passive aggressive to certain clientele... usually I don't agree with those views but man that day really made me think they had a point. First and last time. No bueno.

But that could just be the bite I had because my friend really liked it. I love the okie dokie(?) sandwich because I love artichoke hearts. It's definitely on the smaller side so I would get two sandwiches next time. The watermelon salad was fun and refreshing. I wouldn't get it again, but I did enjoy the flavor. (Just not sure if I can justify 4$ for a small side salad.)

I loved the caramelized jalepeno slices since they added it beautiful hint of spicy sweetness to the dish. The bread has a nice chew and it does not get soggy fast. - CONS: Not that special. I dont know why it's "korean" since it tasted like a normal cheesesteak but with a few jalapenos. I also wish they added in more jalapenos (I got like 3). 2) Garlic Fries with Ranch: - PROS: Very nice texture with a crispy outside and fluffy inside that is not too dense. The flavor comes from the garlic mince that is on top. The ranch is like a mixture of an aioli and tartar sauce (I think they make it in house, correct me if I'm wrong). - CONS: Inconsistent texture as some of the fries were dense but a few had that good hollow crisp bite. Quite oily too. Overall, I enjoyed the cheesesteak but would probably skip the fries next time. I do believe it is good especially the bread. I don't think it is worth all the hype it gets, but it is good.

Oh babyyy, I am a new fan. I see what all the hype is about!…read more I visited Necessary Purveyor on recommendation from my teammate, Sierra, as we planned lunch for two. As soon as she dropped their name, it was an immediate yes for me. I have heard, seen and read so many great things about the food and service, it was about time that I visited. Located at Ponce City Market, finding the restaurant is incredibly easy and there's lot and street parking all over. We visited on a weekday afternoon and I snagged a parking spot easily, and strolled right in. Necessary Purveyor is beautiful! It reminded me of a little French bistro. There are a number of tables all over and it's seat-yourself style. I grabbed a table as I waited for Sierra and took some time to look around. I love that they have fridges setup that have wine, beer, different sodas and juices, picnic needs and even some of their chicken salad and pastas to go. So many options! To order, guests must line up and order at the register and then your food is brought to your table. When I first entered, there were a number of parties sitting down but there was still space. As noon rolled around, it got thick in there! I could tell that the lunch rush was on and wow, did Necessary Purveyor get hit. But the team handled everyone so smoothly, the guests were patient and were rewarded by a swift ordering process. For lunch, Sierra went in knowing that she wanted their chicken salad as she said it was her favorite. I opted for the Mexican wrap and that bad boy was huge! All of the wraps that I saw coming out were massive. I'll definitely be back for a chicken caesar wrap! I loved that we could see all of the food being prepared behind the glass. Everything was delicious and I can't wait to go back!

The beef inside the sandwich had a sauce over it that was pretty good and savory. Now I just want to say that it did have a sauce that came with it but I don't know if it was for my sandwich. But whatever sauce that was was pretty darn good. It fit on the fries and helped the sandwich along as well. I would get the sandwich again but there are a couple of other ones there that I would try first. The French fries are really good. They came with a sack of fries and they were very well seasoned and super crispy.
