The owner is very nice and friendly! my latte wasn't as strong as I like, it was pretty light as well as watery from the ice which didn't help much. Finally found a place where they serve coffee properly, the coffee is actually coffee while the atmosphere is relaxing and unpretentious. The Greek owner is very friendly and welcoming; they have a nice selection of desserts and you can come here either to work or fantasize about life in the Mediterranean without a care in the world. Just moved to Norwalk a couple of weeks ago and I don't drink coffee every day, but I've been here twice and had a great experience both times. The first time I had an iced latte with almond milk and it was perfect; the second time my husband and I stopped by for affogato (espresso poured over gelato, one of our favorite treats) and it was sublime. Bagels were also generously spread with cream cheese and much better than your average coffee shop pastry case bagel. The place is small but charming with a homey, friendly feel, and the prices are totally reasonable. Highly recommended! read more

This is such a lovely little cafe. It brings a lot of sunshine to this drab area of norwalk. The owner is so sweet. I was the only one in the shop, and he needed to step out so he told me to watch the cafe for a bit. It was very sweet and I appreciated his trust. When he got back he gave me possibly the best cheese pastry I've ever had, on the house! It was so flaky and hot and crispy... definitely ask for the feta pastry! We descended on this place with five (wild and crazy) kids and four adults, all asking for gelato and coffee at once, and the owner (at least I assume he was the owner) was so patient and understanding, helping us all get what we wanted and making sure we were comfortable in the space, even though we were sort of taking over. He could have easily been annoyed with our group but instead treated us with hospitality and care. Also, the coffee drinks we adults had were DIVINE! The moment my boyfriend and I walked in the door to this café after a great dinner right around the corner at Pontos, we were greeted warmly by the young man working. He was very pleasant and hospitable; he recommended two delicious desserts: the baklava cake-- a bottom layer of baklava, with custard in the middle and a whipped topping, and the equally great walnut cake. My boyfriend and I felt comfortable staying for a while and sipping our cappuccinos. What a little gem in Norwalk. Can't believe I didn't know about this spot before. Just moved to the area. As I was consulting my phone for directions, the owner came out and asked me if I was lost and offered help. He invited me into the Café and offered to make me a coffee. He was very warm, sincere, and spoke proudly about Norwalk and his business (which is a good sign for a new resident). I ended up wanting something cold because it's a hot day and landed on the fig and cream gelato. I've traveled to Italy numerous times and this was the most spectacular flavor I have ever had.
